Would love to see a new enemy that isn't a direct threat, but instead can infect a player with a werewolf style virus. The infected player would continue playing as normal until a certain time/event which would trigger the transformation phase at which time the player turns into an eyeless dog or an entirely new enemy type. Similar to the mask; this would make your own teammates a potential liability. Better check for bite marks!
