So it seems like some mod is changing the exclude layers on the Pikmin's collision detection collider causing the pikmin to not detect when it has entered the whistles notice zone.
It's ReXuvination, while this mod does optimize collision detection (excluding layers reduces collision checks). It does it in a way that breaks LethalMin because it causes the pikmin's collider to ignore the notice zones.
I rushed to test exactly this mod

The VR compat most likely breaks with the LCVR 1.4.0 update because the VRSession class is moved to the LCVR.Managers namespace (was LCVR.Player). That should be the only thing 1.4.0 breaks.

it's the base chance for it to spawn, which is 45% or whatever that onion spawn config is set to

Hey I just wanted to say congratz on the full release! My friends used this mod back in one of the betas, and the stuttering caused by it was unbearable. The 1.0 release though is pretty buttery smooth, it really shows just how much work you've been putting into this! It's been very fun to play around with fully :)
That being said, there are two small issues we've noticed so far playing today. First one being for some reason, some people cannot throw pikmin regardless of using the default controls/rebinding it. In one person's case she could throw them just fine, but couldn't after we re-hosted the lobby.
The other issue was certain custom moons/interiors the Pikmin were unable to path through/carry items into the ship. I don't expect this to be really fixable on this mod's end, but is there any chance of allowing people to be able to pick up items pikmin are attempting to carry (like you can when there isn't enough on it to carry an item) so you can still get the item? So far if they get stuck we've had to either pester them off with Poltergeist or kill them (though I suppose using the whistle would work as well?)

it's fine, I just updated it a couple of hours ago. I did come across the same issue when testing with 4 players, if i'm right then it had to do with MoreCompany making the mod think it's in VRmode, it has been fixed in v1.0.1

yo, great update for lethalmin, i've been messing around with it in unity, and it's way less laggy and the onion spots now work. i was just wondering, how do i assign preferred pikmin types for item properties? i tried a blank references-type thing by naming a pikmin-type asset the appropriate name, but that appears to not work
there is currently no way to do that yet, but I'm planning on adding a feature to do that will allow that later on

pikmin seem very broken on the playzone interior, in terms of the main entrance atleast. it has an elevator similar to mineshaft, and enemies seem to automatically try to use it, but it's really buggy (pikmin stutter when going towards it, they constantly spam the button so sometimes can't escape the elevator before they send it back down)
not sure if these issues would have to be fixed on one side or both
have never played the playzone interior, didn't even know it had an elevator. It seems intersting so I might make a compat with it

The mineshaft can spawn rubble near the elevator. Sometimes this rubble blocks a path to the elevator, causing pikmin not to go to the elevator (even though it's closer). Not a huge deal, but can cause pikmin to willingly get themselves killed lol
This rubble can be jumped over by players

No, if the only path is blocked by rubble, they go to a fire exit

might be hard to do though because looking at itolib's code (The lib that playzone uses for the elevator) There is no good way of making it so the elevator ignores Pikmin. Because the lib straight up calls the detection client rpc before doing any checks with the filter so not sure what the use of the filter is just from looking at it.

Oh they were able to path into it and go up last time I tested it actually, but the elevator had to be at the bottom
I have a really jank way of getting enemies to request and go up the elevator
Pikmin mainly get stuck when they have to wait for the elevator to come down (after calling it), they don't attempt to re-calculate their path to main
I can filter Pikmin out from it entirely, but I could try get them to recalculate path once the elevator reaches the bottom
I essentially bait enemies into getting close with a NavMeshLink that goes all the way up, and then disable said NavMeshLink once they approach
Then when the elevator goes down, there's another one to get the elevator to go up
I'm on the PathfindingLib waiting room to solve elevator woes 
I don't really want Pikmin to use the elevator and instead just leave scrap in the elevator.
if you could just make the Pikmin not call the elevator then that would be great, and I can handle the pathing.

They just need to not call the elevator up when entering the elevator so their pathfinding won't get confused
The issue are the NavMeshLinks, I can't really turn those off specifically for Pikmin so they'll always be trying to path up them

I can handle all of it, if making them drop items in front of the elevator is the easiest solution. By just doing what I did for LC office and make Pikmin carry items to different parts of the map depending on which floor they are on.
I would still like it if Pikmin were filtered from calling the elevator because they do call the eleavtor when just following the player in the elevator

Less scrap spawn on march compared to the other high powered moons so there’s less chances for a purple/white onion to spawn
On the topic of onions: note you should have it so when you scan the onion item it tells you it’s color, it could help some colorblind folks. Thats actually why each Pikmin has something unique about them besides color.

FOR REAL BRO THE AMPUNT OF TIMES I GOT EXICTED BY A WHITE ONION JUST FOR IT TO BE A ROCK IS INSANE (I use Pikmin 3 models so the colors are a lot harder to see in the dark)

the challenge is that you need to grab the item without breaking it
if pikmin grab the item, there's no chance of you breaking it
piikmin often fall down ledges in pikmin
Pikmin falling and being hit by enemies, sure, but like... why? Why would you risk it instead of just putting it in the cart where it wont be broken

also why does disabling onion fusing not de-fuse ones already fused like they used to?

I assume Pikmins' NavMeshAgent's turned off during that, but I think EnemyAI.DoAIInterval() does some stuff that re-enables the agent and thus causes that to show up
Yeah pretty sure just calling agent.SetDestination() re-enables it, game just do that

The Winged Pikmin itself and it's NavMeshAgent are 2 sperate objects. The Winged Pikmin's position will just be set to it's nav mesh agent object with an offset on it's Y position so it can fly. It's NavMeshAgent object is invisible and (should) always be on the navmesh like other navmesh agent
