Summary:
I really think drilling shouldn’t cost double AP during Night Mode. It feels pretty bad when I forget to do my drilling before bed and then I have to let 150 AP just sit there until morning, completely unused. I woke up just a few minutes after Night Mode started once, and even with full AP, I couldn't do anything meaningful. There should definitely be some AP sink available during Night Mode that doesn't feel like a penalty.

Why:

  • From my understanding, the purpose of Night Mode is to prevent players from raiding during normal sleeping hours, so it shouldn't include actions like drilling.
  • It makes me feel bad when I forget to do drilling before bed and I have to let 150 AP sit there until morning.
  • It feels bad to drill with double AP.
  • Missing out on 150 AP worth of drilling definitely impacts my progress.
  • This situation happens a few times a week.

I'm now beginning to suspect it's because it's a hassle to change this version from the Mainland Chinese version and they have those strict controls. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm saying it's annoying so they made it low priority...

At this point I think, they are simply trying to lose as many players as possible to nightmode
