FN Festival Crashes (every time)
Issue:
Festival crashes on my PC every time I attempt to start into a "game".
So far all attempts to play Festival ended in crashes at pretty much the same part, which is after selecting a song and starting a "match", my character coming onto the stage and some cinematics start to play. Then screen freezes, FN game crashes as a whole, and Athena Crash Reporter shows up. Usually I kill the app from Task Manager to not to wait longer, but for capturing the issue I waited till that Athena dialog window pops up. So far I couldn't play a single second the new FN Festival and I don't know how to accomplish the quests as well as how shall I consider to buy the Festival Pass like that.
I'm generally suspecting a technical issue of UE5 engine / game coding in conjunction with Intel integrated graphics (iGPU).
Explain how to reproduce:
-
- Select Festival main mode
-
- Go to the place to select any song
-
- Start it
-
- Crash
Platform and Render Mode:
(the GPU, which is integrated graphics is above min requirements; the other hardware specs are even above recommended system settings compared to the info found on Fortnite homepage)
