Man, I'm just gonna go nuclear really quick and disable everything, delete LCSoundTool and dependents, reinstall LethalResonance and dependencies, and see if it's still broken. at that point if it doesn't work it's likely gonna be a painstaking process of rebuilding the mod list with all 100 mods worth of configs

It's 100% saving a file behind the scenes which is causing the improper file linkage... I've ruled out incompatibilities, and I've deleted any file which could link back to LethalResonance, customsounds, or LCSoundTool, and the issue is still present. I still do not get the notice of needing to restart, and sound is routed from bepinex/plugins/customsounds instead of the lethalresonance folder

At this point the only solutions to get the existent pack functioning that I can think of is to just start nuking files left and right, to prowl around customsounds or LCsoundtool channels, or to just start over, and truth be told I'm not sure which is easier

... I'm pissed. I couldn't break the test profile, so I did some digging and it's an old issue from a mod I was testing having it's configs active even though the mod isn't. I was testing LethalQuantities, and was attempting to balance moons. Well... Aridion has a shit folder name when integrated into LethalQuantities which just breaks everything. I thought I had deleted it after finding it was bugged, but it turns out it was so bugged that the way the folder is structured you actually can't delete the folder without using a CLI and the folder's SFN, and it was causing the linkage to lethalresonance to fail before it could begin

once I found the SFN and nuked it from orbit everything works suddenly

Truth be told I had checked the logs previously, but without a test log I couldn't verify as my friends log was full of client side junk and old cfg load messages. only by comparing what should have been identical logs was I able to find it

It's not shameless, aside from some sound balancing and some LCSoundTool bugs, everything else about this sound pack is amazing. Truth be told, the sound balancing is more of a personal issue, I have a very high end sound setup for my PC and I run it in direct mode for higher fidelity. I could use my sound card's normalizer, but it would lower the quality of sound slightly and I'll freely admit I'm a snob about that XD

I use that, was really funny the first time we used it. My friend decided to test if it would automatically take off without telling me, and the inside facility audio was playing for me even after I left. The ticking started and he was just standing there. Then I heard the countdown, and after a few seconds of shouting at him took off myself with seconds to spare, and like an action movie we avoided the explosion by about 1, maybe 2 seconds

Tbh i'm a bit mixed on this one; on one hand i love it, it has a novelty to it and hearing it either at the mansion and facility alike could be extremely fun, BUT as long as you don't mind a more fun tune being in there i'd welcome it. On the other hand, it does somewhat feel almost antagonistic to the rest of the vibe you've got set up.

I know, was literally the first gif that popped up under dinner bell (just a bell used on (or used to be) large acres of land where the families all spread apart, so whoever was doing the calling to supper would ring a farm bell (mounted bell with a string generally on the porch) or (i guess a triangle/though never in my experience, but i'm sure it's prob happened somewhere???) to notify the family out working/playing/w/e that dinner was ready, hence dinner bell

I found them while doing a uni project of mine (an episode of "My Strange Addiction", if you've ever seen the TLC series).
