I'm just missing a tiny bit of animation, putting in sounds and finally more behaviour stuff
I mean luckily editing textures is a lot easier to go back and fix later than animations and the model itself

Reason this was a thing, trying to make the forest giant look at the pink giant while it's being eaten is stupidly difficult, not sure why my current method isn't working rn tbh
Fixing this comes with its huge downside, so I purposefully left it like this

okay so, lots of changes, I've made my own collision script so that collisions arent a problem
if your ship happens to fly to under his feet and you die, not my fault
i havent tried it cuz i uninstalled starlancer and other modded moons to play w this
but ac said the spawn weights were 0 across the board for "pink giant"
and then for vanilla moons it said 50 across the board
I'm not sure how I'd use lethal lib to add weight for modded moons π¦
it might just say there's no chances for them in modded moons

I am, it's working now but my problem is that when its sprinting, it needs to run the audio clip like 4 times more in teh same amount of time

loop works on playoneshot? if you want it to play back to back after it ends, maybe try setting the audio source's audio clip, and then use Play() instead

Audio only took 3 hours, and I probably did it in a weird way, @young crystal probably should've done it through animations considering that probably syncs it up easily
meanwhile I used an IEnumerator and a sync function with manual time inputs to sync the footstep sounds LOL

If I can just give one suggestion, maybe each footstep it takes causes a camera shake to near by player? I know there's already a built in function to make the camera shake but I'm not sure about how you could go about causing it to all near by players π
I could just check for all players in x range shake everytime the sound plays

Would there be some way to only have the RedWood Giant spawn after a Forest Keeper has already spawned? There's a couple moons that have a super low chance of a Forest Keeper spawning, so there's a high likelihood of a RedWood Giant being around than Forest Keepers

Perhaps the right one could pretend to be a tree, or maybe if he gets vary close he would rush but when he sees you from afar a coil head
And for the cactus giant perhaps he could roll, or have a charge attack, or perhaps hide underground only leaving cactus poking up waiting for his pray
those are the current basic ideas in mind yeah
not large enough for me to consider them the main mechanics
but they're probably what will be added alongside whatever else i think of
each one has their own movement characteristic too so its not just the same stable movement
that sounds like it would suck. the dogs would easily kill the hawks

shifted the hue a lil more towards orange, then decreased the saturation a little but increased the contrast to compensate
looks a little more like the terrain and actual redwood trees than its current state, tho i'm not design specialist so i'm sure others can come up with something better

i'm not fully set on that second image, but it's a little closer to what I had in mind

Textures looking meh has been a problem for a while, I'll play around a bit with it today, but I'm no expert, no idea what to change because clay isn't real feedback, and the person I was recommended to ask ghosted me in dms so

i think its jsut the fact that the texture looks flat cuz of a lack of color variation
like, if you look at the forest keeper's textures they have a loot of contrast between the shades of brown (or whatever the fuck that color is)

but I havent figured out exactly how to configure the spawn rates for each moon using lethal lib
