When I first saw the magnet I assumed that if someone was holding conductive items, since theyāre theoretically metal, it would pull the player in as a way to help someone outrun a giant or grab them if the shipās leaving without them.
maybe i'm crazy, but the magnet can attract the player a little while the activation sound is playing

i entered through a fire exit in the first place. it put the exit inside on the ceiling, and made main entrance grow and disappear

I think it's a toy store issue anyways, it could just be Etern I would need to test if it lags with other interiors

shuffle refers to the act of switching out what's available, so it would only shuffle after a quota
no problem! there's a lot of other fun stuff in the config
you can increase how many free moons (0 credits), paid moons (from 1 to 649 credits), rare moons (650 and above) and extra (any prize) you can get
I also recommend setting this to true, so that if you happen to leave the lobby in the middle of a quota where you paid for a moon it doesn't auto-route from it

Yeah if you want just the contracts you'll have to disable a lot of stuff in LateGame Upgrades, the default config for that mod is pretty brokenly overpowered
We also play with the contracts being free, the default is to have them cost money which like, they already use up so much time to do that I don't think they need to cost money
I feel the prices balance everything it out a ton, but yeah if you want to last as long as you'd normally last in vanilla and not be carried by upgrades then you'd have to turn em off p much
Yeah I just think the default balancing isn't great, basically. The "Running Shoes" upgrade, for a total of 2000c, gives you a 60% movement speed buff, which is enough to outrun forest giants.
I love the mod tho highly recommend just try it out and if you think stuff is too overpowered make it cost more

Yes, ground. The same ground my friend fell on and survived until I had to leave the planet.
Even then, he was able to use his magic desync reality technique to trick the game into thinking that he was in the ship with the bottles intact.
To this day, we constantly run into the issue of our realities folding in on each other.
It's a wonder to behold
He's even able to desync from reality right when Nutcracker bullets hit him.

Do they tend to clip through stuff, have weird AI, or weird pathfinding at all?
Their pathing can be weird at times when catwalks are involved, plus it's possible they get stuck in certain spots due to certain prop position (such as being behind a shipping container)
But when they do work, they're scary af to handle in the interior lols

The Butler's Bees had weird AI and pathfinding when I was in the Grand Armory. At least my friend and I got two free knives and loads of money.

I never use the Download method. I always use the Mod Manager, and even if I got a .zip, then I use said manager to install the mod via .zip

Is there anyway to remove the slight fog in the interiors of the asteroid 13 moon?
We use the full darkness mod so both combined makes it too dark with the fog
there is no way to disable the fog or any other inside gimmick of any of the moons
it kinda sucks but yeah you can't
Not unless you use a mod that removes all fog globally, but you might find that too OP, as that basically means you can see as far as the world renders and also means steam leaks are rendered pointless as they no longer impair your vision

Wesley needs to add Fog Repellers
On every moon, the interior is actually located far below the moon's map itself, and players are merely teleported to each entrance upon interaction. If the mapmaker created the moon to have a massive amount of haze near the bottom, then that could be an issue with interiors crossing over with that.
There's apparently this mod called BetterFog, which allows you to customize the density of fog and its color too
You can add color values to otherwise default fog for modded moons like Gloom.

Gloom is unplayable if you leave the npc list unconfigured lol by default 6 exterior brackens spawn before 1pm and certain things like exterior centipede/interior forest giant is just too much. Solo players should never land here.

Wait, how is that amount of Brackens possible? From what Iāve read every entity has a max count (Brackens have 1) and what I read thatās per scene but that doesnāt seem true, rather per spawn category. Even still thereās only day, inside, and outside so thatās 3 possible Brackens and only 2 could be outside.
I ran into 3 last time I was on that moon. The exterior daytime power is 20 and Brackens are the only thing that can spawn during daytime, so the max would be six.
3 exterior brackens I should say.
It was kind of horseshit because no matter where I looked there was a bracken doing the stop and stare thing so I couldn't do anything to not piss them off. As you can imagine, I died.

LethalQuantities can set seperate max counts for each moon so i wouldnt be surprised if wesley can do it during moon creation too

Thank you. I was worried about posting about it because I didn't want to seem like I was just complaining about my skill issue. The map is beautiful and I'm in love with the ambience of it.
The map does get a lot easier when you go in the two close fire exits, but I have also seen like 3 Brackens on the first trip into the facility
It's impossible to escape with loot if you're playing solo and 3 brackens happen to spawn on your way out.

I thought of a follow up question. So itās per moon but is it a blanket change to the cap for that moon or is it per spawn category? Like, in this context of Brackens could you set it to have a max of 1 for inside enemies but something else like 2 for outside enemies and 3 for daytime spawns?
Iām imagining itās just a blanket āset this number and thatās the max no matter the categoryā because I donāt even know if it would be possible to make it vary like that but there might be some cases where this could be cool.

As a side note to this have you noticed that custom scrap is not spawning after enabling configuration for a custom moon in LethalLevelLoader.cfg? I've been using this config to adjust the enemy spawn rates as you mentioned. This works but changing this value to true prevents custom scrap from spawning for some reason. The moons will spawn any of the vanilla scrap items listed in the config but the custom ones such as 'Fish Bones' won't spawn with this enabled. Oddly this happened on all of Wesley's moons except Cosmocos.

That's entirely up to if wesley wants to or not. I doubt that'd be any sort of priority tho so I wouldn't count on it.
I have a problem with the moons, I downloaded the package and through LLL disabled unnecessary moons (enabled Enable Content Configuration and selected everywhere false in General Settings - Does Planet Have Time/Is Level Hidden In Terminal/s Level Registered In Terminal) But in the terminal they remained all the moons in the list, but to get to them can not (disabled because) and writes "this action was not compatible with this object". How can I fix it and make the moons that I turned off disappear in the terminal?

When I try to play Wesley's interiors, the doors don't seem to work and sometimes the fire exits become uninteractable as well. Is this on purpose or have I done something wrong?

i mean fair but no. JLL's being used for a couple of misc things like configs and apparatus pull detection and a couple other things
the grand armory is visually impressive and i personally enjoy the gameplay of it but it was extremely unpopular in my modpack, the other players complained that all the fake doors were confusing and it was hard to break line of sight with the monsters and also the loot being nearly-only in the server rooms made it feel as though grand armory moons were unrewarding in comparison to toy store or vanilla interior moons
i think this could be fixed by adding more lootroom tiles
not only would it make loot appear more common but lootroom tiles could also break up the grand armory interior a bit by adding cover

The upside to Grand Armory is that it is hard to get lost. You see exits from a mile away.

It's easy to navigate but the monsters still present a solid challenge, most especially if you go to a moon that has a high nutcracker representation.
The openness of the map becomes a hassle once there are enemies on it that use firearms.
I kinda wish there was a way to spawn interior old birds specifically on moons that have rolled Grand Armory.

There was a Sentinel mod that adds a smaller version of the Old Bird that fires lasers everywhere, but I dunno if it's been updated recently.
It's not a version of the old bird, it's just a robot.
I think that mod is cool, but the reason I want interior old birds on Grand Armory moons is because there are actual old bird chassis inside the GA.
Plus the interior looks like it's basically made for old birds with how high the cieling is.

The pathfinding for Old Birds indoors would be disastrous, considering how low some platforms are above the others. It would need all large areas.
It could be tweaked to not fly indoors and just hang out on the ground floor. if you're seen by it it'll shoot rockets at you
It's hard to imagine a flying old bird going well indoors but an old bird shooting rockets up at you would add a fun and intimidating challenge
The other thing to worry about is the size and how it'll get stuck on a lot of little geometry.

I know the moons still need CompanyCruiserFix but I think itās a dependency of the moons pack so it should automatically download if you use it, but you might need to add it if you use individual moons.

Thatāll all probably be fixed in the next update which is scheduled for soonā¢ļø though. Wesleyās got a lot of moons to worry about plus his interiors (and also probably a life but thatās just speculation) so just got to be patient.
Gloom is bugged in that one particular enemy that spawns outside can spawn way too many copies of that enemy, making the moon harder than intended but totally still doable especially with a big group
Oh yeah, that too. Overall though, good moons! Do recommend (somehow still havenāt managed to test the interiors but they look good and Iāve heard good things).
And then this isnāt so much a bug just something to note: the Maneater and Barber havenāt been added to the spawn tables of these moons yet. The Mineshaft interior has also not been added to any of them yet so youāll only get Factory or Manor
And finally yeah consider getting Wesleyās Interiors too, theyāre really sweet and are set up to work on his moons:

I wonder if we'll get any customization options for it because there's an interior that I like to use for atlantica, but it sits rather low meaning that the hazard happens much faster.
Wonder if this Atlantica bug's been reported. ||Around 5PM, when the exterior walkway near the entrance begins sinking, items that may be laying outside of the entrance will not sink as well resulting in your items being left floating midair. Found this out when I dropped my jetpack at main, came outside only to find myself underwater and it floating in the air above me out of reach||

as it stands rn I don't go to Gloom ever because it's impossible to survive solo and anytime I do end up there I don't feel secure in lingering around outside on the account of the whole 6 brackens thing

Asteroid-13 isn't half as punishing as this and you need to sacrifice a slot for a flashlight on that moon or you're just not going to be seeing anything inside
Not to mention it's free and Gloom costs 200 something
I feel like this is a bit overly negative, I'll say that the atmosphere of Gloom really is top notch and it's not as if it doesn't make any sense for the woods to be so dangerous considering the background of the moon.
As it is right now I don't get to play LC with other people often so a lot of the time I'm stuck just doing everything myself and Gloom is extremely unfriendly to solo players.
@granite lily You should consider adding an Easter Egg for when someone dies to that, you hear the "Toasty!" from the MK games.
Yeah Gloom has a very high chance of someone dying on the way in at the start of the day
