a cool way to get people to buy the game while it's still in early access is by giving them benefits, a good example would be a badge that could be disabled in settings that shows you owned the game during it's early access stage, or maybe exclusive weapons and armors, nothing too overpowered, mostly just something that'd be fun to use, like a flail or modern weapons like baseball bats, these are just examples though.

I wouldnt add weapons only ea players can use. Im ea myself and think it's a cool idea, but not being able to use a weapon in a game you bought i feel would be infuriating. I like the weapon skin ideas though.
