i’m making a catacombs interior, similar to tolians egypt one (i think it’s called tombs) but make it a little less egypt-y and more paris catacomb-y
so tighter spaces, darker areas, lots of bones and other things
also there’s going to be less common grand rooms which are very big rooms
then I think that texture should work well then

I decided to start texturing and lets just say it looks awesome right now
its hard to see with the grid lines but
theres a tile on the floor and the escalators have textures
first tile finished! all I need to do now is give the untextured walls a glass material in unity and then do the fine tuning stuff also in unity!
and the pillars are textured its just far away so you cant tell

I would suggest using Bezier curves and an array modifier for the metal coils inside

these bezier curves are hard to make circles with
getting more progress done with vending machine, used a circle with screw modifiers instead
so now you can see the spirals connect to each other now

Yeah probably what jacuj said, though I'd like to see the whole vending machine to really be able to tell for style. From just an optimization standpoint though, I agree, the springs could probably be yoinked altogether since they'll likely be obscured by snacks anyway
Lethal's style is very simplistic and low poly. Frankly what I did is still a bit overkill when compared to some of zeekers' stuff
Zeekers stuff is somehow over optimized in some areas and wildly un-optimized in others but man when it IS optimized it's REALLY optimized though half the time you wouldn't know just by looking.
It's kinda a wonder the way the game is built that it's almost it's own philosophy..........God that sounds pretentious but you get the point.

Bozo Ferris wheel's pretty much just a bunch of PlayerPhysicsRegions attached to the spinning wheel through PositionConstraints
Gotta make sure to eject the player when they reach the top/bottom, or else they'll keep following the physics region
I'd show pictures of how the Ferris wheel's set up but I have no power at the present moment

It's hard for me to say because I don't know if it has lights, if the lights are broken, and other things.

The first option will be better for that tight lc feel, while the second will be a better mall appearance but the downside is the open areas which will take away that tight feeling
i personally lean towards the second option, because I feel like the single mall tile is unrealistic while multiple mall tiles is better for realism yet takes a teeny tiny bit of immersion away

if we're considering this tile for example there could be a wide tile connecting to where those escalators are, and stores along the walls which i assume is the idea
the tiles that can connect there would just match the width of the room and branch out to whatever
some can have smaller doors on the sides that specifically connect with thinner tiles for variance, etc

As long as they feel correct walking through and are roughly the same size with a small margin of difference I think it should be fine. Most mods in design aren't exact or super precise and neither is the vanilla game really.

I would have thought having the largest and thus most popular stores at the bottom make most sense
It's because some malls their lower floor is below ground so architecturally it's easier to build bigger spaces on top then to do it in the bottom where you have to deal with ground and the foundation.
Some malls also start on the higher floor instead of the lower floor as well.
That's another reason
maybe they love money and would want customers to walk through the stores and have potential to see something that catches their eye, hence more money

So hallways connect to hallways, and the store spots can be set to connect to the small and large store tilesets respectively

Im thinking ill make an intersection, and then make a unique tile for main where its a variation of the intersection with a hallway already connected to it acting as "main entrance"
The same feeling as the mansion, where you enter this grand hallway that offshoots into smaller hallways that are coated in stores and advertisements

You could make it so in the Hallways the second floor on the connecting bit which connects to the store area ends and curves off to bathroom or maintenance like areas with the rest of the hallway being this big open area.

Top is the back area of the store tile that connects side to side floors (which would probably have stairs or escalators) and either side is it's own floor.
The bottom rounded parts would be where the hallway tile and store tile are cut but connected.
These corners are where a bathroom or maintenance door would be located like I mentioned earlier.
This would probably be for the top floor because it's up in the air and it's the floor that gets cut off from the hallway since the hallway has no second floor.
Bottom floor would just be flat and normal.

Actually carousel in store tile could make sense because it would be like a thing to keep kids busy while the parents shop.
In my mall it was kinda like that.
