What are yalls favorite moons to go to
Greenhouse can load with the dungen patch. It'll just take 1-5 mins to load the interior depending on your pc. Not recommended but hey if you want to its there.
(Not sure if you even need that with the new dungen update anyways? Haven't checked)

It has some of the best moons, and imo the best lore.
And some of the best side moons. Although I think you can get Alcatraz and Hyve elsewhere.

One of my friend's refuses to go inside before the door in the trap is lockpicked, but he's weird.
All activating the trap does is lighting the exterior up and allowing to steal the apparatus

I like the stuff, but it's a lot for just pickup games.

Lowkey I need to record more clips of stuff that's happened in the Wesley Interiors cause we have had so many golden moments in these places. The only one I really got is of my friend getting LAUNCHED by a Nutcracker kick with Toy Store + Interior Addons way back then.
I think Sewers is the least fun, on my end
I like it. I think the idea of an interior that fucks with your head and changes the rules around you is neat. Just takes a lot of learning though.
Greenhouse is a bit irritable too
Armory is really hard for my squad but I want to learn it so bad
My entire squad are all wusses tbf š
Greenhouse is fun too but if you get bad generation where the kazeibos are too far apart then it makes navigation a bit of a pain admittedly.

The teleporting space (rubber rooms (technically), void, whatever you want to call it) is my favorite part. It's the traps that I don't care for as much there. Even if there's counter play.
I didn't get to experience Sewers much before it broke but I did get to die to its apparatus/loot room gimmick first hand so that was a scary and fun. I like it's aesthetic though.

Oh! I've had the traps off for a long time.
Loot spawns in there
One time I panicked and, in my state, I forgot the baby hated going outside and could be soothed inside.
So I left with it, went back, left it inside. Fully my mistake, but it made the Sewers inescapable for my group. One tried to leave, got stopped by a thumper. Tried again, disembodied head. Tried one last time, maneater. All in those tight tunnels.
Iāve used it as a last ditch effort before
But itās so fucking dark it makes the cool idea behind it useless
Art Gallery + Lunar Config + Lasso Restored with some dungeon injection tweaks makes it fun to dodge the funny rope twizzler man as he is both after you physically and through the ceiling/paintings. 
Sometimes the face just spawns right on you when you enter and you die instantly
I love how much loot is in the gallery

Calist the falling towers are cool, the inconsistent parkour and old birds are not
I love Calist, Gloom, and Trite.
But if it is Asteroid-13, Alcatras, or Motra then I tend to prefer being ship duty... with a shovel.
Only because I have had horrible experiences with Masked camping our ship in the past (like, 4 of them at once) and on Asteroid-13 I tend to get sniped by Coil-Heads across the map way before I can hear their footsteps.
Plus the second fire exit nobody knows how to use
The towers feel cheap, but they're a consistent pattern and time.
Calist has a high learning curve.
Motra iād like more if the second fire exit wasnāt only usable with a jetpack

Rampart from LL is super fun in a group but probably terrible for solo. Still love it though, so it's only there if solo-only is included.

Maybe years of playing without flashlights just made me used to the dark. But I don't find Utril hard to navigate, the purple hued fog kind of helps highlight the path compared to the blacker ground.

I like Zenit a lot, but enemies keep getting caught underground, which ends up breaking vibes when the walls talk to you with Mirage. The bloom is appropriate. Snow blindness is a pretty big problem.

I adore Nightmare Moons but a lot of them seem more suited for groups than solo.

3k is pretty easy to get if you got a competent team or just know where to go when solo.
My favourite has to be Sanguine. I just love it.
And Argent is great as long as you have slower days, very atmospheric.
I've been messing with WeatherRegistry to make a whole bunch of reasons to go to bad weather. And Combined Weather Toolkit to make some even worse.

I like weathers. But I swear every time I try to configure weathers the game will find a way to break and put them where I don't want them. No matter how many whitelists and blacklists I do. I always gotta end up defining every individual moon that exists to ensure nothing slips. 
I want to make "Raining Cats and Dogs" just be rainy + Eclipsed + Feiopars + eyeless dogs in increased spawn rates. I think I can do that with Lunar Config?

Solar eclipse are the eclipses in the game. Lunar eclipses are when the Moon looks darkened/reddish.

Endless days only exist on the sunny side of tidelocked planets/moons and during summer on tilted planets like ours
Hurricane though makes using the cruiser nearly impossible, but only randomly.

I consider myself a good cruiser driver generally but there was a time where it was super foggy and I couldn't see five feet in front of me, while also being lost in a cluster of trees, and as soon as my friend told me to follow them he stumbled into a cliff and I drove off to my death.
Meanwhile him and my other buddy were screaming as they sloooowly slid down the slope.
Precipice is a long moon, iirc. Felt a bit too much. And it's blinding.

Last time with my group was a monumental mishap on Ultimatum, with the cruiser. Legit couldn't see shit, and it was on clear weather XD
I find cruiser themed moons to be better if you boost their loot spawn cap a bit (but also their moon power to make up for the extra loot)
That way you can actually come home with a good haul but still be under threat.
There's a moon pack that's all cruiser moons, and only one of them has a day length multiplier. It felt like all of them needed it.

Dejection is a really nice cruiser moon. Might be my favorite after Scallg. (Which admittedly was one of the first cruiser moons to come out and iirc doesn't even exist anymore. Rest in peace Scallg.)

For instance I made Demetrica only spawn Soul Devourers. Inside
well yeah, to be fair the point of a cruiser moons is to drive on them
although there is something to be said about how terribly the cruiser drives especially at speeds

I got outdoor power sent to 35 and 25 respectively for it, and it seems to be a nice balance after some spawnrate tweaks.

For some reason a lot of the entities stay on one side of the map though. They aren't locked to it, I think it's just a pathfinding node thing.
And I played the hell out of that moon!

i remember when it first came out and i spent ages trying to find fire-exit in my van, even went climbing up mountains (it turned out due to terramesh the fire exit was inacessible anyways)

although my van does not agree with the super steep slopes
have to go up them in first gear and the rear loading step loves to collide with shit haha
I have my pack setup so masks can leave fire escapes, so the usual problem of Cabal being inaccessible because of the horse right there is a bit less so.
They're just 0.5 power instead of 1 so more can spawn.

Too open, sightlines on mobs are too long, messes with lethal's claustrophobic element too much for me. I don't run vehicle hangar for the same reason.

Toy Store main entrance Tile has the allDoorways field filled, when it's supposed to be empty (LLL now clears such lists and warns ya about it)
Deep Sewer starting Tile (single Doorway to allow branch paths to generate) has OverrideAutomaticBounds enabled, with Tile bounds causing collision issues (I did add specific compat for it since it's a pretty trivial fix)

why is it even an option to have it filled when it breaks the interior 
(probably something that changed in the new dungen)

allDoorways, usedDoorways and stuff are filled at runtime, when the Dungeon's actually generating
Doorways that are already present in the allDoorways list do not get their Tile field set, so it was causing an error here

There is a longer loading time when you first land onto a moon you havent before in that session. Otherwise not really I think. Idk if it does anything for wesley's moons

i know this is off topic for the current thread but @desert jetty i noticed a lot of mods in the "starter pack plus" havent been updated in over a year. Are they fine to use with v81?

im curious what causes some mods to be fine without needing to be updated for v81. im assuming it just depends on what the mod actually changes. but is there any easy way to tell which mods need to be updated? @desert jetty
One of the big changes were on terrains, and dungeon generation, that means interiors specifically need to be rebuilt for v81 for them to work properly (without DunGenReferenceFix), moons would need it for parity and to fix the dungeon root. Cosmetics and scraps would need rebuilding too to fix a motion blur problem. Then mods that tweak the game's behaviour in a deeper level (tweaks, APIs) they needed to be recompiled and fixed for v81

Yeah, that's because of vanilla's "loadstone" but I do think Wesley is working to fix that
the rest of the interiors work fine (i recommend disabling wesleys mineshaft because water asset restorer will pull the wrong shader rn)

Yeah, MARC has the issue but you can get rid of it and downgrade WAR and itāll be fine. Iāve fixed it on my end but Iām trying to get something else fixed before doing an update
It's fixed. At least, this particular issue is. The other thing I'm putting off for a later patch. It's not going smoothly and this has gone unresolved long enough and just been sitting done and waiting for upload.

||uh, dunno if you already tried this by now, you should usually be able to find a way out by walking around. That said, I have heard some people had a bug where the way out didn't show up for them. I haven't experienced it yet||

it's a premade modpack for v73 for wesley's moons playthroughs
so everything is already downpatched
so i shouldnt be having any issues in theory
disabling terminal reformatter allows me to type 'moons' but there are just the vanilla moons there. I've never played this so isnt galetry supposed to be there as well?
Maybe Wesway is broken. I took a look at it and i cant recognise multiple of the mods.

did you add any mod on top of the ones there?
the modpack should work as is, if you added anything on top it may not work
I would play the pack without adding anything, i cant ensure that the pack works with any other stuff (since the pack is thoroughly tested as it is), try taking out stuff one by one
i don't think the weathers are responsible tho
i dont think interiors would be responsible as well..
i do remember that I didn't add dawn to that pack because it would brick it, try without it (or mods that depend on it) maybe? this is a bit of a highball

there's no way around it
that's why it is still recommended to play the progression on v73

you'll get there then, it's the final moon on one of the paths

I remember there being small issues in some cases with cullfactory in the past but i think those were ironed out. even v81 it worked fine for me.
