After completing a run as warrior i have a couple of thoughts that i want to share as i think this game has great potential. The list is in no particular order. After that list i will try to give some ideas what i think could be done to help with them.

  1. I keep forgetting to increase my stats. It took me a while to realize i have stats and that i can increase them, not to mention that i can do it every level/passive skill?
    2.Im not sure about the whole system behind items. Getting 3 passives to chose from with a rerol imo is ok, but getting 3 items with a reroll where you can get str/dex/int item, accessory, skill support etc is kinda wonky and sometimes a run killer, as in one run i could not get a new weapon and was stuck with really low dps. Also, i tried to play armor but could not get armour items which was a bit sad.
  2. After some time (when boss aggro was really close to me) i kept getting only unique items which was a bit irritating, as i kept getting some evasion gloves whish i didnt want but i could not get any other gloves. It also killed the appeal of a unique item as being something rare and something to look out for.
  3. More clarity with skills and damage. I was playing with ice slash skill (which bugged for me and didnt show the arc of an attack), and i wasnt sure if it converts 100% of my phys dmg to cold damage. I wasnt sure if my weapon upgrade will give me anything as skill only specifies that it does cold damage. More info on convertion would be also nice to know if i have 100% cold convert and if i should go inc cold dmg or inc phys dmg or if it doesnt matter.
  4. Reduce spawn range of monsters at first levels, i rolled forest layout and 1 monster spawned almost at the end and i had to find it.
  5. When finishing a level items fly to player which is super nice, but if i move they are left behind which is not super nice.

I will list my ideas to help address those "problems" in a message below as i reached character limit here.

  1. I would create some flashing indicator when viewing the tree that you have some unspent stat points
  2. Maybe make it so nodes instead of giving 3 items and 3 passives make them to give 3 items of given category and 3 passives so for example: a node would give 3 [skill supports OR 3 weapons OR 3 armours OR 3 accesssories] and 3 passives.
  3. It is quite self explanatory and i believe it is how it is for the demo sake to show players that hey we have those uniques. but nonetheless it hurts demo a bit so i would reduce unique find chance in further levels.

  6. Make it so items follow player all the time, because when i move to pick some items the ones that fly are left behind me. Eventually make it so all the items fly at once after finishing level
