Your dedication is admirable, but please maka sure you are taking care of yourself. Try not to burn out. A lot of us are counting on you. It's more important that you don't burn out, and get it done a little later, than that you get it out a bit sooner, but burn out and no longer have the motivation in the long term.

I had an issue with my friend where when we unplugged aparatus, he tried plugging it in to go up, but it got stuck, and went back down, and the doors wouldent open, and would sometimes open if unplugged and repluged multiple times.
also when it did let us push the up button. it insta-moved the elevator to the top, and made us go down.
Also on a side note: when the office loaded again, the elevator simply said it had no power, and refused to work, even though we never unplugged the aparatus that round.
I reccomend Incase and in preperations for future elevator incidents, please add back the left side staircase, as id rather have to take the stairs then not be able to get up, because on the one when it said it had no power and it was at the top, there was no way to reach the ladder back up, and its allways good to have stairs as a option. Stairs also lets monsters like scp-096 from the scp 096 mod, pathfind to the main entrance so they can leave the building, so i reccomend re-adding the staircase for main entrance 1- so monsters can escape the facility, and 2- incase of elevator malfunctions

I feel like his hunger should be less to account for the lack of items. In upturned you have items all around you to feed him, lethal company not so much xd

which would be interesting, the office spawns more scrap but the catch is you dont get to take most of it back with you

TLDR using the apparatus to power the elevator makes it stuck at the lower floors
yeah and please re-add the staircase to the main entrance 1: so monsters can pathfind up and up there is not safe ,and 2: incase elevator issues happen and you need to get two handed items up
and 3: who skips leg day, staircase is for chads
and also because it would be slightly nicer to see all 3 paths leading to the staircase,elevator, then the shaft
instead of having a path blocked off up there

Can confirm, unplugging the apparatus and trying to plug it into the elevator essentially "breaks" the elevator. I couldn't plug the apparatus in as it did not detect me as holding it in my hands, and when my friend tried it just locked him inside and the elevator stopped moving. We left via a fire exit but the office interior stayed broken in this state until the game was reloaded.
I would assume the issue lies with the game not detecting it in your hands/inventory properly and enabling the elevator accordingly, but I'm just spitballing

i've seen two shrimps before on experimentation when i bumped the spawn weight really high i think, but i've also noticed through advanced company that for some reason shrimp can only spawn on experimentation, the weight is set to 0 on any other moon, vanilla or modded, despite the configs having him set to spawn on other moons too, not sure if this is a bug or a mod conflict or what but thought it was worth mentioning
I havent played that game either, but for this mod itself, it basically follows you when they found you, and you have to like keep feeding any scrap you have before they get angry every time if you wait long enough

I saw that they changed some rooms, they have the lights off which is great to be scary.
The only thing I found in the 3 days I went to the planet was that I put LC_office, I only found this bug.
so I think the mod would be completely completed.

Can't tell which one of my mods is causing it but grabbing the apparatus does nothing but fill up my inv slots, can't drop apparatus and taking it out didn't even do the whole radiation thing with lights out

You probably can just delete them by right clicking the leftmost part of the screen where the row is. If you move it down to disabled and it breaks, just open up the graph and set its range back to only the top to bottom of the area

From my play they've been pretty balanced. I can't use AC as id have to add it to the pack, and then my configs would break other people's. However, LLL will get an update letting users modify both, so when that's out I may do some balance changes. If you have anything specific you think should be changed, lemme know!
My current only change would be to increase the scrap on Scarlet Devil Mansion a bit, but I capped its size already so I'm hoping that's enough

Piggy could you please re-add the staircase that was to the left in the starting room for 1: monster pathfinding reaching main entrance doors, and 2: a way up/down incase the elevator has an issue, or your just a chad and perfer the stairs

yeah but modded things that need to reach the exit to "escape" the facility cant cause they cant reach main entrance

generate more facility at the starting floor level
so you have facility at the top floor, and a lower facility at the lower floor
that way monsters can spawn up where the elevator is
and then its up to rng to decide if there is a staircase down
and then there wouldent be a 100% gaurentee there is a staircase
and also you wouldent know where the staircase is even if it did generate

if you want to add some extra spice, make the office that is level with the starting room have a diffent color theme than the lower floor
that way you got a upper and lower office that are visually diffrent
and can ocasionall connect with stairs

In the future i'll allow monsters to enter elevators, but they will not move along with the elevator(like ships).
I don't like the spawn kill thingy in vanilla LC. It would be best to think of the elevator as simply a entrance that prevents spawn kills.
If someday the path to the elevator becomes more complicated, I might consider it, but for now I'm not sure.
and I think if someone takes apparatus, there has to be a corresponding risk involved

multiple mods allready do that like facility meltdown or diversity, diversity has a feature that makes the bracken hunt you down if you take the aparatus, theres also mods that spawn loads of enimes if you take aparatus
one even makes the facility fill with poision gas if i remembber

also getting spawn killed is physically impossible if you dont use brutal company
without brutal monsters take like 3-5 mins to spawn in

default weight for shrimp is 5 iirc which is abysmally low

@narrow fossil I just got the max shadows error that drops the fps down going to March, but the good news is I'm testing it out with portal occlusion culling and that seems to prevent the error spam
so maybe spawning all those lights will still be a possibility (assuming that's the issue)
no wonder it's spamming the error lol that's a lot of lights
looks like my fps when not looking in the direction of those lights goes from maybe an average of 80 up to 130 with portal occlusion culling

you can plug the apparatus into the elevator socket to get it to work again

Yeah but the elevator starts off on a new moon even though the apparatus was taken from a previous moon, sure you can use the ladder but a big part of the aesthetic is the elevator

Before actually removing LC Office to test with my friends tomorrow, I want to ask this question:
Could LC Office be the issue of non-host players entering a glitched state as soon as they pull the apparatus?
(This happens on any interior, not just the office one)
I've been playing a few rounds in the Office on Experimentation, and in every round so far I've only found one scrap in the whole building
Is the interior just a bad fit for Experimentation or would this be an error?
I think it might be a bad fit.
The interior is huge and scrap seems scattered one by one if there are not many scrap items, which is usually the case on experimentation 🤔

If you're both using a mod launcher (which I recommend), try exporting your profile as a code and having them import it
that should give you an exact copy
I know one of the main issue my group has is the interior gets a bit repetitive so, been looking for mods like this Also suprised someone was able to salvage the elevator asset from Beta LC

We tried Scoopy, issue we had was the Dungeon is a bit too dark and the sewers hellish to navigate lol

I don’t know if it has been said, but the elevator behaves very weirdly when powered by the apparatus. It goes up for some players and stays down for others, it gets stuck up or down, the doors sometimes get stuck too and the elevator sometimes quickly teleports up or down. I’ve also noticed that while the players are in the elevator, they also exist right next to the ship for some reason? And anyone close can hear the discussions they’re having in the elevator

Yo - I know everyone is spamming this chat with suggestions asnd stuff and it's because it's a sick mod. Love your MaskedAiRevamp too. The only thing I wish this had was more config customization with where the interior appears. Like if I want it to be guaranteed on one moon, then have it only be a 50/50 chance on another.

My problem with elevator is that after the first time you take the apparatus out from a moon, the elevator will start off being shut down at the bottom so you'll have to use the ladder to go up and down
yeah, other person has to use the elevator buttons to get someone out, ladder can be useful for that case
or a fire exit
If you find the apparatus you can just put it inside the elevator apparatus slot so it starts working again

I have no idea how to explain this, but to put it simply, the elevator position sometimes isn't synchronized (for one player the elevator can be upstairs, for the other one downstairs), I think the bugged player also cannot use the elevator buttons and it behaves like it was lacking power (apparatus pulled out)
i really don't want to make assumptions but i think that's what is happening
i was able to see and talk with friends in the elevator
but i had another issue
i took the apparatus and we all made our way towards the elevator because the facility was melting down from #1191847266777042985
when we got in i rushed to put the apparatus in the elevator slot so we could go back up
after we reached ground floor i took the apparatus out of the slot and ran out the building
sprinting back to the ship, i looked behind me and it turns out that my friends weren't there
for them, the elevator doors had closed after I took the apparatus of the slot and they were trapped in the elevator waiting for their eventual death to the meltdown explosion
the vents being rotated incorrectly hasn't been fixed it seems

@narrow fossil Finally got to play the tileset and it is amazing, seriously good work! We had a problem with the apparatus though, it was like things weren't synced up between the players
I had pulled the apparatus from the machine and went to the elevator, upon getting there I couldn't put it into the elevator, I was host in this game but when my friend turned up he was able to but the elevator wouldn't function for either of us, I also couldn't see the apparatus placed into the elevator power bank but he could, he could still take it out though
friend got inverse teleported into the main entrance pit
also elevator had no power at the start and there was a ghost apparatus outside, unsure if the ghost apparatus is caused by office or the elevator problem is caused by ghost apparatus
Also would it be possible to have a per moon configuration for dungeon weight? I know the other interiors have it and I'd love to see this on some specific moons more

its either more interiors or lc office. lc office does a lot more with the apparatus than meltdown does lol so ofc its going to be a bit more error prone

If you take the spawned apparatus from the interior, yes
The socket is in the case you pull the apparatus from the interior and still want to leave the normal exit with 2h items
Otherwise you're forced to forgo the items and use the ladder

actually elevator originally had that bug, but iirc that it didn't happen often when frame drops occurred

even with only the office mod installed, i still can't seem to get shrimp to spawn on any map other than experimentation, even when putting the weights in the config up really high, is anyone else having this issue?

Also control company and shrimp causes an unusual issue where you can spawn in a snare flea that is shrimp and also are forever trapped
I'm getting the sync issue with the elevator. Sometimes it works and sometimes we're all trapped inside the elevator but atleast half/all are seeing something different. Instead we just find the fire exit, or if the elevator is down we take the ladder instead. ATLEAST we can play on there now.
I'm definitely waiting for it to be stable before playing with others 🥺 ... seems still a lot of issues with multiplayers
Atleast everyone can see the shrimp now, that ones most important. It feels like loot is quite scarce on that interior and configurations are showing up on paid moons for some reason and it's only free moons. 🤷

So unless Shrimp just magically eats all the scrap it comes across (speaking rhetorically, that's not a behavior I've seen the Shrimp do just for context), then idk why it ends up to be abnormally low

I found halfing the size multiplier in the scp dungeon config
fixed all loot issues for me

for context the way scrap is spawned in lc is it goes through each scrap spawn transform, rolls to see if and what scrap it gets and finds a random spot on the navmesh in like a 8 metre sphere radius
and puts it there
Definitely would rather for this to be fixed itself, cause changing config yourself would need all the other players to have the same config to avoid desync, if I'm not mistaken which is annoying

Unfortunately I don't believe Office interior does NOT allow you to adjust the size multiplier, config just lists it's balanced around Titan but p sure this is just copied over from the older iterations of SCP Interior's config

Bug Report I cannot scan the aparatus as host on other map interiors, and also other players cant see the aparatus on other map interiors if they arnt host, and the ship does not register the aparatus from other map interiors as loot

@woven jasper there's a slider in the edit configurations file. With 300 at 50% chance i believe. It's also bugged so it spawns on every map (including modded). I had spawn in infernis moon with normal configurations and its only allowed on Free moons.

most weights are based on a "lottery" system where the higher the weight the higher chance it is to get picked
so a weight of 5 means there is 5 chances for it to be picked
i know how weights work but i just wanna lower the one for the shrimp as i still face it too often for my taste

if u want, u can download Advanced Company, load the game once, quit back to menu, n then u should be able to configure shrimps spawn to 99999 in-game; that's how i kept spawning shrimp if you just wanna see him

You have to consider max enemy power as well which is higher on titan which will spawn/allow more monsters
i've checked, and shrimp seems to always have his spawn weight at 0 on other moons, no matter what you set in the config
if you're looking for an alternative to Advanced Company, there's something called Lethal Quantities. It takes ALOT of setup if you wanna get in depth with it and a fair bit of understanding, but it's extremely flexible when it comes to what can spawn where.

I agree, it felt very very large with loot spread out a bit much
I had similar issues with MoreInteriors bunker and Scoopy’s sewers
Reducing the max scale of them from 2 to something like 1.25 - 1.5 was a MUCH better experience
So you get an idea of the map, having it be large enough that you’re not done exploring by 2pm, dense enough to where you actually see anything other than a puffer spawn, while not getting jumped in a corner by 4 coilheads and 3 thumpers, and more importantly, you can actually reach the apparatus

The mod is great, always love some more interiors. ButT this one has a flaw that is a bit annoying : we can't customise the rarity per moon like the others interiors mods do.
I have spent alot of time tweakin a modpack for my friends, would love to add this dungeon but as for now i can't since i am forced to have the same weigth on every moons enabled :C
Speaking of playing with friends.. Does CullFactory & LC_Office still clash? Mainly talking about the rendering issue
I can't speak for Advanced Company since I avoided it for all its extra content, but Lethal Quantities should allow you to modify the weight per moon if you learn how to use it.

all of them have one more tag u can put as a parameter which is "list", and then in another parameter u must write a string with the moon internal name followed by the weight

I've been having issues where the elevator works for the first time, then every subsequent visit to the office no longer has power to the elevator, even though I can confirm there are apparatuses that spawn in the dungeon. I also can't use any already retrieved apparatuses since the elevator doors are shut. Anyone else have issues like this?

Hey, i really like the concept of this mod but there a few quirks that kind of put me off
these are all from a game design or visual appeal standpoint, and should be taken with a grain of salt
really apprectiate the work that went into this mod
Interior feels way too large
- compared to vanilla interiors like mansion or the industrial one, the interior just feels so... large and empty
- this could just be a lack of furniture in many rooms, but a lot of rooms by design are just extremely wide and open
- because of how large the rooms are, item spawns feel so dilluted. sometimes it takes ages to find 1 item when it takes seconds on the industrial map
- stamina consumption and travel times when navigating the map are marginally larger than other maps, often times i can run clear down 2-3 rooms and run out of stamina without running into any obstacles or obstructions that make the map more interesting
- this is also evident with the flights of stairs. these take FOREVER to go up or down, and if you find a dead end at the top it's just so tedious going ALL the way back down
- overall the size of the map makes looking for scrap a much more tedious task. the industrial map, for example, has large rooms and narrow hallways, all while incorporating side entrances, rooms, twists, and turns. the office map just feels like large room after large room and its a bit jarring to say the least
Elevator placement makes zero sense
- this is more so of a gripe specifically for the bottom section, but it doesnt make sense how the elevator is just in the center of a room with no support. there are 4+ elevator buttons on the bottom because of this, and it doesn't make sense.
- perhaps make it so the elevator is inside of a shaft similar to the top section (with a crouchable vent above the doorway in case you get stuck on top of the elevator, or need to use the ladder)
- since you used upturned as inspiration, maybe model it after that game's elevator?
Metal texturing is way too overused
- this texture is used a lot in the industrial interior but it is horizontal.
- this map uses this texture WAY too much, covering the ceiling, floors, and walls in an asthetically displeasing kind of way
- this is purely an opinion, but i feel like some breakup with metal beams or concrete (like the industrial interior), or making the texture horizontal instead of vertical could help
Elevator music is LOUD
- perhaps add a config that disables the music? or a "disable speaker" button similar to the ship
- literally cant hear my friends voice when inside the elevator, and i dont think it fits the game that well when you walk into the facility and start hearing blaring happy music

nah, ive had it spawn in bunker (more interiors) and mansion, its dependent on the vanilla moons, not sure if @narrow fossil has implemented it so the lil shrimpy bastard can spawn on modded moons yet
i really agree with you, I also want to point out that it's hard to get lost on this map, most of rooms have 2 entryways which makes figuring out the way back to the elevator very easy, the exploration of the map is kinda walking on a line that doesn't split in different directions

I wanted to report that elevator is out of sync.
Everything is fine except elevator being out of sync, for example if i enter elevator with my friend and i decide to push button to go down, friend stays with me in elevator, however when he exited it, he got teleported instantly to the entrence and told me that elevator didnt even moved. Same thing is with elevator going up, as well placing stuff inside of it or placing apparatus in slot.
We have same configs and no errors occured when playing.
had out of sync issues with powering on the elevator with an apparatice, seems to only work for the one who powers it

Had really big issues with desyncs when it comes to the elevator, especially when trying to put in the apparatus.

Make them back up when you get too close, like they do in upturned so they cannot block doorways.
Their phases are inconsistent to how they act in upturned. In upturned, Shrimp's stomach starts growling, then they get small eyes, then they open their mouth, then they chase you. Currently in LC_Office, Shrimp gets small eyes and growling at the same time.
Also, I believe that in upturned when you feed Shrimp to the point that their stomach stops growling, the timer resets and feeding them does nothing until their stomach starts growling again, which lowers the timer an extra amount so you can't feed Shrimp to reset them. in LC_Office, Shrimp's stomach usually starts growling again almost immediately which makes it very easy to get overwhelmed by them.
What is best rarity rate for shrimp boi to spawn, bc I've never seen him as a natural spawn

I think 'the problem' with pretty much all custom interiors is that their tile sizes are much bigger than the default ones especially factory. So you end up with a map that has the same amount of tiles/rooms but it's a significantly larger area. Which is why we need a separate size configuration for each interior. Simply increasing the loot amount is no solution imo (as enemies are affected in the same way).

This is a base game problem too, mansion on titan and march is awful, better on march because of the fire exits but man it's just how big those tiles are
If we had some sort of mod that allowed a dungeon size multiplier per dungeon per moon that would be fantastic, a lot of tweaking in a config though
Yeah, I feel that. It's borderline impossible to get a good setup with multiple interiors per moon. Currently the best way is to use custom moons . Each moon spawns only one interior and then you can use the moons size mult to handle dungeon size.
I'm not sure but I vaguely recall the dev of LLL (@tepid wind ) mentioning something along those lines (better way to handle size config)
It would totally make sense with LLL already handling a lot, poor Batby, there is already a lot on the plate 😭
I feel like from a configuration perspective it would make the most sense for moons and dungeons to individually have their own rates, then each rate gets multiplied together to form the "final" rate per say.
It's kinda weird from the design of the game to just make everything dependent on the moon, like on Titan when you will get lamps and such, it doesn't make much sense

You can set the office by typing out VowLevel and custom moons as InfernisLevel over here correct, but you also do not include any weight number how it seems

I don't think LLL is getting "fixed". From what I understand LLL had a change to how it handles certain things. A lot of mods that use it had updates to work with it. We'll probably have to wait for piggy to update.

I think @narrow fossil was doing a lot of relatively jank stuff to make things work for Office because LLL didn’t have official ways to do them yet. It’s possible the new update has issues with those previous ways of doing things
Once I’m back I’d love to help get them fixed if needed, definitely not Piggy’s fault

Honestly, no idea. Keep in mind, if you download an earlier version, you also need to download earlier versions of all it's dependencies.

so that means in the random function there will be 5 chances for a to be picked and 3 for b

so when calculating the probability for something like this its

by turning on the "gurantee office" thingy
so everytime i came back the elevator was glitched like this, no power, but the door is closed, and the light is on, sometimes even playing music
and i really dont like the fact you can put in the apparatus through the wall either
