I think there's a chance for modded interiors to generate on each other, which is why I always assign only one modded interior to a moon
It's either that or in the config you have both interiors set to always spawn

coming back to this, i realized that the interior (?) that was merged into the actual interior was the backrooms. idk how that works so i just turned the backrooms off for now and that fixed it for me ๐

apparently that is an issue caused by warehouse interior (only when it spawns as interior tho)
We landed on Nyx first time and while searching for a fire exit we found several ways to go OOB
- Near the table and chairs you can crouch walk through the green fire place
- just before that roofed section you can jump over the rocks to the left
- opposite from the ship you can crouch walk through a narrowing in the rocks. I clipped through all the rocks, my friend got stuck there for good
Regarding fire exits no spoilers please ||even tho we didn't find one we still have a theory there are fire exits inside and they port you to one of the blue light locations||

Alright, here is an unrealistic bit of info for you to have, but I'll give it a shot. Outdoor map sizes? This would be used to calculate outdoor power density. It doesn't convert nicely from indoor sizes, but I'd assume... check the radius of a factory dungeon with a size multi of 1, find out how many units that is, then convert all map sizes in a similar manner?

Judging by terrain, the size will be large, but there's mostly nothing there
The logic is, look at March, its night spawn power of 12, and its insanely large map, then look at Titan, its night spawn power of 7, and its tiny map.
Being outside on Titan is going to be more dangerous than being outside on March simply because power density is higher.

literally take the pool of power and spread it evenly over the whole of a map to get the idea of "safety" per moon.
I feel that it's heavily influenced by quantity and density of ai nodes as well. Having a 1000x1000 moon doesn't matter much if the outer half doesn't have any AI nodes (perhaps due to mountains or the like on the edges)

In general, the permanent water pools on Lethal Company are functionally equivalent to bottomless pits in platformers. The only difference being, you do actually have a bit of time to be saved, either with a teleporter, or by sacrificing a ladder.

@faint topaz Hard crashed on your new moons budapest and crystallum. Installed LogNeuter, lesslogs and it seems to work! But here is the log after the crash if you want to look into it. Currently playing on v49

Can also give you another less obvious bug which i also assume is because it's a real early version. But on Crystallum the dropship lands behind or inside some houses and is really hard to get to
Crystallum also had a similair bug to budpest which is hardcrash on too. But that got resolved by this mods. Dunno if that can help in any way, but there you go

Either or, configs are dynamic iirc so itll just try and look for a moon name thats similar to what you are entering

the visuals are amazing on all those moons, but i think they lack alittle in the gameplay department. Most moons have just one way to reach the destination. Would like to see some parkour elements or something else

OOH just came up with another idea for the fireexit. Sorry that i'm just spewing out ideas and spaming. But like in the movie Indiana Jones have a ball fall down and roll after the player.
Like, the player goes out the fire exit. Then a sound cue comes and the player get notified that something is happening. Then they get to see the ball releasing just a few meters above them and now they have to run the opposite direction.
Altho i dunno how hard that will be for syncing with everyone in the lobby. Like Asteroid-13 lights is just client based and that is alittle annyoing
but that is maybe more of a LethalExpansion thing, i dunno

so one thing i noticed about the all in one pack. both loading to the main menu and loading to the lobby for the first time each lags the game significantly. only reason why i know it's this pack is while i'm looking at the log window while i wait, every few seconds one of the Tolian moons will load into place
when it comes to LLL, i know Rosie moons, sfDesat moons, and Starlancer moons don't do that individual insertion

I think all of these desynced interactions/map events are supposed to be resolved with moving to the new LLL
fyi since you guys were talking about updates and such. I think currently there are no outside spawns on some moons. Echoreach and Azure come to mind. I could be wrong though. Spawn curve says they should have spawned by 8-9pm but the only thing we saw was peepers (which have their own spawning logic afaik).

I left the facility through a fire exit and ended outside of the map
alrighty, tested Crystallum with Lunx. when we left the facility, the flashlights no longer worked. when the ship left without me, i crashed.

@calm bluff are you able to fix this? I noticed I had similar issues on Sector-0 where some items on the ship got culled and started turning invisible til I picked them up
the items sound like they're unrelated to this, but I would appreciate a video fo an instance where that happened, and any other information you can provide relating to that
there's a few reasons why that could happen, but it's likely to be some issue with custom items that I'll have to work around
They were vanilla items which makes it stranger, on Crystallum tools turned invisible like flashlights and shovels and stuff

I'll try to test the issue out, it may be that something is teleporting the player outside of the normal vanilla functions

I may have missed something when migrating the project to v50
it seems odd for this to break if you're using vanilla EntranceTeleports
trying to see if I can reproduce it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a combination of mods that's needed

@faint topaz looks like EntranceTeleport "EntranceTeleportA" on the inside points to the AudioReverbPreset.audioPresets index 1, "HangarAmbience" AudioReverbTrigger which contains a switchToAudio instance in the second index of its audioChanges array that has a null audio field
that's what's causing the sun to disappear after leaving the interior, as well as causing CullFactory to be unaware that the player has left the interior
that null deref is causing the teleportation code to never finish

I'll try it when I have time
I should be able to make a patch for CullFactory that works around this by checking the player position differently, but it won't solve the sun disappearing

Sounds good! It brought to light a flaw in my code though, I can modify this so it's a little more reliable in situations like this anyway

hi we tried to launch the azure moon
got stuck on an invisible plane as the ship was landing
probably that this is the upper plane that delimit the map and the ship is spawning above it or something

I've had that with EchoReach in multiplayer, all 4 of us entered the facility within 5 seconds and I'm the only one that died from fall damage apparently

Every time on Crystallum, whenever an enemy is near the main entrance they get stuck pathfinding towards the door. You can lead them away but as soon as they lose agro they go back to the door. We do have Starlancer's enemy escape opn, but this isn't the intended use so not sure which is the issue

In a sense. You just need more AI nodes near your entrance and it should resolve the issue

My friend who got Mansion desynced on Harloth said the moon they saw on the monitor was Spectralis before we landed

most important thing is always to see if you can reproduce it consistently, I don't know if Batby or anyone else is necessarily going to have an easy solution ready to throw out there
if an issue is able to be reproduced 100%, that usually makes it trivial to fix
if you encounter it, I would recommend noting the seed down and seeing if it happens again when overriding it to the same one

Crystallum has had a lot of issues unfortunately
that was when the issues started
My group played with my pack last night and we went to Orion for one quota and then CaltPrime for another and no one had any desync. No one joined mid game tho
So in your pack I would place my bets on Crystallum causing issues
i dont think it does if it still happened regardless of how all of us were there since the start
