Hello fellow Fortnite enthusiasts and developers,

I’m an engineer in real life with a keen interest in Fortnite’s building mechanics. Today, I’d like to propose an idea to enhance the vehicle building experience in the game.

Issue:
Currently, when constructing a vehicle using multiple blocks, activating a single lever triggers all attached thrusters. This setup limits maneuverability, as it’s impossible to control thrusters independently. The workaround, using unconsolidated pieces, often leads to collision bugs and unstable builds.

Proposed Solution:
I suggest implementing a ‘Manage’ option when approaching a lever. This menu would allow players to select specific thrusters to be linked to that lever. This feature would enable more precise and varied control over vehicle movements, fostering creativity in vehicle design and functionality.

Benefits:

• Enhanced Control: Players can design vehicles with more complex and realistic control systems.
• Creative Freedom: This feature opens up new possibilities for innovative vehicle designs.
• Improved Gameplay: Better control leads to more engaging and enjoyable gameplay experiences.

I believe this idea could significantly enrich the Fortnite building and gameplay experience. I’m eager to hear thoughts from the community and the development team on this suggestion.

Thank you for considering my proposal!

@pine sky I would like to get your feedback on this ! I think it is not so hard to implement that

sounds like a good idea! works as a better way to save some materials, too, since all you can get back from vehicles is flexwood (and with the vehicle in your video, flexwood and wood, although wood is pretty easy to get.)
