hello chat, first post here but just thought to give some modders some cool ideas! note i have no modding talents, and am unsure if this is even possible at the current time.
Item Idea;
Red Gem.
The red gem is a rare scrap that will only appear on mansion maps. The Red Gem will sell for i guess moderately well. it's downsides aren't so large that you should be getting a crazy amount of money for it, but on the offside that when picked up, an employee holding the item will begin to passively gain insanity (very slowly)
along with the losing sanity, while holding the red gem the player in question will have random fake sounds of footsteps, items, scrap (that can actually play sound), and monsters play locally for just them whilst holding it.
dropping the gem will instantly halt the rise of insanity, and the fake sounds will stop.
