When i resurrect a monster a use code from vanilla RoundManager class, this function will add the resurrected enemy to the SpawnedEnemies list and idk what zeekers is doing with that list but it's very possible that it's used to calculate the actual power level
So really, the only time when the power is open is between the kill and the resurrection, which is something that i wanted because it's fun

My mod replaces the Loadstone loading sound clip from the ship with different music depending on the weather
As of right now, when it detects combined weather, it picks randomly between the associated weathers, but i am just manually naming every one 
since its all done through SoundAPI

The code i shared will def not work for progressing weather as it will only detect the first weather unfortunately, you'll need to do something else to get the progressing weathers but imo the first one is fine
The goal of the code is for you to have combined weathers detected without a need to check for the name cause the name can be anything and you don't know what weathers will run in the background
You can still check the name if you want i guess for specific ones

Easy: No Eclipsed spawn cycle

And during the special Moon Tear Shower event (which is 1% chance of happening each time there is a Majora Moon), the timer is bstill 60s initially then between 3s and 6s at a chance of 80%, it will try to spawn using this chance at a maximum of 8 times then it will go back to the normal mode, marking the end of the tears shower
so that's how lunarlights moon feels at 1 PM on none weather

If the node is far enough, that animation ends before they get to the node
when they stand still, they dont have their head raised
and in the case of the ship door blocking them from reaching the noise to investigate the area, they do temporarily keep their head down until the door opens again
but for one, the dog wasnt even stuck at the door, it was moving
I could be completely wrong but im like 90% i've seen that happen
and they raise their head again very fast

And second i think i found a way to nerf the nutcracker heres my idea
When the blood moon is active nutcrackers that dies will never spawn shells
And for the shotgun, the very first nutcracker killed (globally) during the weather will have the gun grabbabled as usual but also it will be fully charged no matter how many shots there was left in there
But every other subsequent nutcrackers killed after this first one will have their gun despawned before you can grab it

the reason is to avoid a situation where you can kill every nutcracker indefinitely
Imagine you already have a shotgun, then you kill the nutcracker, shells will spawn, which allows you to reload the gun and to kill the next one
and same thing for the next one, and so on
but if you dont get the gun then it isnt an issue
youre just instantly removing the resurrected nutcracker
and its not like there isnt a price to pay for doing this constantly
The goal is still to reward the player just like in the vanilla game, i dont want to remove the gun completely because it's just like if i was to remove a part of the enemy behavior
With my idea you can have 1 shotgun per blood moon where you kill a nutcracker, and this shotgun will have 2 shells and thats it, no more

so after analyzing this place, it seems there is no navmesh on the bottom
But there is navmesh right here and i tested droping some items here

oh yea dw I didn't have it happen since

Set it to 30, the max, and they still resurrrect within 10 seconds

hmhm it was a bit difficult to understand at first but in the end it was very easy to patch so its fine
Ok so i tried looking into that and heres what i found
- these kind of fogs are called Local volumetric fog, and im technically not nuking any of that
- the volume of the Blood Moon is just being rendered on top of it and so you can't see it
- the only way for me to ""fix"" that is to turn off the override for the volumetric fog of the Blood Moon, this will make these local fog visible again but at the cost of having strange place where these fogs will try to blend with the weather's fog + all the interior will be darker than usual
this situation is explained in the doc i wrote in the page 4, thats the exact same problem
What i can do however is maybe to turn off this override when the player is inside, while having the same unchanged when the player is outside? This will improve the situation that i describe in the doc but the interior visual will, again, still be darker than usual among misc other issues that you'll see for yourself, so everything coming together (lol) is not possible
So heres what i propose
In the next update nothing concerning that will be changed but heres a beta, in this dll the override is turned off and everyone that wants to test if this looks good or not are able to just grab it and report if they like it or not (including you if possible)
To test better, grab imperium and go to experimentation, then find a Steam valve and let it pop (or make it pop with imperium) and see if you like what you see
And also still in the dungeon, see how the overall red volume is behaving when you are close to light sources, you'll see stuff that i didnt want to have such as the volumetric fog affecting lights
With this one, the outside of some moons will look very bad for example experimentation but more importantly rend and dine, you will see the sky flashing back and forth in luminosity du to the local vanilla fog trying to blend in, just like i explained in the doc
I really cant explain better besides making a video, but imo thats not worth my time
And again sorry for this other big boy of a text, im trying to explain this the best i can but it's really hard to explain it without entering too much in the technical stuff

True I only brought it up that one day cus a couple of people we were playing with had asked me why it was nuking fog and I was like "Idk ask Zigzag" lol I at least think with Blood Moon it doesn't look bad tbh, in contrast it's weird when getting Majora Moon cus every moon becomes this bright pinkish color with no fog, the much darker red visuals of Blood Moon contrast way better and make the fog removal less drastic
But you can just not use Majora Moon if you dislike it so it's fine
I did check out the doc finally and some of the Rend hybrids did look kinda cool but I see why you dislike it as well lol, the main thing I just want is to somehow avoid interiors getting affected during the weather since for some reason Rubber Rooms became very laggy when it's fog was removed which should theoretically be possible. I thought it was possible to seperate Interiors from being affected but I could be wrong
plus a lack of thick fog on Majora moon makes it a lot better because I don't wanna be running through silent hill fog when the moon is about to crash into the map

The beta i send is not a complete re-enable of fog but it's kind of an hybrid, just play inside and try to spot the difference there is quite a few

mechanically they are very similar
but both games play in such a specific way that theyre very different
and i never really considered eclipsed as just "this is like blood moon in terraria"

actually you can turn off the eclipsed spawn cycle in the config
the weather has 3 difficulty settings
easy does what i just said
normal has the moons regular eclipsed spawn cycle
and hard just adds one monster to the cycle
what it additionally does is make monsters resurrect after being killed
the default time is 10 seconds
and any killed monster (note: not destroyed) will make a blood stone spawn somewhere nearby the corpse
