You can, though when you change the color it also affects the red part so I recommend a color that doesn't make it look too off, we used a Cyan for example since it keeps the red area looking okay

- add a configuration file so that in Gale or r2modman you can configure them for builds without LethalConfig
- Add a separate HP bar setting
- Customization of the flashlight color
- Customization of the text from the player, I tried all the functions and the text from the player still remained yellow
for 1, you have to set it to local mode in bootstrap.cfg for it to appear in modman, but it will then apply to everyone who uses your profile code

I'm not trying to be rude, but I left the community for a bit and when I came to take a look if there's any new mods and now LethalHUD swallowed all other existing HUD mods

But the aim of it is to be a general AIO solution for Hud color customization and such
It was a bit tough to go about adding features others havent added already. Havent touched the clock for a long time for example because there were mods that worked well but not with each other. I only touched that after I asked TestAccount about it and even after that I didnt do it for like 3 weeks 
For other mods I tend to go about adding compatibility instead cuz I dont see a reason why I would include BetterScanVisual for example when the mod works completely fine - only added a proxy to recolor the light with the scancolor (also approved by DBJ
)

My fps in 2 dev profiles are capped at 144 one has 30 mods the other has just 9-14ish depending on what mod im checking for compatibility etc..) both has GI but its turned off, as soon as its enabled, in orbit ive got 105-125 fps inconsistent
that was the reason I stopped using NiceChat, for some reason that just broke the entire chat and no one could use it

Hi, is this mod able to hide the clock when outside the ship but not inside the facility and able to completely hide the compass? i cant tell if im missing something
the bright side of basically merging improvedclock into this

I just had an idea: what if there is an option that allowed you to have values and options that shift depending on where you are. For example: the color of the HUD could change depending if you're in the ship, on the moon, or inside the interior.
It's definitely complicated but it seems really cool and I thought I'd put it here.

- No more solid color, only gradients as it was redundant (if you want a solid color, change both gradients to the same color)
- Swapped boolean FullHPColor config to hex string so it has its own way of recoloring the hp instead of relying on Main Color (This means in EladsHUD compat you can color border and bar easier)

- SprintMeter reworked a little bit

I have question about local config and halloween mode override
If i want every player that download my pack to have the halloween mode activated (but they still can disable it if they want), do I simply need to enable the halloween mode and share the code, or do I need to enable the local config, then enable halloween mode then share the code ?
If you enable the local config you’ll be able to share but that means you’d need reconfigure everything as local config is a different config file in the regular place where as global is in appdata. If you have local config and have halloween enabled on it, they will have the same setup for everything + halloween
For modpacks always use local if you want to share your setup
If they want to tune out of your setup they can just use global instead and then turn on halloween mode
Tl;dr local/global change needs to be done first if you want to share or tune out of sharing
The halloween mode saves their / your original setup in a json file for colors everytime you enable it so if people download your pack and disable the halloween override and then change their setup and then turn it back on their setup is saved in a json file so when they turn it off again it’ll go back to what they had

Glad you like it! Halloween mode doesnt enable features tho that are by default turned off so it recolors sprintmeter and weightcounter for example but the configuration for them are off by default iirc

to be more precise, the fade out chat feature of this mod works great when quitting the terminal, but it does not work when writting and sending a message in the chat
Having it as a feature directly could be insane tho since it's a very old mod, i kinda want to remove it even if it works just fine

oh, 2 last things:
- Also the oxyde when shredding does not remove the price
- Sometimes specially when reloading the save, the price text is a bit more to the left than usual
like 3-4 pixels to the left
- Should be fixed with the changed patch, I was hooking into a clientrpc method instead of hooking into the actual method
- That Im unsure of why, I also seen my total price default values not line up to where I had but thats due to a random mod I havent figured out which
gotcha, I think those are all the bugs we've found so far. But overall, the mod works incredibly well.
the scan getting stuck on the screen is also still a thing but its a very rare thing and I've got no idea how to reprod

I have only had that once on a moon and it reset either after taking off or dying I think (do not remember in detail)
its like a very specific thing all I know is that its related to my fadeaway and gooditemscan, I'm probably missing something because when I made that I had to fix this issue but theres like a scenario where it still gets stuck on the screen
The only time I encountered it, it got stuck after I looked away from the thing I scanned but Idk if that was relevant for the way it is caused

- TerminalFadeDelaysTime: this is the time when the fade starts same as slot or chat fade delay time but this happens for everything when you enter or close terminal

Previously there was just misctoolscolor for fps,ping,seed counters but now theres gradient A and B for that and for tooltips and theres a dropdown list config option where you can change from solid to gradient (if you choose solid then gradient A will be used)

Thats the top right tooltips when you open terminal for example it say something like “Quit terminal: [ESC]” or something when you have an item in your hand it says “Drop shovel: [Q]” or stuff like Inspect item: [Y] i believe

Weightcounterboolean was pretty much unnecessary since it pretty much just handled the color but since default color is set to what it was originally its just another button to toggle which I found redundant

Json stuff is still something thats somewhat new to me so yeah something went over my head

Also! The toggle for the sprint meter would be nice to have back tbh. as I, for one, prefer using accurate stamina display which allows for a nice TZP effect and such on the sprint meter. Maybe make it a opt-out toggle, instead of opt-in

the workaround is to hold Z instead of tap but idk what causes it

you can probably also fix that by disabling the depth of field blur with lethalsponge (if you have that)
@sullen kraken, I am sadly encountering an issue where the hex values for Health Color, Loading Text Color, Planet Summary Color, Planet Header Color, and Misc Tools Gradient Colors are being replaced by an empty value after every restart. Signal Message Color is always being reset to white as well.
I assume this is an error related to the halloween mode as disabling it does not fill in the proper values/does not fill anything in directly after, causing the console to spam invalid hex color warnings. After the halloween mode is disabled the prior described resets happen every launch

I noticed something strange, when having some items with dynamic tooltips display such as the Ocarina, the tooltips are not colored by the Halloween mode they are just white but when manually triggering a new tooltip to appear (ie with the Ocarina, selecting a new song) then the color will be applied as expected. This will happen every time the item is grabed for the first time, if it's droped then grabed again it will happen again
It seems that this mod changes the moon loading screen, i'd like to request a minor compatibility with LoadingTips if it's possible

- some networking finally (dont want to do networking for one feature but for a bunch in one major update thats why ping counter is just a placeholder rn lol)

You wouldnt have seen it anyway because something moved the gameobjects around like I mentioned above and so my colors failed to work, hence why it was spamming errors

Some stamina mods don't deplete it fully with elads hud and sprinting finishes at 10% and it looks off putting, unless i disable the percentage. I could swear it used to be fine with a different stamina mod, but I don't remember

If you are into making alternative modes of display, I thought about maybe a SM64-like meter (with more steps tho, min. one per 10% I'd say) as one alternative.
Another, less feasible idea I also had was that maybe you could make an overlay of sorts for the "damage meter" which slowly fills up blue the less oxygen you have. Sounds like a hassle though X3

Hello, Im doing a bit of testing here and there and I noticed this mod cause loosing around 30FPS~ in my modlist is there a reason for that? can it be because of conflict with other mods or it's supposed to be a bit performance hungry?

Gonna test it and give you info later. I did notice that you dont have the "Use local config" enabled. If you are doing a modpack and want to share your setup, I recommend enabling that. By default the mod uses globall config which basically means that no matter what profile you are using as long as the pack doesnt use local config, you'll have your own saved setup so people can opt out of a modpack's forced configs and keep a seperate saved stuff.

In the modmanager, its bootstrap.cfg if this is enabled the regular config will also show up normally in modmanager.
So right now in orbit I have 143-144 fps, 120-130~ish if I'm looking at the monitors and 110ish on Experimentation (which so far looks normal). Going to disable LethalHUD to see a difference and if theres some noticeable differences, I'm going to profile my code later when I'll have a bit more time.

i was doing an emote from TME while doing that, but i find it strange that it is this mod conflicting, this shouldnt be the case

would like if there was an option to stop each category from changing things like for example I prefer the mod lcbetterclock over the options for the clock it gives you in this mod but the options in lethalhud mess with how it looks another thing is I don't like how the messages like joining the ship and pulling the lever have to be the same color as somebody typing in chat stuff like that I just think it would be nice to stop certain things from changing anything

I had that once but I wasnt sure if it was gale using my current version thats messed up or the currently uploaded version (sometimes gale caches local mods to other profiles which is weird but it is what it is)
i found it, look at when i do the emote with the other player, i press numpad 5 to have a better visual and thus a better clip, it does not work, so i press it again and it just kinda flicker very fast
lcbetterclock centers it like this also has the dark zero but it won't show while using lethalhud

I was planning on adding maximum length stuff too later and ye the “?!-:;.,” etc characters too as well as space

correct me if that's not a bug, but pressing Enter anywhere seems to unhide the chat briefly (for example, when writing in the terminal) which I think is not the intended behavior

lil update, @red oyster found the reason for me it seems like so this will be solved in the next update^^ (just tested rq and i seem to have 135~ fps now on experimentation) but I'll still go around looking for some optimizations

hey, when gambling all my scrap at the casino (lethalcasino mod) i noticed that when a scrap's value changes and i have the option to see the scrap values in the hotbar enabled, it updates only when i focus on a slot, would it be realistically feasible to make it more real time?
I can't test it right now but I'm wondering if this mod is what's been spamming the chat with these logs

There are just a few issues regarding scrap prices in the inventory
specially having the hotbarplus mod
I know the key use makes the price disappear? but what else?

- the aloe makes you drop all your items, but the prices stay
- using the shredder in oxyde consumes the item, but the price stay

how to get the config file? i start the game but i only have the hud license
Its global config by default. Default it can only be accessed ingame with lethalconfig. You can change the setting in bootstrap.cfg to make it appear in a mod manager, but then it will apply all changes to everyone who uses the pack

There are 2 different configs, I have a description in the readme why, one is the basic one but it depends on the other one as that dictates how this main one is generated and the other is to switch between local or global.
Local - config generates the same way as most mods
Global - config persists through different modpacks as it can only be changed by you only, its in a seperate folder which is mentioned in the readme where its located exactly
