I have been playing Lego Fortnite since launch on a world with a buddy, he shared it with me and another friend so it appeared under my shared worlds.
Recently though, the world had disappeared on his list of worlds and it therefore doesn’t show for me under shared worlds.
He assures me he didn’t delete the world manually, where is this world and can it be recovered at all? We spent hundreds of hours building and creating stuff.

The title of this post isnt correct if it is/was your friend's world. The owner of the world is the one who should report the issue. As Belle said, your friend can use the support site or here (social media sometimes gets answered faster tho, which is crazy).

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your world is gone and they are not going to help you in anyway
Most of us got eliminated from our expert world, for no reason due to a bug that Lego knew about for months and all they had to do to fix each persons world was change one number from 1 to 0 but they couldn’t be bothered
0 = alive
1 = eliminated
It shouldn’t matter who reports the bug you or your friend a bug is a bug
The fact that the world does not appear in the listing, I guarantee they’re not gonna lift a finger to help or even listen

Just so you know Minecraft for PC + create mod is a million times better than Lego

It's been like more than 6 months for me that Epic did not fix my world server either... This is terrible service!!! 💢 😠 😡

Says who? If it’s an error on their end, and I’ve provided the world ID and seed what’s to say it can’t be recovered? Do you work for Fortnite support and privy to their technical abilities? No.

I do not work for tech support. This is just my observation and a bit of friendly advice but it’s up to you if you take it
I am very good at observation and predictions that’s why I haven’t needed to work a day since I was 21
Most of us lost our expert world for no reason and the error was on their end, but none of us got our world back, even though our world was still in the list, so unless there’s something special about you, which is going to make them get your friends world back when they couldn’t be bothered to do anything for anyone else
If Lego Fortnite get your friends world back I will donate 10K to charity
