I've been baking the lore into a lot of small details everywhere
but it is based off the classrooms game or am i tweaking

It's all original, based off of a lot of the fun experiences I got to have as a kid. A lot of inspiration taken from indoor playgrounds like the ones that used to be at fast food places, some inspiration from Disney Quest, some from a place I remember in Las Vegas called Kids Quest.
PlayZone's last operating day in the canon was ||October 16 of 2004.||
We've got ||cosmic bowling, laser tag, a trampoline park, a basketball court, birthday party room, and a day care room.||
||There's a ton of new custom scrap, all of which I modeled and textured myself. There's working slides, trapeze bars, deadly foam cubes, ball pits, trampolines, a bouncy house, custom hazards, a working elevator, reworking the apparatus in a new way, custom enemy spawners... the list goes on.||

I think Pelagia with all the recommended mods is like the perfect moon out of any of these for Playzone
But yeah the basic story of PlayZone is that ||It's a company-owned facility for workers to drop off their kids or visit with their families. We're looking into custom logs that spawn in some of the tiles. You read about what happened the last day of operation and some of the map props nearby the logs are tied to the story, the rest I'm leaving for people to discover.||
And the reason the interior spawns on many of the vanilla moons is because there are different branches since the branding is strong and the facilities are huge.

Since my work with PlayZone has actually slowed down I can actually start taking a look at outpost 31 again, it wasn't a complicated map with much features

Yeah just having both works, I sneak into the Mimics config to add the interior (it's handled by a config setting on Bozoros' side)

Fire, rocks, or something completely unrelated, no matter, the only thing to keep in mind is that Majora is already coloring the sky to purple
I also noticed that majora moon removes the foggy atmosphere (dust)
My FPS are higher on that weather rather than on clear
(You might say "wrong thread" but in that I include bozoros performance, haha!)

Actual moon fog's not enabled, any fog remaining is vanilla stuff

My pack is at a limit where i don't really wanna add anything that isn't clientside so it doesn't affect lower-end users, but i'm sure i will really want PlayZone when its done

The amount of times I've seen someone changing 1 sound and it's a huge .wav file is ridiculous
I took an entire evening to convert all of the textures to JPEGs and we've been pretty good at compressing things
Many of the scrap items and props share the same texture atlasses with each other to save space
That's awesome, it still amazes me that an audio file can have a bigger size than an image, since kid i always thought it came audio first then image the video, guess 5t old me was wrong hehe

Nah im using wav, i just remade an existing mod but using soundapi instead of customsongs, so i used the same files

Yeah, wav can be used but it's comically larger due to being uncompressed
It's the native sound format the game uses and ogg is also optimized
I think Unity does just compress it too, but even if it didn't it's pretty hard to tell the difference between a wav or ogg file 
game uses .ogg

there's a funny bug right now where ||whenever we drop a ball the player automatically kicks it away, so you drop the bowling ball on your foot and proceed to scream like Tom every time||

It was particularly loud when that was bugged because it still counted as being plugged in for clients, and Appy ambient noises do be fairly wide to help in locating them somewhat 
If I did like a 'Q to toggle audio' thing, it'd be a lot quieter

I know not the origin of that sound effect though, not sure whose it is

Hey so just wanna say that your mods, specifically bozoros are pretty dope (Wish you could actually give more of them consistent updates instead of just bozoros but ehh it's fine for the most part). I've also been having a few issues with bozoros that IT LAGS SO DAMN MUCH ON THAT MOON and it kept spamming this in the console,
i don't really know what's causing it, said something about the nav mash being iffy, and then i took off hoping to leave the moon cause of the lag and then i tried to leave cause i didn't really get anything done on that moon and then my game crashed. Hope you could take a look at this and possibly fix it.
P.S. I'll provide more screenshots if need be. Also here's the modpack i was using while all of this was happening: 0196da9b-782a-9117-f68f-7651d43398ff
you could try it again with LostEnemyFix, though i'm not sure if it helps in this case
i do know that it destroys enemies that spam navmesh errors but i don't know if it detects this specific error

yeah i think thats why bozoros fit so well in was cause you made all the custom assets yourself and matched them to the style of LC
Christmas update was the only only exception where I grabbed some wreaths from the asset store because I was trying to get an update out quickly

i feel like thats just being a little too nitpicky, thats something most people would not really look deep into, same with most things in vanilla. the only things i would consider "immersion breaking" personally are things that are jarring and might take you out of the horror, like the duck from code rebirth singing the duck song globally everytime it spawns. (also shotgun traps in a toy store full of nutcrackers makes sense to me.. lol)
It was probably more work for us to decimate them than for me to make them from scratch

Just two cents but I think if you shifted from a traditional commercial aquarium into a more bio-lab research facility you could find a good compromise to allowing the theming to provide the artistic expression you've showcased in play zone while still getting a lot closer to the consistency in theming LC interiors have established

i like the industrial look of some of the research facility stuff, also gathering references from fish farms. The way I see it the interior would have different tile sets the same way the mines have caves vs industrial
So aquarium would have the commercial areas and the research areas / farms in other parts
I guess what im trying to say is for example that last of us II one is very much a commercial aquarium in the imagery and overall presentation where-as Lethal's interiors go for more privitised work oriented facilities.
In a lot of the refs I posted I think you could stray closer to a private facility that might cater to public viewing but not necessarily be built with it in mind, with a lot of the actual presented props and decals being very minimal and professional but the artistry being defined in the textures, architecture and lighting
Not that you have to stray further towards lethal's establishing theming (playzone very much does not and it looks great) but it would be cooler to have more lore-friendly high quality interiors and could be a fun restriction on the theming
yah I think the direction would be more of a marine life institute of sorts
probably not the right direction but Epcot had a boat ride that goes through a bunch of fish farms lol
