We don't know yet but possibly 2 ways.

1. Download from playstore.
   If it's county locked then you can create a dummy Google account. Connect to a Hong Kong VPN and add a card to change region to hong Kong.

2. Just downloaded it from any trusted third party store.

It's an Open source beta so it's playable by all who want to play. So getting an APK file should be the least of your worries.
Instead hope that the ping is at least stable from your country. 100ms to 180/200ms world be necessary for at least a pleasant experience.

Some beta runs without vpn so let's see when it comes out.
And I participated in the last global close beta and the ping was stable. Under 80ms. So I am pretty sure they have the servers to open global test but on a smaller scale.

I think the mods are just very confused and don't understand what ping actually is, they say they made the servers better and I won't have high ping but it's just not possible to have a decent ping when connecting to a server that far away. They just label this test as global so they can use it as an excuse when someone asks why there haven't been any news for 6 months even though the player couldn't play because it's not global but a regional test. The thousands of people that think they can play when the test opens will all flood this discord and rant because the can't play even though the mod told them so.
