Iirc the only interior that allows changes specific to their interior is dantor's hospital with the poison fog. It's not really a common practice. I'm opting out of including LC Office since adding new enemies is something different from hazards.

I've been in Wesley's ears since we brainstormed the ballpit idea that he needs to make it not a sudden death but a quicksand one, which would torture the players more - he likes the sudden death more 🤷♂️
Sudden death actually confuses players more than it teaches them. If you want them to "find out", you gotta show them exactly what killed them.

I think that while the ball pit tile is a really dumb tile it's not worth complaining about cuz realistically you'll only die to it once ever

Small nitpick, but this should be acknowledged: Being immediately gunned by turrets facing the front door, and losing everything in an instant when you were given little time to react is not fun nor enjoyable. There's a reason why Zeekerss blacklisted turrets from spawning in the main entrance of the vanilla interiors.

I haven't seen turrets spawn in the Manor's main entrance as of recently, and there are enough hiding spots to get around them anyway when they have spawned there in the past. Either blacklisting them from spawning near/facing toward the Armory's front door, or adding more hiding spots would make the interior more enjoyable.

I learned that by combining the No Fog mod with Whomp's Fortress.
So if there's some kind of collision issue with the ceiling, then lightning will go right through

i am having a problem which i dont know if it is a feature or a bug, but in some moons the clock is not showing up like when i go to GLOOM, the clock doesn't show up, and i know the time is running because the enemies still spawn at the normal rate
i believe asteroid 13, gloom and cosmocos do this. i don't think it's intentional but it's being kept as a "feature"

That is odd because Asteroid-13 does seams to be working fine sometimes at least, and I never got into Cosmocos to test it out. I don't know if this might be a cause but I do use the BetterClock mod, but I don't know if that mod necessary changes the actual time frame of the game itself

Hey, I'm noticing there are a few null reference exceptions when loading into a moon using the Grand Armory interior:
Edit: I went to titan once until I got the interior, so there are logs of me visiting with the Facility interior once before the actual logs
Found this because something to do with the entrance teleport's network object doesn't seem to be initialised because of this, so teleporting XL Scrap out doesn't work with these interiors.

Been trying to get custom interiors that fit each of Wesley's moons and CompanyMines fits really well with Polarus. Definitely feels like a mine, very elaborate, and the tunnel systems look like they could be the remnants burrowing Earth Leviathans. ||It also blends really well with the fact that Earth leviathans are an interior spawn for Polarus as well. Cuz having a leviathan erupt from the floor of a facility or mansion doesn't make too much sense lol||

@granite lily we've been having an issue with the ball pit where when jumping in players don't die even though they have zero health and can't move. We've been calling it the ball pit purgatory 😆.
My friend had the same issue after I specifically told him NOT to go there.
He said he didn't hear me at all
So somehow my mic had conveniently cut out at the part where I said "We are not going there"
He was able to teleport magically to the ship with his Bottles because he was still alive.
So I guess all's well that ends well.

If it's just normal monsters (such as a brachen) you could potentially remove them from the outside enemy pools using LethalLevelLoader's config or LethalQuantities

Uh random question, what's the minimum map size multiplier that the Grand Armory is able to consistently work on? 🤔
Why do you ask?
Cause I notice from testing with moons with really small map size multipliers (e.g. Experimentation, Assurance, Embrion, all of which have 1.1 or below), sometime it just hangs with a "failed to generate after x attempts" or smth of that nature
Which I'm suspecting it's having difficulty generating with a map that it considers too small
That's likely the fix Wesley has been working on for Grand Armory if I had to guess, for now I just say be patient

In my main pack I have it set to 1.5 on experimentation via Lethal Quantities and it still fails
it does seem inconsistent in how long it takes to generate
it usually takes 10-20+ attempts, and if it takes more than twenty it simply doesn't generate. haven't found any way around that

I consistently use GA on embrion, it's set to 9999 on the GA config, have played prolly more than 8+ quotas total on GA Embrion and had 0 issue

No, the smallest vanilla goes is 1.0 with Experimentation and Assurance
the issue with experimentation is almost definitely different but the game crashes on 0.5 and below w/ grand armory

- Completely redid the way Grand Armory generates to (hopefully) prevent it from not generating sometimes
^This also means Grand Armory will be wildly different path wise compared to before, you might have to cross an acid section to get to another part of the regular armory
^And occasionally not every type of loot room will be present - Replaced the acid tiles with one more modular acid tile
- Allowed a second elevator to spawn
- Added stairs to acid pool transition tiles
- Added some variation to the acid pool transition jumps
- Added lava pools to "Canyon" and "Wasteland" tags
- Added ball pits to the "Fun" tag
- Added far audios to certain sounds
- An alarm system will now go off on the loot rooms if the power is down, you can disable these
^ Could help with finding the loot rooms - Made fire exits more likely to spawn deeper in the armory
- Added a loot spot in the cold storage server room
- Added some more ambient sounds
- Added a possible apparatus spot in the cold storage area

- There's nothing below the ball pit
- Made shotgun doors a bit more dangerous

Yep that's the sound file in question, but I've definitely heard normal Vent sounds play when a Nutcracker is spawning, so it could be something broken in recent updates or by a mainstay mod like LLL or something

Yeah but im just saying, you as an interior dev cannot override what enemy plays what vent sound unless you do some code magic or batby makes it an option because the sound comes from the enemy scriptable objects which are replaced by LLL with vanilla ones

||There is a difference in the two though. The ball pit just straight up instant death so with God mode there is no damage to show cause you're suppose to just be dead. I've had it happen before with testing other mods. I get what you're saying about the damage ticking still and you're correct in thinking that for here but it doesn't always happen for everything.||

What happened was that my friend jumped in and didn't die so he was just stuck down there with no way of getting up. I went to the ship and left, and he snapped right back in with the scrap he looted.
It was weird.
How laggy are the interiors? Thinking about adding this for my mod pack for my friends and a few of them (one in particular) have really bad PC’s running assurance outside at 25 fps. With cull factory he runs the factory interior at 40fps.
Everyone else is pretty decent, running the game between 30-60 fps.
Just thought I’d ask if the interiors lag that often. Wouldn’t imagine toy factory would but a bit worried about the armoury
just add it and see? you can dig through the configs and disable GA if its realy bad

I may also have a mod that adds fake Air Horns that just blow up when pressed.
The "fake" airhorns should still make noise, but immediately summon a monster out of sight from the player that just immediately aggros on the horn-blower.
It's part of a scrap pack. There are still real ones. Just some fake ones to hide amongst the scrap. Meant as a troll your friends who like to spam air horns thing. Tbh I use the mod mainly for the chocobo and moogle plushies in it lol and some times the evil troll your friends stuff they cooked up.
Not everything is designed to be balanced. Some stuff is just simply for the laughs. Lots of stuff in my pack does have some sense of balance while adding some crazy things like Wesley Interiors. In all honesty I was joking about unfixing it. I just like poking fun at Wesley cause his stuff is just so damn insane and cool.
BTW @granite lily my group absolutely loved the Halloween themed Toy Factory. Thank you again for your amazing work dude and for pumping out tons of quick fixes.
