also the ship on trite is completely surrounded by fully flat terrain from what i remember so in the first clip the terrain is offset somehow too?

in addition to the occasional glitched rubber rooms generation, where only main entrance area spawns, and all loot spawns at the check in counter
i just got a glitched atlantean citadel
it had nothing generate except where main generates, and the large central hallway
however, one branching path did generate, but thats because the beholders eye is guaranteed to generate i suppose

Yes, it overrides things, but it doesn't break anything
The only thing it's broken so far is old bird nests when you increase the spawn curve of a moon
and even then, it's a niche bug(?) that Lass herself can't reproduce, and it's probably on Zeekerss or a simple mod incompatibility anyway
Did Cental Config have major bugs in the past? Yes, but they've been long fixed by now, so there's no reason to just drag Central Config down just because other people told you to when you haven't even tinkered with it yourself/yourself nowadays
It is literally the backbone of my modpack; it's what makes Confined Contract possible without needing to overcomplicate it (Like LQ), and it runs without issue, aside from those old bird nests I mentioned (Which I've already adapted to)
The only reason it's as functional as it is now is cus Robyn basically looked at the Github repo a while back and helped rewrite most of the mod to modern standards, she described a lot of the way it was coded as ancient which leads me to believe the mod was done through ChatGPT or something originally and it's a miracle it ever worked
im pretty sure this would just increase the chance of it happening
its one thing to lower the overall size, but only main entrance generating is a whole other thing
and can probably happen outside of that
i stopped using CC when it actually started causing Black Mesa to fail to generate
it was specifically turning off loadstone's async dungen for Black Mesa only which broke the interior and forced it to generate facility instead

How does Atlantica's flooding work with modded interiors? Does it always leave enough air to be survivable or do I need to test every interior to see if they're vertical enough?

Nah it was thanks to me actually I kidnapped wesley and tied him up above a vat of acid and throw pin pricks at his eyes till he caved
If I remember correctly, at the very least for Slaughterhouse which seems way less vertical than Atlantean Citadel, the flood stops at the level of the walkways in the big open rooms, and those seem a lot, lot less tall than the points at which the flooding stops in the citadel, so I'd say maybe? To an extent at least.
However if you're using an interior that's all horizootal and with only very few downloads I don't think the flooding would account for it, and you'd drown for sure.
it's made for the atlantean citadel, that interior has special rooms made just for that gimmick

I know for a fact that sewer interior from scoopys is nono
From my testing, it seems Atlantica sets like, 3 points or so, that being the base level, the mid level, and then the peak the water sits at
For Atlantean Citadel, the first is the floor, second is a bit more up, 3rd is the top of the spiral stair rooms
It varies between interiors
Like in the Office or Art Gallery, it floods from base all the way up to the 2nd floor, with 3 floor being fine
Whereas in a much much shorter interior like Pool Rooms, it only floods to the top of the stairs, which is maybe at best 3 stories tall of spiral staircases, but usually 2
I think Tower, Office, Grand Armory, Art Gallery and Pool Rooms work with the flooding mechanic due to how they have some kind of consistent verticality you can take advantage of
Whereas flat interiors like Gray Apartments would be hell
I also like to include Slaughterhouse and the Flesh interior there since they have a cool visual effect outside and the water turns red inside too, but those interiors are much harder to find high-ground in

Yes with the flooding it works on other interiors tho it always floods to a similar area on the interiors. Due to grand armory being so grand it is rarely a threat but you got to watch your footing as it is a long way down

it doesn't always flood the main entrance but idk if that's hardcoded or what
mineshaft doesn't flood on the main entrance, but on sewer it does
actually sewer is almost an instant dead bc the water floods extremely fast there
Sewers has the main entrance be very high-up, that must be why the flood is so extreme.
it depends on where the root of the main entrance tile is. wherever that root is becomes the floor level of the flood. mineshaft for example has its root at the elevator's bottom

first off i don't know how to do it in the cfg version, i do it on the web editor
second, in the web editor if you do it in the global tab, it will apply to every moon whose parent is set to global
sorry for the questions, but in the web editor if i just have scrap toggled in global does it enable all scrap everywhere or do I have to add them 1 by 1? I see the enable and add all buttons as well but theres no feedback when pressed so im unsure if they do anything
I'd you check the rarity box and give it a value it will spawn everywhere (unless a specific moon already has it checked with a different value) you don't have to assign it in every moon.

I think you have to finish wesley's campaing in one game, you can reload the save and continue from there but you can't do it in multiple saves

I tried doing that on eclipsed only Wesley's moons
got all the apparatus moons unlocked and then stopped
most of em were kind of easy??? surprisingly enough
the only eclipsed moons i know are really bad are asteroid-13 and utril
classic eclipsed spawn cycle of 5 on asteroid-13

at least im pretty sure its 4
utril is not required though so
yeah and as you only need to go to once at the start of the round
technically you can get really lucky and unlock cosmocos on asteroid-13
but that doesnt really help much since theres no way to unlock calist early
and youd get both cosmocos and calist unlocked from polarus
getting filitrios from motra is a good skip since you wouldnt need to go to oldred and trite
so best run would probably be just getting filitrios early from motra, then doing demetrica, then follow geofferys story and unlock cosmocos and calist
actually itd probably be better to do geofferys stuff first cause doing filitrios solo is ass without equipment

really had no energy to deal with a gimmick (eclipsed) on top of gimmicks (modded interiors) on top of gimmicks (moon-specific interior mechanics)
esp since it was back when I got like 3 quotas back to back on only rubber rooms due to terrible rng one sesh
i swear im the only person who can actually loot rubber rooms
i have issues with the loot circles, no doubt
but i genuinely feel like its the easiest interior to loot
it's not that it's not lootable
it just has. a lot of gimmicks
also the cloud rooms, the rubberrooms dimension and the changing corridoors
I like all of those, it just gets tiring when I get it all the damn time LOL
i just never go through the moving hallways
not the fault of anyone really it's just bad rng

I assume it was more cost-effective to do so than to have the skybox genuinely surround the huge empty space.

Not to advertise my own mod, but I've been made aware that Wesley has a Heavy Flashlight and Spotlight item. I think the heavy uses the same light as the pro (or very similar), but if you've ever used the spotlight, you might have noticed that if you pocket it while it's on, then the light seems to revert to that of the pro flashlight. That's unfortunately a limit to the vanilla game, but I made a mod for one of my flashlight-like items that gets around this. https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/Sniper1_1/FlashlightToolLoader/ This mod allows all modded flashlights to project the expected light from the player when the flashlight is on and pocketed. Am I supposed to pick up the dynamite because I'm unable to
heading from the ship, if you go down the slope and head left you'll find a shack with a little detonator in front of it that can be interacted with. It'll open up some fire exits while making main inaccessible (that last part may have been changed, I don't remember)

Honestly, I’d like to see the new system (with some way of doing the lines at runtime, even from Zeekerss because this is something that seems like it could be a pain for future vanilla map development) but make the old top-down camera view a ship upgrade. Let’s utilize that system a bit more!

It’s not really the aesthetic people dislike (well, maybe some), but there’s like no feasible way for modders to do this to their moons because it’s essentially manually done. Imo Zeekerss is going to have to do his manual method any time he makes a new map/changes the layout of one. Feels bad for even vanilla tbh. Got to be some shader wizardry to draw the lines and stuff where neighboring vertices have elevation differences of something.
Wesley alone has almost 30 moons and 4 interiors. Manually doing all that is going to be a version of Hell
i mean i obviously can’t speak for anyone else but me and my friendgroup but i know we wouldn’t have even touched the game in the past year if not for mods, and i do know a lot of people who basically only play with some level of mods… and honestly my issue with it isn’t just “this update screws modders” it’s “this update screws modders for almost no gain”
and I'm going to force him to do it 
based on download numbers community is comparatively pretty dead
but I wont have fun either, still need to do it for all of mine lol (released ones +12 unreleased)

I’ve only got just under 10 moons and 1 interior. I do not feel I can do this. The interior maybe. Outside, I fear I’ll have to let someone find a workaround, use a mod that reverts the radar, or just accept a blank radar screen

A part of me wants to consider making a mod that keeps the new but adds the old as a ship upgrade but I really can’t even consider taking on that until I get my current stuff working again.
