The turrets and landmines cant spawn properly I cant even imagine how the traps would spawn

when i got off the elevator one time i went invisible for my friends
they thought they left me behind and one of them went back down and died to a masked lol
when i exited the building though i reappeared to them though
also when people get on and off the elevator they fly into the ground for a second but it doesnt really affect anything
another issue is with the elevator and slimes
they just wait there at the elevator door trapping my friend
even when you switch floors they kinda just stay there
my friend couldve gone up the elevator ladder but he didnt think that hard so he tried to jump over it and died
thats like the only issues i saw
other than like 4 bathrooms being on one floor

You’re going to have to wait until the next AC update. When it updates its animation compatibility patch, you can try again with this mod
a majority of devs don't
they both use base animator so they are not compatible. You won't be able to use the portable terminal and the normal terminal bugs out when you have both of them installed
Hypothetically speaking, we would need an API to add animations to avoid conflicts between mods, too bad that making an API like this is easier said than done
Hi @narrow fossil, there's an incompatibility with LC_Office and the mod I'm working on. LittleCompany allows the resizing of players, monsters and items using a shrink ray gun.
It seems that when using your mod, there's an "ItemElevatorCheck" component added to every items. This resets the scale of every item at every frame.
Could this be removed? What is it's purpose? Maybe I'm not aware of weird behaviors when items are moving haha

-Loud (although I wouldn't complain as much if I only heard him for like 2 seconds before he eats me)
-Doesn't actually kill/hurt you
-Targets a player again way too quickly after being satisfied
and like his hit/collision box is so large lmao, sometimes you can get stuck on him but for me most of the time he notices you tryna get past him so he moves himself back which is cute
I love shrimp a lot and would like to see him get improved <3
I'd hate to have to remove him if I get fed up with his issues too much

If you have the ||Watcher|| disabled in the configs most entity spawns get fucked. May be a problem caused by incompat with another mod.
You can set the spawn weight to 0 rather than disabling it to avoid this problem

Anyone else having lots of weird issues with LC_Office? such as a shit load of items being right at the front door, the downstairs area only having one pathway, teleporter trap sending the player out of bounds, etc?
I think that's a facility/interior size multiplier issue
I changed the default interior size to 6 and disabled the apparatus elevator setting, and all seems to be fixed now, so it was one of the two
apparatus elevator shouldn't have caused this problem at all-

For some reason when masked come out of the vents on this interior they just stand there but this might be caused by the mirage mod
Mirage mod is extremely bugged. when I played with friends, mimics would only go chase them, they would just ignore me or just stand there.
I've found this bug only happens on office it works they work fine on Wesley's interiors

Honestly, until v55, maybe just avoid using the elevator entirely and just send it to f1 and then use the ladders or a jetpack to traverse between floors.
That'd be pretty annoying to ferry 2h items back with the elevator not being used cause of players getting ejected from them
idk what it was first attempt it was CONSISTENTLY doing it but then subsequent times I can prob count with a single hand how many times it happened (that being, two)
Hm, seems one of the culprits was disabling the custom screen shake
I re-enabled it and it seems to feel safer to use
If anything I can always just revert versions cause I don't use LittleCompany

just a few rooms at the bottom (fire exit we entered through) and then just the elevator mechanism

Clipping out of the elevator seems to be a problem between any moon I've thrown the interior in (That being Experimentation, Transmission, Aerona, etc.)
It seems to be way more common when I stand in the center of the elevator, it seems to not be as common if I stick to the sides (clipping can still happen, just not as often)
I also notice that for some reason, after it's occurred once, it starts to occur more often for the round, for, some, reason, this bit makes 0 sense but it is something I've noticed via testing
But yeah just to be on the safe side I reverted to v1.1.29 for now
I'm just wondering why isn't there a staircase as well in case of situations like this. I mean there is that door on 2F and that seemingly random room on 1F that has no actual purpose.
I've tried to create a staircase in the past (the room on the first floor is where the staircase is supposed to be).
But I ended up making the staircase room larger than the entire size of the lobby tiles. due to a weird bug in my mod, I manually set the size of the room, and the room size override can only be set to cube (x*y*z).
and if there is a door leading to the next room within the manually set size, the interior will not generate correctly.
so unless i rebuild the lobby floor from scratch, it is currently difficult to make stairs in the lobby
I just hope v55 comes out soon

I've yet to encounter that, but I will recommend playing via 1.1.29 if you wanna experience LC_Office cause of the elevator being p spotty in the most recent version

if you're falling out of the elevator, reverting to 1.1.29 should fix the issue
the out of bounds trigger isn't above the interior (elevator was going up in the clip), so this is an eve issue
so im not the only one falling thru

here is my mod list. I just disabled LC office because when shrimp spawns I get a bunch of collisions in the logs. But not errors.

after disabling everything but LC office and its dependencies, shrimp still seems broken. it will get stuck either coming out of the vent or in level geometry. it also does not follow the player anymore

Yeah I’ve had too many issues with this mod, currently disabled it and waiting for an update. Shrimp is broken and if often generates poorly. If I set the dungeon size high in LQ it would work most times but it’s too unreliable currently. Sad because I like this mod a lot
But I think the author has said an update is coming once the new official lethal company update drops
Ye sometimes the gen for the map is a lil weird at lower size multipliers
As long as it's functional and I can get stuff I'm not TOO bothered by it

When I was playing on v50, Halt definitely was able to kill
by being on a specific tile on LC office or smth

i dont know why it was strange, it was saying they had a different version then me even tho we were on the same version
Lengthy hallways are where you'll find Halt. Ones that look ominously long, have no other doors aside from the ones opposite of the hallway (including fire exits), and even then, I think it can only appear on just one if multiple spawn.
Strangely, I've been on v50 Office with the latest update for a bit and I haven't seen Halt for a good while. (Solo play, so the elevator desync is much less of a concern for me)

i think interiors use a little script object to decide where to spawn hazards, so it's possible only that tile has the hazard object spawner

i've currently disabled tesla gate for a while
I'm guessing you clipped slightly into something and it warped you to map origin or something weird like that
you walked into the elevator shaft and fell to your death, the elevator shafts on that map have side entrances with ladders, and you walked right off to your doom

it would be funny if someone made a custom interior featuring all of the stuff from the normal facility layout (litlary the stolen prefabs so its indistingiushable) then the rest 50% of tiles are new wacky ones, that way people go inside expecting a normal facility, and then they see something sus and say WHAT THE SIGMA?

i have bug where my friend presses elevator buttons and buttons outside to call it, and nothing happens
there is currently a bug where only the host can press the elevator button

Like, the elevator shouldn't have an apparatus until I plug it in when that option is on right
It definitely should spawn with the slot empty if it is off, yes.
Upon unplugging the appy from the facility the elevator should cease functioning until you plug an appy into it.

i ran a test here, this is all default settings in the mod other than turning up the interior's weight to be picked, ran this on experimentation as a clean replicable basis
attempt 3 4 and 5 are practically one hallway and a couple of stray rooms on the other floors
those types of generations seems quite common on this interior and when playing with a group its mildly frustrating as all the scrap is littered around the floor of the hallway and couple of rooms, we lug it all back to the ship in a few trips and then thats the whole day
there's like no fun to it when that happens
if anyone has generator settings that could fix this i'd absolutely appreciate them :3

in the mod config or LLL's config
the mod config. i dont use the lll one for lc office
this doesnt solve 2 of the three floors spawning with only one or two rooms
even at an 100x multiplier they spawn with only one or two rooms attached
on 8 for me it usually spawns the 2nd floor with 1-3 rooms, 3rd floor with 3-5 rooms, and basement always has many many rooms
is there anyway to have the rooms more evenly distributed between the floors?
i dont know. its usually better on the moons that have bigger size multipliers. office was made for titan when titan was 2.35x
despite some flaws lc office is still my favorite modded interior. it could pass as a basegame interior imo

i set the multiplier to 2.2 and i get decent sized offices, i feel like 3 would probably make the size more comparable to the size of vanilla interiors
granted you do still generalyl get 1 really long path but thats just inherent to how vanilla dungeon generation works i think
im not entirely sure how to set it up, but this thing advertises the ability to make your dungen have the two side paths (in this case the other floors) generate around 1/2 the length of the main path
which would fix the issues of there being like one or two rooms on two of the three floors while one of them has a whole ant colony of generation
and if that ends up working having the stair tiles able to connect the floors to each other would make the dungen even more intertwined making it a more expansive feeling interior
its a library the mod can utilize i dont think there's anything you can do as an end user with it
on experimentation, both the main entrance and fire exit were blocked despite having generated in the interior, viewed with freecam
you should add stuff from dead seater. that would be kinda cool.

well the reason i ask is because the update seems to have made the elevator a lot less stable. players do not smoothly follow its movement in multiplayer and one time i even ended up on top of it by clipping through it while moving downward
i'm not sure but it seems like the code that anchors the player to an object may have changed in v60, I'll have to look into that

They mentioned they went to artifice (which they claimed had a 100% chance to be the new interior) and they still got LC Office
"simulate artifice" should tell you the exact chance. if it's not mineshaft 100% then they probably missed something in the config
Vanilla-wise ||Vow _|| is the one that has the closest to 100% for the new Interior, ||Artifice|| has about a 50% chance for it by default
I don't remember if LC_Office by default was even set for Artifice, if it does appear I think it's by circumstance (either paid or vanilla being used in the config)

Has the elevator been fixed yet? lc Office is an excellent interior (one of the best imo) but since v60 the elevator is pretty bad, it even has clipping issues.

I'm a be honest with ya I was skeptical at first cause office interior didn't sound all that exciting, but I decided to give it a try and holy hell this is why you never judge a book by it's cover. Absolutely love it!!!!! The elevator is so amazing!
I forcibly disabled Shrimp via PestControl and the Office still works smoothly for me on my solo runs, minus the slightly janky elevator rides (that I don't even have to do a lot of the time cause jetpack OP)
And yes, I have encountered that particular mimic on a number of occasions. I am almost certain this is the only modded interior mimics spawn in. They're not even spawning in the new vanilla mineshaft interior
It's kinda funny with GI mimic compat because you'll get 'Fire Exit?' on a map that simply does not allow mimics and you'll be like 'Well, there can't be mimics here, so it's definitely a real fire exit'

You can change the interior's weight and spawn location through the mod's configuration menu. You can also make it a guaranteed spawn instead.
Increased weight = higher spawn chance, and it gets added to the moon along with other possible interiors
I'd say 300 weight is pretty much a 50/50 chance of getting it on every moon provided you don't have any other interior mods installed?

For vanilla moons iirc you could try smth like:
ExperimentationLevel@99999 to have an arbitrarily high weight for it on Experimentation
And for modded ones, try smth like Transmission@99999 to basically guarantee it for the moon "Transmission"
Last time I remember adding moons for this interior mod I added them via its own unique config, not sure if it's changed in more recent updates but this is how I did it in the past

issues with ac are probably hard to fix. even leaving other issues aside, ac is just too complicated
Does LCOffice plan to add a compatibility patch with Coroner now that it supports modded enemies? Would be pretty fun to have some unique death messages for Shrimp and Halt.
yeah the one thing from AC that wasn't brought back via mods are the hud elements. The stylized battery indicators are my favourite and I wish someone would try and recreate them for hotbarplus.
As for AC itself. After the whole initial game logo fiasco I'd be scared to add the mod since they guy is pretty... unhinged I'd say?

in regards to floor gen it seems if that map is under a certain size multlipler it can be really small
had and office with all 3 floors not having any rooms
just all the loot in the main elevator rooms
yeah the generation seems to break entirely if the map size mult is too small

but even on larger interior mults it almost always only spawns one floor for me
here is the weird thing for me, yeah it mostly gens on floor that connects to the elevator, but the one floor has stair cases that lead to big areas that would be where those other floors would be
so maybe generation is getting confused

Hi, Any idea if its still possible to make Shrimp spawn on specific moons using LLL?
When landing on the moon Shrimp's spawn chance is 0 for some reason no matter what i do
I also tried using LQ to specifically set the Shrimp's spawn weight on this moon but for whatever reason I couldn't find it anywhere on the enemies list
(I don't have an image of that because I did that a little while ago to no avail /-: and have since removed LQ from my modpack)

based on shrimp from a previous zeekerss game called the upturned
if he worked correctly he's supposed to get hungry over time and eventually get aggressive, but you can feed him scrap to stave off his hunger
the issue is that he hasn't worked correctly in months
so he behaves unpredictably
i'd just turn him off until he gets patched

interiors dont affect enemy spawns at all, except for the mineshaft which has a higher chance for the maneater to spawn
If the interior generated is huge, it may seem like none are spawning. Idk if you have the default size turned up real high in the config but it can be adjusted

Again, that is why I am asking for confirmation. Also it wouldn't hurt to ask @narrow fossil to make the grabbable one red if it isn't already.

as for the generation, that's just kinda something that happens with this interior. it'll often generate only one floor and that floor is enormous
Do you think Piggy would change the color of it if I asked nicely?

Internally it's referred to as a "Nucleus" iirc
Sector-0 has some sync issues from what I hear with like, 2 particular things (main shutters and the drill unit) but otherwise is p fine . < .
Is that the big one that's part of the tiles, or is it grabbable?
There's one that can be found that's grabbable, it's occasionally found behind a wall you destroy via the drilling unit prop
How do you use the drilling unit then?
On the side that's usually facing the door you enter in the room that the drilling unit is in from, there's a button that you can press
Once pressed you hear it beep and then it's hurl itself forward and destroy the wall
