Most of the stuff that scare me in game are Bracken, Ambience, and Snare Fleas

Coil-Heads are less scary for me, even though they are fast, if you know there is one on the level, you know there is. But if theres a Bracken, it will retreat, and try to sneak up on you since there AI Is smart. You will forgot where they are.

Every Pikmin has their own color (that acts as its own type when you go to throw it) so that you have to tell which Pikmin's what by its features?

Make a greyscale version of the Pikmin textures then give em a random tint as they spawn. Or ask Unity to dye the base texture instead, it could probably do that?
Different slots (as in having a selectable Green, Orange, Teal Pikmin [they're all Reds]) would be harder, but there's a lot of infrastructure for making custom types already right? You could also blank out the selector, or only show the color of Pikmin you hold currently, that does sound simpler and brings a change that's more than "wacky colors".

That would generally be almost impossible without at least some overlap as LC uses almost every button on the controller for something. Now thinking about it I might have the same issue with VR controls

B to throw them? Maybe (I do have a question to get any of the other three basic types. Do you have to find the onion and then you unlock them and the seeds will start showing up or do you just find them inside and then later the onion
The seeds will spawn even if a type's onion is not collected.
This is just me thinking, progression wise don’t you think that could be overwhelming/a little broken?

(Included with LethalMin just means that the mod's dll is packaged with LethalMin meaning no extra downloads needed)
Personally, having it its own mod means less to download for those not using it

Haven't been active in lethal modding for a couple of months and the first thing I see when I look in here is this.

And yeah still pretty strange why Unity just dies when referencing LCVR since it's just a basic .netstandard 2.1 assembly (unless that's the reason?)
Worth it
A funny oversight with the whistles is that no matter how much you move the whistle, the zone position will go to where the camera is pointing and not the item. Because normally, you can't move the whistle independently from the camera. I made it so the zone's position is dependent on the camera's rotation and not the whistle's rotation for better accuracy. But in VR, you can move the item independently from the camera. (this will be fixed ofc)
Not sure, as LethalMin is also a .netstandard 2.1 assembly and unity doesn't crash when it's imported
For me it appears that all mods cause this issue (including LethalMin, the current one from TS that is), maybe Unity doesn't really appreciate disabling the "Validate References" option all that much (also it's causing the editor to straight up segfault on me)
have the whistle only activate when its near your mouth that way you can keep the camrea tracking and not have to reprogram how it works

"sneakily dont show up in the member list" is just a lie, you can ban them from your server using the ID because when you add the app to your server that is the ID of the bot that is added. What you are doing when you ban the ID is just preemptively banning the bot so they cant join the server if you invite them
and regarding the statement that it uses messages sent in the server to train the AI, that is also just incorrect (or at least not verifiably proved), as in the blogpost itself it states that it can only access images it was given to use via the edit with apps function, and that it does not train off of the images you give it
also this isnt an official partner with discord or anything, this is simply just a company saying that they released an app on discord through the directory, which means that their app could not do any more then any other discord app
(also this news is like 7 months old since this happened last november, no clue why it decided to pick up traction now)
🤷 I heard it from a peep in the security sector, so I usually trust them with these sorts of things
you can ban anyone preemptively from a server. that id is just the bots id so if you tried to add the app manually to the server you couldn't as they would be banned.

as the bracken stalks you, he takes your pikmin and moves them somewhere else. You don't notice as he muffles their tiny screams with his giant claws. By the time you do notice, your squad is in the single digits, leaving you near defenseless. in order to keep your pikmin from getting diddled by the bracken, you need to keep a close eye on your HUD so you can catch the bracken in the act of kidnapping your pikmin.
it would make the bracken appear more intelligent and aware of the pikmin as normally as soon as he kills you he gets clapped by the pikmin you had.
with this it would seem like he's moving the pikmin out of the way so he can secure the kill
to prevent the pikmin that he kidnapped from fighting back he could turn them back into a sprout or something idk

V70 Fixed a bug in LethalMin for me. If a player were to use the PluckAPhone on a sprout that was being plucked, the player plucking the sprout would get softlocked because the sprout's interact trigger didn't cancel the plucking animation. But now, Zeekers made it so Interact triggers automatically cancel whatever special animation the player is in when it get's destroyed.

Yes, because while the full version can convert beta custom types, it does not to a very good job and does lead to animations and some sounds not playing

The full version does update the Scriptable objects so some variables/references might go missing when updating.
The animation system has also been redone to make it easier for animations to be implemented. You no longer have to use a complex animator with a bunch of transitions, instead you would use the Pikmin Animation Pack scriptable object and Pikmin Animator Controller on the custom type models, so you just have to put the animations in an empty animator with no transitions needed.
