Hello, I have a question, do you already have a model made in Blender of any of those monsters?
Maybe if you have a model and the sounds there will be a greater chance that someone will want to help code the mod.
I can help with the sounds in a couple of weeks.
Perhaps the Loot Bug variants are the easiest to make in blender and code.

Its obviously the slimes, being blobs but in different colors
s1ckboy came up with a concept for a black slime variant with a weakpoint, enviromental interactions, etc
it interacts with valves and hides within gas clouds, you can jump on its head to kill it (its head is a dimly lit yellow core)
but like a normal hydrodere contact damage hurts you, so you gotta be precise with the jump

so we reduced it to a utility tool/weapon that's not that great in combat in the hands of players due to its reduced range, but great in the hands of an enemy
Okay because the naming of the Slimes are a bit more complicated than <word>-dere. It would be cool if we could stick to theme in that regard, because Hygrodere is a greek translation that means 'To get wet' if Masa recalls correctly. Could be cool if we played onto that in a thematic way for the variants

Functionally, the manic is just doing what we can do, which is open and close doors, as well as lock and unlock doors. Heck maybe the lock dagger could be used to lock doors when you have it in your hand. To permanently lock up certain creatures or dead ends with a unopened vent
only difference is the intangibility makes it so other people can't follow you through the doors you go through
I would only need a list of sounds for each one and I can search and mix them. Maybe I won't be able to do it this week or next week, but in April I will be able to do it.
nah i think locking doors would make it a bit too good, you'd just be able to lock any enemy behind a door if you're being chased

I think it should be the weapon of the greed god who is kind of like a midas but a god and was punished for overusing it by being exiled out of the olympus of this world, and then the god decided to create the golden planet so their followers can live on this paradise

The backgrounds for biodiversity would switch randomly between each monster's theme. Switching between them is already possible but the audio for each menu screens wouldn't switch right now. Thats something that we have to figure out if we would be working with loaforc's soundAPI somehow or Darkbrewery could implement it in the Emblem mod
if he really wants to make this he could try randomizing the themes for every category?

and we have a vulture-like manticoil variant which would also be affected by this
my main focus was originally enemy interaction, so a few of the worms and hoarding bugs interact a ton with other stuff

Currently in the Shattered Company modpack I have to use Locusts and Manticoils to get spawn weights for creatures low enough in the daytime. I would love to have other Fauna that matches thematically to cold,hot,oceanic,toxic,alien, and radioactive environments.
Penguins, crabs, scorpions, tiny toxic slimes, frogs, fireflies, birds, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, ... etc.
Things that just exist in the environment without being hostile, just goin about their business.
I will use it HEAVILY
we wont be coming up with non-variant creatures unfortunately
but we may be able to get some passive variants

read this pls: have a random (configurable) chance for Masked to spawn with/without their mask on. this comes with 2 other features: 1. Masked can wear Tragedy masks, (random for naturally spawned, fixed depending on if its the mask item that gets you.) and 2. if you get possessed by putting the mask on, the Masked it creates has a mask on, if you get turned by a Masked, whether or not you have a mask on depends on whether or not the mask that turned you had one on. (basically boils down to: random chance for masked to have masked on (configurable.) and masked can wear tragedy if you get possessed by a tragedy mask)

Defective dog/cyclog/seer (throwing names): was born with eyes but has bad hearing, can see fast moving targets and hunts them
(If infront of one gotta take it slow, but if your behind one your good to run)

||Like the Bracken, she has a favorite spot she'll take players to after theyโve been kidnapped.
Roaming phase:
ggggs will walk around their favorite spot out of boredom, not interacting with much, just sort of patrolling the place and backing away when encountering players. She is completely passive in this state.
Stalking phase:
P1: After a player has taken some damage (below 90%) she will start her stalking phase, where sheโll go around looking for the player thatโs been hurt and passively stalk them. If hit in this phase sheโll hit you back before running away until sheโs out of sight. She will resume stalking behavior after this. If the hit she delivers connects with you and you end up below 50%, sheโll hide and then go straight into P2
P2: Sheโll stalk you even more, trying to get closer to you and eventually grabbing you and taking you to her favorite spot to heal you. P2 only activates when an employee is below 40% or 50% health.
Healing phase:
Upon successfully stalking and kidnapping a player, the |||| will take them to her favorite spot, where she will sprout some petals on her face and body, then sit down and lay the player on her lap to then secrete a sort of healing fluid from her petals onto their injuries.
This process would heal an employee to full health.
You may force yourself out of this healing phase by holding E for a prolonged period of time or getting someone to interact with you as the gggg is running to its favorite spot or sitting down healing you.
If hit in this phase, sheโll run at the attacker and snap their neck, resuming the previous behavior (snatching the low health player then going on to heal them)
The gggg will continue to hold onto the healed player until they liberate themselves, are liberated by a player or are teleported out. This will trigger the Aggression phase.||
