Well if it was generally crossing the border then it would actually contain something NSFW. However the joke only beholds the word NSFW which translates to 'Not safe for work', which is a safe term used for themes revolving around that sector. The Tangle
A bracken variant that resides in pits under those jumps you have to make. You can only see their eyes down there, and shining a light on them doesn't illuminate anything. If they see you above them they will lash out with a vine and try to pull you down to eat you. If you stay above the Tangle for too long (standing on the bar or making the jump, maybe around 3 seconds) it'll grab you and pull you down into the pit, consuming you and preventing your team from teleporting you back. However, if you drop a scrap into the pit, it'll be occupied with that and will leave you alone for the rest of the day.
Doesn't really have a lot of physical traits, as you never really see it, but I envision it as a ball of viney tendrils (sorta like a tangela from pokemon) but with bracken legs and arms wrapped in vines, and glowing white eyes.
Once again, just an idea I had literally like an hour ago lol, feel free to add it if you would like ^^

THE HORNED HOUND:
A species of the Eyeless dog, this beast has several horns on its forehead to stab its prey. Whenever it hears something too suspicious, it lunges forward and attempts to stab it. Its horns can be broken off of it by hitting the hound enough times or by making it ram into a wall enough times. The horn drops as a relatively high-value item - but beware as the dog will become more annoyed than ever and will now lunge at every little thing.
this is a very nice idea but it defo would need tweaks tbh it looks simple but it's a harder thing to model, animate and code 😅

(the text below is a very prototype bestiary entry)
Sigurd’s Danger Level: 10%
Coil-gloves, also known as spring-boxers, are a subspecies of the coil-heads and appear to be mannequins with no head and springs with gloves for arms. Just like coil-heads, these creatures are presumed to be artificially made biological weapons, but any attempt to dissect or study them has led to the specimens self-destructing.
The coil-gloves appear to be stationary when observed, but when no one is directly watching them, they sprint towards a target, punching them with the gloves and knocking them far away.

Essentially, these guys deal ~15 damage and are mostly there to make your life annoying - they punch you back quite a bit (sometimes even making you take fall damage) which can prove deadly near landmines, turrets, enemies, etc. The coil-gloves try to punch you into said obstacles whenever possible and are especially deadly in the main entrance room as they will punch you straight into the ceiling fan (which you instantly die from as of v50).

Alright people, i have an idea for a game mechanic, but there are several entities i can attribute it to
Basically, an entity kidnaps you and drags you away like that one bracken mod.
Possible enemies:
The Businessman (butler variant)
A Butler, but with a suit, tie and briefcase. When a Businessman approaches, he does some kind of idle pose (not sure what it could be, maybe flipping through a checklist or just mopping the floor). However, when a player is left alone, the Businessman shoves the player into its briefcase and flees. The player can see a small sliver out of the briefcase, but other players will have no direct way to tell that you’re inside of it apart from hearing you.
The player’s voice will sound muffled just like when a Snare Flea latches onto you. The Businessman walks quickly, but slows down depending on how heavy you are (you DO retain all your items upon getting kidnapped, so with a couple shotgun shots you could blast the briefcase open or smth maybe idk).
The Businessman flees as far as it can from the capture scene before freeing you in order to kill you (with a knife or pistol, I’m not sure).
The Nettle (bracken variant)
The name “nettle” is a play of words - nettles are a plant, and this creature weaves a net out of vines to throw onto unsuspecting players and drag them away. Again, the speed at which a Nettle can drag you away depends on your weight since you do not drop your items upon getting caught - a couple knife swings and you’re free (but the Nettle will get angry and attack you). If you don’t escape or your fellow employees don’t free you, you are dragged to a faraway room and killed there.
Also maybe nutcracker variant:
The Cowboy
Lassos you to pull you closer to have a better chance of shooting you in the head with a revolver. The Cowboy uses a “”horse”” to get around, so be careful not to get trampled on (just like how a regular nutcracker can kick you, but not an instakill)

OKAY i was thinking about this idea and i came up with something
What of the businessman actually doesn’t have any method of killing you directly and he tries to dispose of the player through… “other” means?
The Bussinessman doesn’t want the other players to think that one of their fellow employees has been kidnapped, so they have “priority ratings” for the different ways to kill you - depending on the rating, the businessman is more or less likely to do that method of executing you (which btw kinda makes them assassins XD)
The ways a Businessman can kill you include:
- Throwing you into the Mansion fireplace (high priority, but only if said room is far enough from the last place it saw the other players - you die of burning)
- Throwing you into the main entrance fan (low priority, seeing as main is a pretty high-traffic area)
- Throwing you onto a landmine (very low priority, hearing something go BOOM will probably arouse suspicion in the other players)
- Throwing you under a spike trap (medium priority)
- Throwing you into the pits on the facility layouts (low priority, they dislike completely getting rid of your corpse)
- maybe a few others i haven’t thought of
The Bussinessman will avoid throwing you in front of other entities because they prefer to do the business themselves for reasons one can only speculate about.
The Nettle on the other hand just drags you to a faraway room, kills you and hangs the net from the ceiling or smth

a creature that attaches itself to the roof and dangles its rope like tongue above a peice of scrap
whenever someone tries to pick up the scap the creature will wrap its tongue around the neck of the player and hang them until they die
you can bait them by throwing eggs at its tongue or dropping a large heavy object under it
once it has something it will no longer be a threat

THE PHANTOM EXPRESS (ghost girl variant)
This train haunts a player just like the Ghost Girl, You can tell you've been haunted when you start hearing echoing train horns and rail thuds.
At one moment, the player hears a train horn quickly get louder and louder. A beam of light shoots out of a wall and rapidly glows larger as the train approaches. The player only has a few seconds to dodge out of the way before the express hurtles by, creating ghostly tracks beneath it and then going straight through a wall. The tracks fade quickly, and a player that is not haunted by the train will not see it or be affected by it. However, If a player gets hit by the train, they get decapitated (because it's a ghost enemy) and flung across the room.
Yunno how tulip snakes work like a wish.com jetpack? Well, the train would work as a wish.com inverse teleporter. There are ladders on the side of the train that you can cling onto as it rushes by, and when the train goes through the wall, you do so too.
You don't die, rather you take some minor damage as the train clips through the wall, and you don't get to see the entire layout of the facility because a thick black fog obscures your vision. If you let go of the train-ladders at this point, then yeah, you die and your corpse is unretrievable, lost forever (even the teleporter can't save it from whatever ethereal plane it got sent to).
You can hear distorted whistles and railroad crossing chimes and train noises. After a few seconds of this, the train clips back into a random location on the map. You can let go at this point and congrats! You've just appeared in a random location!
The train has a higher chance to appear when enemies are nearby, giving you a handy escape but also another obstacle to deal with.
(Also, like the girl, the train can spawn inside or outside. It can also make the ghost girl and bowler brain dissapear if the train runs them over - don't worry, they'll be back later in the round.)
i dont know how the "passing through the walls" would work, but i kinda like the idea of the light beam and it coming through every room in a straight line from that beam
its a bit of a ghost girl+earth leviatan thing from what i understand
as i said, idk how "doable" the stair and passing through the walls is
also, dont know how the light beam would work outdoors

I think it's a cool idea but the "grabbing a ladder as it passes by" mechanic sounds like it could be a lil janky if not done perfectly
it could either get you to your doom(no more rooms on the rails) or just plain bug the game out i think
spawn outside of map, make it ignore collision (or smth it's prolly much harder than that XD)

i think it'd be cool if instead of being an inside thing this was an outside only enemy, would provide some new methods of transportation while also achieving the inverse tp idea you had

mehhh if we're sticking to the "ghost girl variant" idea, portals seem kinda... too much
the train just disappearing would prolly be a lot more eerie
but from a technical standpoint, the game would tp you to some faraway out of bounds location right before u hot the wall (you're not actually gonna clip through it, only give the illusion of it doing so)

I think just a train that can run you over is a great idea, the ladder thing sounds insanely tricky and like it'd cause problems.
I could see it as something you could outlast for a period of time, dodging it each time it passes through where you are but it'd progressively get faster.
To make all that fair you'd have to give a player a decent warning before it passes through and it'd probably have to only ever cross perpendicular to the player. If it came from infront or behind it'd probably be real difficult to dodge and kill you most every time.
A good telegraph could be a set of rails shooting out in front of the player where it's about to come through.
It'd be tricky tweaking everything to be timed enough that it feels difficult to dodge but not unfair.

im thinking the train will give you a lot of warning signals: the ghostly tracks, the spotlight, the rapidly-approacing sfx- you'll for sure know it's coming
also i thought about it and realized that yeah, a ladder would be very tricky to implement. Instead, they could be 'fake' ladders - justs stuff that you can press 'E' to interact with. Once you do, you're repeatedly teleported to the location of the 'fake ladder', and since you're facing it, you can just press 'E' again to dismount
(btw i love the idea of it getting progressively faster as the day continues - maybe it'd be faster by an entire second or two by the time the day is over
i think the pitch at which the train's approaching sfx would play would be a hint as to how fast it is)

Mud Leech - a leech that spawns outside when there is mud. they are 3 players long, one player's head in width, and drag you into the mud with the claws on their mouth
- they take 3 shovel hits to kill
- the more that grab you the faster you get dragged in
- a max of 5 can span, and idk the power level
- they can travel from 1 mud pit too another
- if you move too much next to a mud pit they will grab you
- they are a variant of the big ass sand worm

aka im gonna steal this idea but put a couple twists on it
so: a snare flea variant
that latches onto a player (without obscuring their vision)
and then latches onto another one
effectively binding them together.
this snare flea's body would be quite long (about one and a half players long) so the players have a little bit of freedom to move around
that is an incredibly funny idea

baboon hawks get so much harder to dodge when you're fighting them with other people lol
and also the gameplay itself encourages splitting up

had to separate these entities into two messages.
Buemoch Astronaut```
Buemoch Astronauts are an aggressive offshoot of the Masked, created for unknown purposes. They appear in bulkier suits, reminiscent of NASA space suits, with a severely cracked visor. Protruding from where the head should be is a spear-like protrusion. They have a weak beam of light emitted from their chest, which reveals their location at night. Their movements are incredibly shaky, similar to a Silent Hill enemy.
Astronauts have 5 stages:

Astronauts will roam the outside in a sluggish pace, searching for any players. It acts like a slower Masked.
-
When spotting a player, it will slowly walking towards them. An internal timer will drain, which determines when they enter their next stage.
-
Astronauts will break into a violent sprint towards their target. If the player is caught, they will be grabbed, and the Astronaut will lift them up, before stabbing their head with their spear and ripping it off the players' body.
-
If an Astronaut successfully kills the player, or comes across the corpse of a player, it will obtain the head and hold it in its arms. It will then run towards the nearest Clockwork Satellite. If there are no Satellites, the Astronaut will throw the head away and return to Stage 1.

If Astronauts see a Forest Keeper or Baboon Hawk approach them, they will try to run away from them.

Astronauts despise being observed. If they are seen during Stage 3, they will instantly reset back to Stage 2. If seen during Stage 2, they are forced to stand still and their internal timer is reset.

They only target players.
Differences:
- Astronauts are almost always outside if one players is outside. If all players are inside, then the Astronaut will enter the facility.
- Astronauts only sprint if they reach Stage 3, and they will never run out of stamina.
- Astronauts cannot convert players.
- Astronauts CAN be attacked by Forest Giants.
- Astronauts display better vision and have significantly higher health than Masked.```
Clockwork Satellites```
The Clockwork Satellite is an autonomous, transforming weapon of war. It appears as a large complex sphere (or alternatively, a cube,) roughly the same height as a Forest Giant, upon landing, but when it enters Stage 2, it will transform into a robotic being very similar in design to the Old Birds, with the lower half replaced with a tank base with treads, and the gun replaced with an alternate design resembling a grenade launcher. Satellites will violently land on the Moon, spawning very similarly to a Nighttime monster.
Satellites have 4 stages:

Satellites will enter "Shuttle Mode," where upon landing, it will open a hatch, spawning a Buemoch Astronaut. A random internal timer will deplete, which determines when they enter Stage 2.

Satellites will transform and enter "Battle Mode", now wandering around the map. It will search for any living entities except the Old Bird.

When spotting a viable target, Satellites will play siren sounds and chase its target, keeping a distance away from them to prepare a Charge attack.

If an Astronaut approaches a Satellite with the head of a dead player, It will grab the head to examine, and then stash it away.

Satellites target players, Forest Keepers, Eyeless Dogs, Baboon Hawks and Tulip Snakes. They do not target Masked, unlike Old Birds.
Satellites have 3 attacks:

Charge: Satellites will accelerate towards their target, intending to collide with them.

If this hits a player, this attack deals 50 damage and knocks them back.

If this hits an entity, this attack deals 12 damage.

If this hits a wall, the Satellite will crash, dealing 10 damage (Players) or 1 damage (Entities)

Barrage: Satellites will fire grenades at their target. Compared to the Old Bird, they fire at a slower rate.

These function very similarly to the Old Birds' rockets in terms of damage and properties, and deal the same damage. Yes they set Forest Giants on fire.

The grenades are generally more accurate, but bounce.

Grab: Satellites will attempt a grab if the player is close.

If successful, they will pick up the player and inject them with a syringe-like object, which comes out of the barrel of their gun. This deals significant damage over time likewise to the Hygrodere and WILL guarantee death. It will let go of the corpse, which has been completely melted from the inside.
Differences:
- Satellites heavily prioritise Forest Keepers over any entity, excluding players. Keepers threaten the Satellites' Astronauts.
- Satellites cannot fly up into the air.
- Satellites CAN crush players by accident, whereas Old Birds will try to crush players sometimes whilst flying.```

I definitely like the concept of a ghost train enemy that attacks via charging through walls, not entirely sure about the discount inverse teleporter part tbh.
In a way it sounds like it would be very difficult to understand from the eyes of a gamer seeing this enemy for the first time, finding out that they can grab on, only to let go at a bad time and get killed for it.
