I guess that's not a bad idea but you'll be able to go to the steam workshop to download movements and I'm sure people will make tutorial videos and all that

So custom movements shouldn't be the worst thing

I could forsee incredibly bizarre and cursed movements becoming meta due to the simplicity of the physics system

Simplicity?

#

well

#

it's complex

#

but also

#

not as complex as real life

#

obviously

#

the "muscles" and "bones" aren't 1-1 with a real human

#

this is not criticism

#

it's amazing for a game

#

but

#

a lot of movements that would never be possible in a real life scenario could be made in game with the move editor

#

even the moves in the demo, if you swap keys quickly enough can make the bardiche move insanely quickly

Yeah that's fair I get what you mean with simple now

We will have to wait for the game to release I guess

we could use an option where the hosts chooses the possible move sets and everyone else downloads and uses those. Mirror fights are valid to measure skill and enforce rules. f.e. have a fencing tournament without checking each players individual moveset.
