Loaded up my pre pounds save. The UV images i'm detecting with a Uv Light does not show progress correctly. Checked on my Steam Progress yesterday, it showed 2 of 27. When i loaded up my save it says 0 of 27. As soon as i reveal the bathroom UV image, i'm granted the achievement when it's only about 7:45 pm.
Some players have also claimed that it doesn't detect any progress until after 10 pm. Some have claimed it works during the day.
All i've done is just hold the UV Light and ran around the place. Idk if storing the light in your bag when it's off, changes anything.
