Cosmetics with lights will show up in first person. This only happens with AdvancedCompany, not MoreCompany or TooManyEmotes (which also renders the cosmetics in third person if enabled)

though a good problem if he did fix it how would the helmet lamp and etc work?

I'm not quite sure how this works. Would I have to hook into a different part of your API to change that? I figured setting them to the same culling layer/mask as the cosmetics themselves would work

I mean it's clearly doable with TooManyEmotes despite it rendering the cosmetics in third-person but not first-person, I'm not saying Potatoe uses the same code but I'm saying it should be doable is all
Been trying to not push Potatoe on it too much cuz I feel bad cuz it's for a mod update* that isn't out yet, but I'd like to be able to work on my mod and know it will be compatible with AdvancedCompany. But I'm an amateur coder at best

I legitimately can't play without AC anymore, like if I have to I'll be sad but I just won't add lights to my cosmetics if I can't find a fix >>;
Worse case scenario is the .cosmetics can have emissive I guess if you can't patch any lights in but that means maintaining 2 mods of the same thing that's all π
Could still play with lighting too, just not anything around the front view π

Worth reporting a bug on Github after you test it with just AC and Lethal Stats, and get a log for it

That's a strange one, it was fine before - maybe some stuff changed but yeah deffo let them know about it. This is a really good mod.

Even without any moons, LE changes a lot of fundamental stuff
and is just generally bad for compatibility
And there's literally no way to disable most of the features LE injects π
I want to stay away from LE, but this scrap mod would be so funny to add π

it works in most scenarios
Just use r2modman to install the scrap mod and LEC, then uninstall LE (or just leave LE in the pack, shouldn't cause any issues since LEC disables it)
I've just heard some people have issues with both installed so I always uninstall to be safe
I'd say LEC for scrap should be "okay" but don't let it try manage moons when LLL is about :/

I have 27 moons simultaneously using LLL and LEC and it is mostly stable
last time I did that, my game crashed π
It really just depends on what other mods you're using at that point

As long as you set stuff with AC, I've had no issues personally but if you introduce other things and not manage it with AC, chaos begins xD
The one mod that doesn't seem to listen the best is immersive scraps

It works, but screw driver scrap likes to make up its own price
LLL config's main use (if you have AC) is specifying interiors, including the ability to modify the default ones, and the ability to hide/disable certain moons (for example, if you only want one or two moons from GenericMoons)

I can't think of a way to just reassign lights to a different cam, that doesn't make sense, they show up on all the cams

They do, they're just named "Light" or "Light1" or "LightLeft1"
But internally they're still light components
Because potatoe is rigging lights visually for stuff like HelmetLamp/TacticalHelmet and only can assume this is what might be doing it and forcing your lights to be visual.

Not sure how Lethal Stats would cause this. It only accesses the value of the terminal once on a Prefix function for HUDManagerFillEndGameStats.
anyone got a list of all wearable item names from AC that I can put in KeepItemsDuringTeleport = for GeneralImprovements mod?
wearable would be those that are put in the right-side hotbars (headwear, footwear, chest)
I'm not sure about the internal names of them unfortunately but here's the list of all of them:

afaik GI does not accept a list, only "None, Held, All"

We did a quick reset and everything is working intended now, I just never knew that item existed, so that was kind of awkward.

Thing AC is missing is fix for on/off state when being put on a shelf.
I stil got rid of it because I had issues with syncing of flashlight states between players.
But that was a while ago.
That and the fix for the flashlight light texture being set to on when reloading the lobby as well
FlashlightFix fixes that and sets it to load turned off, Shaosil plans to implement the mod into GI eventually though

Just regarding my game. I decided for fmod btw.
I played a bit with it and learned quite a lot about it already :)
Seems to be the better choice than relying on Unitys Audio system
It makes it a bit more complex to mod but I will see if I can create a small API for modders to add their sounds then
(Especially because most modders most likely only know unitys audio source and audio clips)

- The Protege if the Apparatus is taken out he will become aggressive,
- and then he will make a Loud TV like noise while chasing every Player only kills them if they move
- The Protege can also blind Players if they look at it while he's eyes are open
- if you were flashed by his eyes cause you looked he will know where you run are Full speed to you

I'm using Mirage so MEO wasn't needed anymore

Though that would be near impossible since he one taps you by eating you alive
Mirage doesn't have all functions of MEO.
Use MaskedEnemyOverhaulFork instead.

Yeah when I removed MEO and had AC do bracken spawn rate for the masked instead it netted a performance boost
I also highly, highly recommend switching from HDLethalCompany to LCUltrawide and setting it up for 1080p
That also improves performance, and fixes the fog flickering problems on Rend and Dine

As much as I like EladsHud, I kinda like the vanilla HUD since I have BadassCompany so you can see emote names and the your character outline dancing in the corner
I just think the vanilla one is too big
If it used up less screen space I'd like it more

Width at default 0 will automatically match your height and aspect.

ScrapA is 30
ScrapB is 45
ScrapC is 14
ScrapD is 20
ScrapE is 12

That adds up to 125
So ScrapA has a 30/125 chance of spawning
ScrapB 45/125
etc.
so if i want to figure out how often i want something to spawn on a moon, I have to add up every single value first?

i didn't realize how much modded scrap i have
Getting an odd bug where the same person keeps getting tp'd with other people if you switch the cameras too fast. The issue seems to be a desync issue due to their Internet potentially (could just be their game not loading properly but it always only happens to them, they did not download any extra mods) Basically everyone else will see the correct name on the screen, but the person getting tp'd will see their name. Slowly switching the player shown on the screen seems to fix it for some reason.
Unrelated to AC.
I'm only assuming it is related to AC since that is only one that has coding to reduce desync issues.
Reduce desync issues? There's very little syncing in the base game to begin with.

You need to enter them in the cfg for the interior by using the 'list' string
All of them should be set to all moons
"All" doesn't work for some of the interiors

But for some reason when it's a modded moon, only 2 custom ones show up
and the rarities are completely different
You want them to spawn random on every moon

Yes so 60 will work on all moons, but sometimes the "all" option doesn't work, so to be sure I just put all moon names with "list" option, and give them the number 60 or something, so this way it will work

The names on the terminal are the names you need to put in the config, but every config shows a way to put them in, some are Vow@60, other vow:60 and ye, you get it
