lights are more warm, carpet is more blueish to compensate, and is less desaturated. Metal beams are now a flat texture and no longer have the odd warping effect, and the walls have a new more detailed and clearly damage concrete.

ill explain the entire “star eater” line

#

basically, solitude is a planet that specializes in the production of fuel, recreational vehicles and ships, however sometimes they did some shady side business for small militaries.

#

they also heavily exported goods to a planet in an adjacent system known as “idol”

#

idol was basically a normal, small but earth like planet with a ton of cities, however it suffered from rampant crime and violence due to its poor law enforcement. Solitude sort of fueled this violence with its exports by importing illegal ships, cars and sometimes weaponry.

#

Idol originally had 2 suns until suddenly, one day one of the suns mysteriously disappeared

#

this caused the planet to become frozen and relatively uninhabitable forcing all the people and criminals to flee the planet and their homes

#

zero space experts could explain the incident, and most people simply referred to it as an act of god, or divine intervention, punishing those living on the planet for their crimes

#

by putting it into an eternal winter

#

this obviously is not the case

#

basically you find the hideout of a madman conspirator who believes there is a celestial creature out there that is so unfathomably large that it can feed off of stars

#

This then leads you to canvas, a planet that appears to be the site of ancient rituals and frequent eclipses. The moon changes during eclipses and reveals that the “star eater” is indeed real

#

so that leads you to viscera; the start eating planet

#

comprised entirely of organic, almost human-like flesh and bone it slowly drifts around the galaxy sucking the energy out of stars

#

every couple years it exits its dormant state and does this

#

completely wiping stars off the face of the universe

#

throwing off the balance of entire solar systems

#

your final objective in this “journey” is to travel to the planets core and kill it

#

to save the future galaxy from more celestial disasters

#

a team of other people clearly were there before yoy

#

a base is set up, covered in twisting gore and veins

#

by going through the facility and accessing a fire exit via inside you can ride an old elevator into the planets core

#

inside you find the “brains” of the organism, a sentient living creature sorta like the flesh panopticon from ultrakill

#

using leftover equipment from the previous explorers you kill it and are tasked with escaping the moon before it dies and explodes due to no longer holding in the energy of all the stars it has devoured

these helpful guys are modified nutcrackers created for the vehicle hangar company to assist hangar employees with lights incase of an outage! They are much taller than their nutcracker counterpart, and move slower as a result. Their secondary purpose is to serve as a nightguard and to take care of intruders.
