Worked fine the first time, then got out and loaded in and it broke
I haven't used Weather Tweaks in a long time
Didnt seem to follow me, it just spawned at my feet
I used to run it at one point
There's a lot that this mod does along with it and LethalElements, it's very interesting
Well it's not that it follows or spawns anywhere near you, its just that it usually pathfinds by going to random places on the moon but I allowed it to use fire exits by accident
It technically spawns on the center of the map that it could find, not including the interior

why does majora superstorm doesnt have flooded?
i didnt include toxic smog cause at the time it was not working well, black fog and blue were not released so no included, there was graphical issues with blizzard so i decided to not include it, foggy was not added because it just does not work with Majora active, and flooded i did not include because i dont like flooded ๐

At the time i asked voxx if there was a solution but they said the solution could be to make it rendered after the sun, but there will be no effect applied to it (fog, etc)

This happens because the sun is just a 2d texture very high in the sky in vanilla gameplay, and it follows the player at all times so you think its in the sky box but in reality its not

Yeah beta only, also, this event is adapted based on your installed weather mods so more are added if you have more weather mods installed, but LethalElementsBeta is required because it's the base

Ah yeah fair, with 2 Story + Wider you really need navmesh regen for some moons, and on top of that for certain moons like Trite the building does crash into the ship
I don't mind it personally since moments like that are few and far between but yeah
I wasn't a huge fan of the look at first but it grew on me the extra space is nice

I'm not sure, this was my first weather so I received a lot of help from Mrov (I found a lot of wr issues during development) and from Voxx for some unity stuff
I think I'm gonna say the hardest was to create the formula to make the moon fall with the moon's clock, it's not hard to do but it's hard to make it look good, it depends on the actual moon you are on and it was a bit hard for me to figure at what was a good altitude for the moon to have all events look good during the game

Good news, Ive mad a lot of progress recently and done a lot of coding for various things (prob a little too much for the same commit but heh i was speedy ๐ณ )

The code is probably 90% finished and I still need to add another animation in unity but it shouldnt be hard!
After that, the rest will be testing events in multiplayer with my fellow @queen flare , and then updating the readme / images / icon

Ok, one day later and it seems that FixPluginTypeSerialization is finally working (at least from my testings)
This means I can update the mod to work on v73, but I know a lot of people are staying on v72 for some time, so what do you guys think it's better : Blood Moon v73 only or Blood Moon v73 + a temporary plugin for v72 ?
Probably the 2nd option might take a longer while 
Just don't use the new rpc's and blood moon will be compatible with both v73 and v72

I tested a v73 build (updated with the new netcode patcher), it was working in v73 but not in v72 so it's not totally backwards compatible ?

I was working on some basic integration between Blood Moon and Forsaken (the resulting effect is absolutely terrifying btw) and I already found some issues
Not about the combined weather effect, but about Forsaken alone, I think wesley might need to fix some things primarily related to the weather being activated and destroyed at any time and not just when the ship is landing/leaving lol
I tried spawning Forsaken mid-game, the rain was there but no trace of blood on the terrain, no background music and also no thunder noise in the sky
I think those are all applied only when the ship is landing, which is a shame
Ah yes i almost forgot, when Forsaken is spawned naturally when the ship is landing (so this time a normal situation if you want), then if you destroy the weather mid-game all will be removed except for the thunder noises in the sky
Actually I think i also broke Blackout weather for the very same reason lol but let's all pretend that did not happen or else mrov will be like ๐ ๐ lmao

I added Forsaken mid-game as a combined weather using code from WeatherRegistry
I did the same with Snowfall a while back and voxx needed to add some code to destroy things when the weather is destroyed via WeatherRegistry
If im not mistaken it should be the exact same with Forsaken, or else i dont know whats going on

The issues it has are: you should be able to drop the mask when you have 3 empty slots in your inv (so basically clear inv besides the mask)
This doesnt work
It doesnt let you drop it most of the time, and the only way to get it off is to put it on the cupboard
And the other issue is that it also changes the value of the masks, to compensate for the difficulty increase, usually masks are 30-60 credits aprox, and with this mod it was able to have them at 90-120 credits
Also with config options for how much you wanted the min and max
Thing is, it doesnt actually work, the price is the same as vanilla

Like instead of doing a specific patch to specific places of the vanilla Mask item code, he instead recreated an entire network object and attached it to the mask which is very strange to do imo
Like the haunted behavior of the Majora Mask is like 50 lines of code if you dont count the variables and other declaration
This guy made multiple files and a lot of other things that imo i think it's not needed

so... what fucks up with the ocarina and majora moon atm?
The ocarina song "oath to order" will work as expected when you play it during the right conditions and Majora will be destroyed as expected
But then if certain effects are triggered (time shifts on Recede, playing the Song of time, or a spawn of a combined weathers) then Majora will come back and procede to do an instant crash on the planet, killing all players
I was wondering too, can't really test cuz I'm not at my pc but, if a moon were to start you off at 6pm would the moon instantly crash down and kill you?
How come majora moon is based on what time it is on the moon and not how long its been active for?

If this is real and the moon has been created correctly (there is some vanilla fields that needs to be set correctly when those kinds of time effects are happening), then Majora will have no issues
And it will procede as usual giving you some time before the crash

Well, the technical issue is that when I destroy Majora using code from Registery something is not properly done in the background and Registery is respawning the weather at a time where it's not supposed to be
And the strange thing is that Majora has kept all of the fields values when it was destroyed so when it's respawned its considering that the time has come to just explode because it's been x minutes since the crash should have already happened
Thus yes i blame Registery becasue this was not an issue in a previous version but now it is
I use a mod sometimes called VersionNine that reworks how time and quota works so that each moon has a different "time zone". it's reaaally hard to explain LOL

If Majora spawns at 6pm (18:00) when the ship is landing on the moon, then it will calculate what is the time of the crash based on the current time and the vanilla TimeOfDay fields so it should work

When im saying "destroy majora" it means this
First I call the code from Registery to remove the weather, this will make Registery disable the weather so OnDisable is run
OnDisable will despawn MajoraMoon so OnDestroy is run
But something in Registery is preventing this to work properly

And rn it's enabling a weather that is supposed to be gone because EffectEnable = false is supposed to make WorldObject?.SetActive(false) and _effectEnabled = false, which should be ennough to prevent it to being reactivated unless someone does it manually

There is some things like sky color and volume fog that will not be exactly how I want if the fog is present, there is some values that needs to be edited after the weather has been spawned to have it just like I want

I got hired for a new job and i'll start next month. I'm really happy because I wanted that since last year but this means that I will be less available to work on my mods.
I'll still try to maintain everything but any next releases will be done slower due to my future lack of free time. I still have a lot of things i want to do like adding more weathers, working with the Biodiversity team, maintaining my stuff or even upgrade the SSS (asides from my other personal projects unrelated to modding).
However I'll not be able to complete everything as fast as before (and I was already working slowly lmao). But I don't intend to leave the community any time soon and I'm not searching for anyone to work on my mods while I can't. It's just a way for me to warn players that my personal situation is changing.

I've never really had issues with the no fog part because 1/ I'm not a huge fog fan and 2/ it changes the look of the moon as you know it which is kinda creepy in itself and adds to the vibe uncanney valley style
tbh i didnt bother, since i use better fog,to reduce this ridiculous and massive fog by 70%

.DisableEffect() is even worse than EffectEnabled = false because the weather was still present and nothing got despawned
.DisableEffect(permanent: true) did not work either, it did the exact same effect as EffectEnabled = false which is not expected because of the weather respawn that WILL happen during specific effects like time shifts and weather combos
Im too lazy to check earlier version of WR but i can assure you it was working before
