When a weapon is swung it feels more like you're awkwardly cutting into their spine slowly, the impacts don't feel as rewarding, i feel like it'd be better to make the game's speed completely live, because after all there are options to slow it down, the easiest way to do this would be to increase the slow mo speed limit to 1.50x so that it feels realistic, but players will still always have the option to play on a lower speed for the original feel of the game.

1x is real time speed.
The reason swings and cuts feel slow is because they are slow. What we need is better physics to allow weapon acceleration
I think the weapons already can move too fast for human eyes to keep up, if only the moveset is well optimized. I feel like improvements to the default moveset(so that they aren't so slow) and moveset editor UI would indirectly buff weapons a lot.
That being said, 1.5x speed shouldn't be too hard to implement so I don't see the harm with this. Nothing wrong with having more options.
