I think in embrion's case the elevated entrance (vanilla/assurance entrance) makes sense because the surface of the moon is suuuuper hot, so naturally the people who built the facility there would probably want to be a little off the ground

adding whips was just an insane upgrade
abigail is a really good early hardmode summon to pair with the firecracker, esp after it gets scaled up during that part of the game
then making tiki armor benefit whips too to make it stand out more

yeah they're literally the main draw of whips basically
durendal gives a flat swing speed increase which you can swap between with using a strong but slow whip like the one you get at the dungeon

tbf summoner was added way after launch and they've had to continue supporting every class or people will complain their main doesnt get new toys
there's also two whips that have special effects on summon-hit
like the firecracker and such
summoner will probably always be behind in that regard
throwing got choked out by lack of content and time to develop it into anything beyond some pre-hardmode sets
summoner is at least holding on better than that but it is definitely apparent melee gets the most work and additional content of any class
I get where you're coming from but I don't think summoner is lacking in any way currently aside from like, side-grades

ive beaten the game on expert with summoner plenty of times its just kinda boring to me
melee has like a stark contrast in quality imo

those should've been made into throwing class weapons

tbf i mainly play magic and magic is not hurting for choice
so it's not exactly my spot to complain
magic is so varied (post skeletron) which is cool
I like a lot of magic's choices a ton and they have some of the most unique weapons in the game

I really don’t like how melee class was executed. After hardmode basically every melee weapon is long range to a degree. There’s no real way to circumvent it for players or redigit either because all of the hardmode bosses require more distancing. If the ranged melee attacks were removed melee would have a massive difficulty spike in hardmode.
Just makes ranger and mage feel a little redundant when melee has more defence and doesn’t need ammo/mana.
It doesn’t matter as much since terraria isn’t a competitive online game based on classes or anything. In your own solo world or with a group of friends you can play whatever class you want for fun. It’s just there’s a clear imbalance.

the artifice fire exit on the roof might be cool to have a ladder hanging down the side
one that lets you climb down safe but not go back up
or you could use an extension ladder to bridge the gap
you can get down without taking fall damage

Second highest I have even seen is Ganimedes at 3, and that moon has 4 fire exits and jewel scrap worth hundreds of credits

Telling a story with moon names is also hard, you have to be really picky, and either hide moons or be forced to add moons in groups of 3
It's probably the biggest factor in why I don't branch out in moons now
