#Clarifications on Healer?

hey, me again. i would love to hear dev thoughts on the games "healer".
the heals are lackluster to me. theres four possible casts (five with spellbook) in any given fight and they dont seem to heal all that much.
of course, theres the option to take the aggro and use healing shield but thats more paladin and there are better classes to hold aggro.
an easy solution is to git gud and not need heals but it seems only a quarter of players im teamed with have that understanding of enemy attacks.
does mmo type healing break the flow of combat or something, in the devs/your opinion?

Maybe in future we will get a full priest? Cleric does seem very paladin like to me as well.

Cleric use to be the best class in beta. It had the same ability wizard does to change between elements so you could use 4 skills. Making healing easy and mana management harder

Oh man, I wish I had played beta to see. That sounds way better
