I decided to modify Summits spawns through LLL and oh my god.
Having an Old Bird active at the very start of the day there makes the place 10x more chaotic, it's terrifying having those things charge at you out from the snow. But also pretty fun trying to stealth around them with all the decor around.
May I know the values you used for this? I likely will rework weights and spawns on summit and this seems to be what I wanted to go for spawn-wise.
Oh sure, I just achieved it by doing this.
Since it has a spawn weight of 3, only one can spawn.
There is still the night time odds unchanged so there might be additional inactive ones still if you are (un)lucky
But you can probably keep the daytime powercount higher and just lower the Old Bird spawn weight so that there is only a chance at a daytime one.
Either way, day spawned ones are insta-active on landing

Hey, in the hoarding bugling bestiary entry the first line is "Hoarding Queens are very tiny..." and I was wondering if that is a mistake. They aren't the queen, right? Also, I can't seem to open the queen's entry. It just brings up the bugling one.
also, what is this hive thing? it seems it was a random decoration on Affliction and had an interaction prompt but didn't seem to do anything.

I wonder if the bestiary is only detecting the first word and ignoring the rest, that's why it only grabs the one. Not sure how to fix that though. I don't know much about the inner workings of the game, but I'm assuming this nest is kind of like the baboon hawk nest in terms of how it's created? If so, I swear that thing doesn't always show up even if the baboon hawks do. Not sure it'd make a difference, but it was eclipsed and the queen was outside when I encountered this hoarding nest.
Does anyone have some good weights for Summit? Working on rebalancing it but if people already have some working weights I could use those to speed up the process
Can't head over to Secret Labs. Any time I put in Secret Labs, or Secret It always brings me to sector-0. Is there any way to fix this than disabling or uninstalling any mods?

Are the "scenes" people were talking above refer to different level variations for each moon? If that is so, then I can confirm that they actually work on a clean install with LLL 1.2.4, both on Eve and Affliction.
However I can confirm that on both levels for Affliction almost no monsters spawn outside, I saw around 3-4 after ten visits. No locust swarms, no hoarding bugs, I did see an occasional tulip snake if that helps. Even at night there were only one dog and sometimes a baboon or a spider. Not sure if that scarcity is intended.
And on Eve I was unable to actually take the data pads. On Level1 it couldn't be taken whatsoever (pressing E didn't do anything) and on Level2 it gives an error in the log (see next msg).
Otherwise everything is fine, very good design of the moons! The huge planet in the sky around Affliction is amazing 😮
And on Sector-0 I think something is wrong, I get much lower fps than usual and there are errors being sent to the log non stop.

u could have an event do something like turning on a switch, and it checks at the end of the switch whether all the other switches are turned on, then it does whatever u want

If it's possible to make it similar to this pic, that would be the best case, but i know it's probably very troublesome with how this visual is implemented.
Otherwise I agree with the people above, the current one looks better for now imo (also it's texture now looks more vanilla-ish).
Maybe reuse this idea for another moon? Like in the sky above Eve a bit further away, but change the colour to light blue. Just spitballing here 😅

This is honestly beautiful. Affliction is in honestly one of the more vanilla-feely maps out there and I love that fact a lot. Do you have any plans on adding a music toggle to your moons? They sound great but the silence is much more in-line with LC's themes

imo both Auralis and Triskelion lose a bit of the vanilla feel due to the entrance being made to fit his warehouse interior
As for the secret moon it feels more like ||a glitch in the matrix than an actual location you'd fly to||

As in, load into the moon and then make a new save to repeat the process
I can trigger the same error by trying to load a save made with a big modpack (that includes this mod, if it's relevant), but on a clean profile only with Rosie's moons

The new updates to the moons are absolutely amazing by the way. Hoping that the Sector-0 interior gets an update soon too to fix some of the quirks it has, but I vastly prefer this newer reworked version of the map compared to the old one. The company voicelines clicking on and off on occasion are a really nice spooky touch!

It checks for something that isnt in the scene, breaking it. For some reason HDLC doesnt have an alternate check to fix that.
I dont really care for fixing it, its something HDLC shouldve had working from the start, but it may not be totally compatible with custom moons, esp ones that dont have the things it checks for

Create new hdrp/lit materials and add the albedo and normal textures to them.

Hello! So far ive been loving the Rosie's Moons but wanted to simply ask why HDLC messes with the level loading, causing it to be stuck at the "Random Seed" screen? I assume its not a RM issue but rather just HDLC being outdated as hell.

Increasing it. Fog i kept vanilla, while everything else was raised, specifically the Res and LOD
the exception it raises shows that it has something to do with the Fog changes though, despite me keeping it vanilla.

Alright so I loaded into Eve numerous times and I just couldn't get it to bug out and throw an error. I tried sticking to a save, making a new save each load, quitting on each load, consecutively loading into Eve, mixing between going to Affliction and Eve and I simply couldn't get it to break. Both scenes were loading properly and the only thing I got was this error when loading into affliction
I'll keep trying though and If I still don't get it I'll just make sure to remember to ask the host to send me their log file next time we will be playing
