Idk what else to say. None of us touched them, and the message was spamming at a rate something camping them would be the only way so many spawned. We couldn't investigate cause of the fps drops. (As for me, I fell in the gloop so I was dead.)

I honestly don't know what could've killed them so quickly and counted as a player

i've always been irked by the simple eyes on these kinds of piranha-plant-esque creatures 
I personally think they look best either with no eyes (which is less original, common trope) or make the eyes seem like an actual part of the plant
Best idea i can think of is a flower head with an eye in the middle, like Hanami in JJK or something
Like, picture this below but inverted, with 1 maw and several smaller eye-flowers
The eyes positioned lower / in random positions also makes it look less goofy and more intimidating imo than 2 eyes just above

Hey everyone! What is the best way to fix the absence of wooden and metal crates after configuring moons in lunar config? I started using configs of LunarConfig recently to adjust spawn of entities and now we don't have any crates

when did you generate the configs from lunarconfig? i think if you regenerate them now it'll be fine (fixed like a couple weeks ago)
if not, you'll have to just apply the configs that are in coderebirth onto the lunarconfig configs

Noob question: what does it mean to regenerate configs? I hope it doesn't mean deleting them and generating new ones cuz I've spent 2 hours editing them to add some diversity to spawning of interiors and entities
some mod managers like gale have a button to reset a config entry to its default, idk if other than gale they do

the weights are 0 0 :p
basically a graph that goes from 0 to 1 in x and 0 to 0 in y (meaning 0 spawns)
ill try to get a fix out for that within dawnlib itself (which it depends on) but for now, you could edit those entries that you see

Asking for those interested, this isnt for normal gameplay, but were making devtools in the mod for our purposes, however is there anything people like modpack makers or people who review mods ect would like as test tools heres our current selection :
Devtools
- Debug stick : Able to cycle through hazards with Q and E, projects a hologram of where it will be placed, click to spawn hazard, Press R to remove all hazards, Rotate hazard with left and right arrow keys, Upd and down to lower or lift hazard
- Xubuck : click to buy denominator and get 999 coins, press R to reset coins to 0, Press Z to enter debt mode
- AutoGambler9000 : Click to unlock a random deco, R to unlock every deco/ship upgrade at once, Press Z to store all furniture and upgrades

We got tired of always using the shovel to slowly cycle hazards
- A tool to spawn crates/safes, and/or to do a "roll" for the drop on the moon, to test the loot and stuff
- Maybe a tool to see where Crates/Safes can spawn on a moon? Same for beartraps actually
- Some kind of "puppet" that enemies treat as a player, but you can move it around freely with the cursor, to test pathfinding / aggro radius / general behaviour of the enemy in a 3rd person perspective

I mean i installed the new version on a fresh instance, but ive got alot of instances where i have it
cuz i remember they were heavily lowered... Like some are hard capped by default like 3 max fans
i think the main issue is not the max cap but rather the fact theres so many different hazards
it isnt specific to code rebirth either: having a ton of hazard mods, even when tuned down alot, just results in a ton of hazards

I do get the crediting thing as being like an ever-growing problem that got out of hand, going back and going through all assets to find appropriate credit sounds pretty daunting when dealing with that much stuff
Doesn't justify it though, it'd just be nice if done at least for new future content

He probably just didn’t think it was necessary or didn’t want to credit people back then and now it’s nigh impossible to find every old model.
Still doesn’t stop him from crediting any new models used, but if he’s redoing the assets that’s atleast an effort.

No. We've been clear and adamant about this. The mod is meant to be one package, its easier for us to maintain the mod this way and also you can disable all the features and they wont effect loading times. So we see no need to split it apart.

its just not a maintainable thing to do
the main motivation of something like DawnLib existing and being so configurable is to support projects like this too

random thought, but it could be more fun to play around if it made like a super distinctive sound, and the outside enemy that was attacking made an analogous (and preferably loud as hell) sound, so it could be easily understood as the cause, especially if the spawn sound was global (like how the dropship echoes through the facility)

What exactly does the puppeteer do?
Grab players and create a voodoo puppet that follows them. That puppet if damaged or touched by enemies damages the player as well
The puppet can be kicked around to get it out of danger and you can kill the puppeteer
though only with enough skill

Oxyde is meant to be a different take on selling, with a high risk but high reward. We're planning on reworking it next update to keep things more interesting and fresh.

I feel like it being described as "a second company moon" doesn't really give a good idea of how it actually plays. I'm not sure how much I want to spoil about it, since you're new, so I'll put a few spoilers where I just say what you do here, in sections, but ||it's kind of like more working at a factory, instead of just selling||:
||to start, the cabin people are talking about, is to show you how you're supposed to process all your items into the new product, and what to do with the product.||
||You'll need to bring you scrap to a shredder, further from the cabin, and across the bridge. Alternatively, players can look around the map for a jimothy core, place (not drop) all the scrap inside an open safe near the ship, and then insert the core so all the loot is brought immediately, for them, into the shredder.||
||You then need to take the shredded scrap from where it was shot off and landed, into a compressor. Activating it will crush everything inside into a single compressed cube item, but will spawn more enemies. You can also non-shredded items inside, but will take longer, and spawn more enemies.||
||Then you need to bring the cube to the giant gun at one of the corners in the map. Ring the bell to call the chamber, place the cube(s) in, ring it again to bring it up. Then you return to the cabin, press a button in the monitor room, to launch the gun (will increase enemy spawns even more), and then you can leave the moon once it finishes selling.||

cause last I checked the flames don't really start far away from the oxidizer
I might be close to finding it, I only disabled 4 mods and it just started working again.

when disabled the oxidizer shoots out flames normally, but when it's enabled it will begin to shoot far away from the spot it's meant to be shooting from.
