Some updates ago I noticed my villagers were disappearing and reappearing. Now with the new season my villagers are completely GONE. I have about eight villages and in none of them I can see my villagers. They appear on the Village Square but do not show up on the actual village, this happened a lot with visiting villagers way before but I didn't mind as much.
My world is survival and I've had it since the launch of Lego Fortnite. Any help? A friend of mine which I share the world with has already emailed Epic but has not obtained a response.

What is the difference between your village square and actual village? Does your village have a village square?

Sorry I'm not understanding your question, are we refering to the same thing? Is a Totem the same as Village Square? I meant the villagers are missing completely. They appear on the Village Square with their job (chef, farmer, etc) but do not show up in the village, as if I didn't have any villagers at all. I have destroyed their beds but they're still gone. Sorry if I interpreted your question wrong.

I noticed this issue with my Lost Isles village so I didn't even decor, it's just a village square and I was collecting villagers for my codex. Then I went to other villages and the same issue appeared.

Are you close to any cliffs? I’ve noticed villagers sometimes yeet themselves off and can’t get back up. Although logging out and back in should spawn them all back up top of the entire village areas is on the same plane

Nope, no cliffs close at all 🥲! I'm pretty sure it's a funky bug as you said, I was hoping it would get fixed with the new season but it just became worse.
Emailed Lego support today again, hoping for a response but I don't think they can do much tbh...

There's apparently a "Rapture" glitch that may happen now and again where all the villagers suddenly float up into the sky to never return

Try going into your world's settings, turning off villagers, and then turn it back on to see if they respawn
