Does this happen when you are not injured? The movement is fully physics based. So if your leg gets injured and it no longer has the strength to get up this can happen. It can also happen when the leg hits something or the characters weight is fully on the leg that should be raised to walk back. If this happens when the character is not injured and you write the steps to reproduce this I can fix it with improvements to the walk animation.

I get this bug, it happens seemingly randomly while im not injured at all. of course when i go to record it, i cant replicate it. Maybe it is one of my legs take some damage and stop working properly. But still even the tiniest nick and when i try to step back its like my foot is glued to the ground, completely impossible to move backwards with just a tiny leg injury
