If you want to do a decent amount of damage fast, the Tomahop is a good choice since it does double damage while jumping to avoid his attacks. Another good option is to use the Turbulence to basically 1-shot him.
Oxidizers are also really good at taking him out.
What beef is saying. Normal weapons like shovels are not enough, you can try to kite it but it is difficult. Otherwise ganging up on it is possible but the best way is advanced weaponry

Hey everyone! After lots of experimenting with modpacks I've come with a conclusion that you can't just put all the good mods in one pack. So, I've made a separate one for Code Rebirth. I want to ask for compatible good mods with Code Rebirth. Can anyone help me with that? I have all QOL mods already installed + mirage + more company
most things are compatible, code rebirth just aims to add more to the vanilla experience
its designed to compliment pretty much anything by adding generalized content
and by being highly configurable you can remove any part you dont like

Say...I was a moron, didn't want to try to understand hazard spawn curves, or both, and I wanted to decrease spawn weight overall for particular hazards much like enemy spawn weighting, what would be the best, "no brain" approach to accomplishing that? I'm looking at a lot of values here and I just want less cranes lmao
So, you see whenever the numbers are like, "Number1, Number2" with a comma separating them?
Number2 is how many of the thing spawn, rounded to nearest int, just lower that in general
Okay, so I could halve each of the many Number2s in each comma separation; so change lethal_company:vanilla - 0.00, 0.00;0.11, 0.07;0.22, 0.14 to lethal_company:vanilla - 0.00, 0.00;0.011, 0.035;0.22, 0.07
And commonality of cranes should be cut in half overall, if I do it for everything.

You can summon it using the guardsman phone item though, ||which is sold by the merchant on oxyde||
This is kind of what I did for my moon videos (the little clip that shows on the front monitor when you’re orbiting a moon). Imperium to set day/fly somewhere and get rid of HUD. Start recording, move around some, fly somewhere else, move some. Do it a few times and then just cut out me flying around and positioning myself (then compress the hell out of it).
I also used UnityExplorer to disable the AI of some entities for moon screenshots in the README

so long as wesley's tags or any moons tags are setup properly, each monster spawns on their preferred tags
stuff like peacekeeper with military or budling with desert/rocky/canyon
but defaults for other modded moons, especially for such a big bunch as wesley's is not in our interests

it doesnt spawn as scrap by default, its exclusive to ||Oxyde||, that might be why you arent seeing it

Now see, this is the kind of thing that I feel like should be explained in the config. The setting says only "Disable Merchant." One doesn't expect it to disable a whole lotta other things too
each section, if you disable the main thing, will disable the entire section
I didn't phrase that properly.
Or rather, I forgot to mention the detail that the ONLY setting for the Merchant is to disable/enable it. No other settings exist.
And it'd also be nice if it told you that disabling it would also prevent Guardsmen from spawning, and remove the ability to acquire other weapons such as the flamethrower.

No, I had it disabled for pretty much the entire time except for when I got back into LC modding, and re-enabled the new CR
since it uses a different system
Code Rebirth stuff appears on LQ easily
Items are self-explanatory, but the entities have some rather... quirky names.

I will say, I don't think it makes complete sense that disabling a Guardsman that sells you stuff should completely disable Guardsmen from appearing altogether.

the merchant sells the item that oftentimes summons guardsmen in the first place

one of the first concepts i saw for guardsman was next to/fighting an old bird
And I presumed that Guardsmen would be allied with the Old Birds, not the employees.

The reason disabling merchant disabled the guardsmen is because they literally share assets, id be duplicating so much (and also making the biggest config in the world by 100x what it is rn) if I separated every little thing
Merchant bundle includes the oxidiser and a bunch of other things, because that is where you find those items
And it's the only intended way to get those items
There is realistically no point in having the oxidiser enabled if the merchant isn't
The point of the merchant is to sell our special items. It makes coins special and worth getting.
I think the main issue though was getting and using coins was too clunky.
And such alot of our items are tied to him because he's the only way we wanted you to get those items

There is a cardboard box in vanilla. It has no prefab, but the item properties are there. LLL prunes it out iirc.
I remember having someone report that FlashlightToolLoader was breaking without LLL installed. Took me a bit to find the issue was that I was trying to access a nonexistent prefab and LLL just removed the item so I never encountered it in testing

Is that how it is for everyone? the coderebirth configs have everything preset but lunar just straight up overwrites them with the default curves (making them not spawn)

The only thing I could think of is if you generated your configs before like 0.7.7 of DawnLib ig but its still a lunar config issue if it keeps happening

A couple of suggestions if I may:
- Have you considered giving the coins on the ground their own radar icons? (Like players, entities, scrap, etc.)
- Is it possible to rig up the InfiniKey to work with other key-related mods on your end, or would the creator of such a mod (that adds the objects that need keys to work) have to do this on their end? (Such as Great Chests on Ganimedes which need keys to be opened, TurretKey to disable turrets with keys, or even allowing the use of the InfiniKey without having to swap to it with GeneralImprovements installed)
And another random suggestion I thought of with is being able to edit what stuff can appear in the Merchant's shop. Could be kinda neat...
first two could be considered, ill see if i can do anything, but being able to use infinikey without holding it or configuring merchant shop is probably or almost definitely a no
too much configuration in that, and there's a definitive intended experience, maybe another time or another feature that uses a similar system
