It was a hassle, but I had to download Debug_menu_Remastered and manually spawn all the videotapes/logs to get all my moons back
From then on, I just made sure I made a backup of my saves before updating anything

I did go to ASteroid but I didn't find anything so I assume I gotta at least get scrap. I did go into LGU and turn off the Midas Touch and Scavenger Instincts, or lowered it cause I'd still be getting way too much scrap

I have a new found love for the Grand Armory interior. We just tried out a strat and it worked beautifully.
||2/3 people started walking up the rafters to nearby loot rooms and started gathering while the 3rd person (equipped with 2 jetpacks) flew around inside until they found the charging station. They returned to main, and gave one of the jetpacks to another person. This second person was shown the location of the charging station and from there both jetpack holders flew around to the loot rooms (being sure to pull the lever when cleared) and dropped everything back to main where the remaining person was waiting to transfer loot back to ship. The interior can be hard due to the long sightlines monsters can take advatange of, but the jetpack pretty much negates it. Even the nutcrackers had trouble landing shots.||

Seems completely random too. It did it to me so I quit to menu, reloaded the save, it did it again, quit/reload, it worked, quit/reload, it bugged again, quit/reload, it worked again.

ok so i finally checked how the loot spawning is in the greenhouse
this was done on a slightly decreased min/max random additive size on a x2 interior size moon and with 100 scrap items
greenhouse generates two sections of crop fields, one near main, one on the other side of the "interior section" as i call it
and heres how much generates in said section
both overlayed against eachother
its not really surprising loot prioritizes spawns here
but the fact every single tile can have loot is annoying when youre actually searching
but i dont think it can spawn too close to walls outside of the interior section
at least to the point youd need to specifically aim your scan at a wall
you can probably just walk in the middle of every tile at the crops and youll find the loot find
