Afaik shockwave deals 20 damage, I really don't wanna mess with damage anywhere cuz I feel it is perfect, all feedback I've received so far except this one has let me know that 20 is pretty good for a shockwave
If you're under the foot you don't get pushed away, you get insta killed, the toes probably push you but like, you want to let it insta kill you just for touching the feet? Get actually crushed and then you'd die
"get actually crushed" is crazy
Idk how else to say that getting pushed forward by the big toe is no reason to die
The death trigger is on the inner part of the bottom of the feet, which accounts for the employee being fully under the foot

it'll look a lil different and have its own interactions, but modelling, texturing, rigging, animating, and working out custom logic for a new enemy takes a long time lol

While this is valid I would still appreciate a config for it if possible as I personally feel that the redwood giant is rather easy and non-punishing to play around; this is probably intended to an extent given it eats giants for you lmao, but yeah. As for getting crushed, I re-tested and yeah you can get crushed, it's just harder for it to actually happen than I thought it was

part of the reason It might feel so weird is because the hand hitbox is huge lol
like that's fine if they're huge to the interior of the monster, but going outwards size might need to be reduced slightly

my main issue is just being able to be grabbed while you're at the side of the monster, but it also appears that if you get locked on the monster just doesn't stop until it grabs you so I suppose you're fucked either way lol

try regenerating config if you installed it like a week+ ig? or just increase the chance

While testing one of our body cameras on a stormy day a meteor hit the bay directly in front of me just as i sat down. The sound was insanely loud but only lasted for a second or two. Scary stuff, i was literally lost for words. Hopefully no boats were hit!

ah the sound is attached to the meteors individually, there probably wont be a ton of meteors going out at once until i can figure out how to make that configurable per moon

their first moon, Luna. lightning can strike inside. a common issue that can be ignored tho.
on Pechorsk (Castle), the ambience is loud and droning, and the ship is way too far from main
their latest moon, Zem, water is missing their textures, and main is also incredibly far from the ship. the difference from Pechorsk's case is it's structurally designed that way.
reason i fret over these so much is because theyre visually designed in a way where i want them to work. the fact that they dont itches me

yeah critical is 20 hp, so if you stay in range for all the hits while in critical injury you would die

for some reason in my modpack both driftwood and redwood never spawns, since 1 we all noticed we never saw any of them, then with chats commands, i checked the enemies list, and i noticed that they are both not appearing and when i try to spawn one of them, it just says ERR unknow
i will try to look for the reason tomorow of why it does that, because for now im too lazy and tired, but its very curious that this occured
i mean its white-red but i can see what you mean, i think its because of the dustcloud most moons have on them which gives a little yellowish/greenish tint to everything

redwood seemed to get stuck in its running animation after seeing a driftwood run away
ill look into it, it should just switch back to its old animation

they probably shouldn't target enemies that won't naturally fight back

Just an idea for a little rework to driftwood, make it so when it spots the player and begins to run down the player it will be locked in forward momentum for a bit so instead a b-linining straight towards the player its acts more like a bull by overshooting its target , giving a better chance at escaping
trynna imagine that, just doesnt feel like it would make sense, the scream is kind of the opportunity of escape the player gets
I love that it's hard to escape, especially since it doesnt kill you outright

exactly, that's the one reason I don't like normal forest giants, is that they are impossible to escape and just outright kill you
skill issue git gud i find theyre only difficult in large quantities. you eventually find ways around em. that being said, i recommend the FairGiants mod
I think you should rework the sounds for the scream of the Driftwood giant
It feels very small and underwhelming for what the enemy is

I wanted to tell you that the Driftwood is fantastic as is the Redwood, both are very interesting and greatly improved the moonshine experience.
Here is a video of my experience suffering in general just because I wanted to rescue my girlfriend's body.
On the other hand, this made me curious, is it intentional that the Driftwood doesn't let go of you even if you use a grenade?
Personally, I wish he would stop grabbing you when he suffers from stun.

I could make it so that itd also drop if it suffered x damage at once, like from a shotgun

I'll make it so that every like 5 damage dealt it lets go of any player it's holding if its holding any
But it'll be up to you to both stun and shovel it while it's grabbing you
