you can't change a moons tags but you can make lists based off of moon tags
ie just ask for tags on the config
so if you enter "volcanic, canyon" in the hot config
it would apply to moons with the volcanic and canyon tag
vice versa for ice

I can't seem to get Storage Complex to load as an interior?
I've deleted the config for LethalLevelLoader and regenerated it, and it doesn't auto-generate Storage Complex as a possible interior in the listing. Even when using my old Config for it, setting its weights to 99999 on Experimentation and Assurance just gives me Facility.
I was rebuilding my profile on r2modman to make sure I didn't have any deadweight dependencies from uninstalling mods, and thought at first it was because I was missing a mod that it made all custom interiors not load, but the spawn chances for the other two installed interiors work. the interior is slowly becoming a vehicle manufacturing and testing plant
hence the cruisers and spacecraft inside of it
and also the scrap grinders and mechanical presses that will exist

minus the cruisers theyd probably break cuz prominence is tilted

would it be fine now to start using veld corp as a faction in the modpack? especially since their logo is plastered on thalassic

offshoot of halden who continued to survive past the titan war up to near-modern times
and ofc incorporate whatever other lore you have planned
sucks that mantif is so buggy now

ive seen like 2 people complain about mantif being buggy should i remove it off my modpack
it worked mostly fine for me
buggy was the wrong word
unoptimized, file size is massive for what it has and the interior is balanced terribly
also ive had issues with the electric panels never damaging me
it really just need some polishing and balance changes
nothing specific prob just lost interest
yes, their (very summarized) lore is that they are a company focused on colonizing and making planets suitable for living or industrialization. They first did it with symbiosis, but it was too effective and the extreme speed at which factories were established on the moon killed alot of its wildlife and made it unsafe for constant use. They then discovered nephrite and kept it as a secret side-job where they mass mined the ore and sold it, but eventually something happened after the company went bankrupt (will be explained in the moons lore later when i incorporate the survival bunker part) anyways after symbiosis’s relative success they established veld corp on thallasic and began the veld project. They failed to do proper environmental checks on veld and everyone was slaughtered by monsters, so they had to file for bankruptcy because of the families suing them. This lead to the full abandonment of both veld and thallasic, with symbiosis becoming too polluted around the same time to continue operation. Just a week after filing for bankruptcy, some of the higher up employees at veld corp were determined to dig themselves out of the hole that was created by performing massive mining operations on nephrite. The extreme use of explosives and other mining tools resulted in a chemical reaction happening within the atmosphere of the planet itself, greatly increasing the rate of jade buildup, basically killing everyone over the course of the week because the jade growths had compromised their transport shuttles, no one knew where they were besides the veld corp executives who were facing time for basically causing everyone on veld to die due to not checking the planets saftey, so they all succumbed to a slow and painful death as the jade filled their lungs with crystals (and eventually coated them entirely)
and so every single planet veld corp had inhabited was abandoned
either everyone there died or they couldnt afford to maintain them or it became uninhabitable
i could possibly attribute hydro/maritopia and halation to their failings?
halation was infested with bugs (+ sitting next to two of the most dangerous gas giants in onyx) and hydro and maritopia were extremely flooded and overran with wildlife from the rising tide
similar to starlancer who set up their warehouses veld could be attributed to most of the "abandoned city" areas outside of milky way

me and generic literally talked about how hydro lore is pretty similar to veld corps endavours

i always wanted to implement the upturned birds as an enemy
they spawna and quickly find somewhere to nest, creating a patch of eggs
It'd be a cool enemy
disturbing this patch by touching them, yelling around them, or sprinting too close will cause them to burst releasing a couple tulip-snake like birds that pounce on you and peck you dealing minor damage before hopping off to retreat

for the 0-e interior, how will the temperatures change? one part is cold, other is hot? or changing when the apparatus is pulled?
i think beanie said earlier it was based on level tags
so tundra moons will automatically be cold and vice versa for volcanic/canyon tag
every other tag should get the normal ship hangar

also theres not really a way to do it currently without it being jank as shit

i think having half of it be cold and half of it be warm is a good middle ground if you do want a transition
how its gonna work is cold planets have the cold interior and when u pull the cooling core appy it begins to freeze over
and in the hot moons when you pull the heating core appy it starts to overheat
both result in a damaging fog descending
so u have to get out fast
nephrite: lacks a fauna section in the description. could maybe use a little more cover from old birds and some more spread out fire exits, but other than that seems fine

basically the moon has two sectors
sector A and sector B
sector A has a fucking intercontinental ballistic missile that you need to find an appy for to prep and fire
once fired u can see it explode in the distance
this unlocks sector B, which was guarded by a forcefield
and it is a giant war machine being prepared to take over adjacent planets
and you have to climb up it to get inside

Why do i have a funny feeling ill release the interior and it will perform horribly despite working fine in testing
so like uh funny thing, every single pillar / wall corner you see is doubled. They perfectly stack on top of each other, even though they dont neeeed to really. Does it impact performance though? Probably very little, because its only like 10-20 extra faces
i think in testing i had 110 fps i cant rember

it lowkey generated as bigger than titan on reign
now, by nature it will be naturally larger than 90% of interiors because its so open
you can see scrap from farther away, less places to get lost
so its gonna be pretty big
but it was insane before
just removed the doubled things then?
some tiles wouldnt have the wall corners then tho
but how are they doubled if they wouldn't have them if you removed them
they overlap
i cant remove them because the walls are all blockers
oh so two tiles have the same thing that intersect with one another when they generate together?
