- Fixed a rare error which occured when picking up an item while being in equipment slots resulting in desyncs of the inventory.
- Fixed an error with other mods changing the despawn scrap mechanics by adding a transpiler.
- Added new compability options (you can activate animation compability mode manually now and hide equipment, hide cosmetics and deactivate the music clientside)
- Korean player names should now function correctly again. (In fact all UTF8 characters should work)
- Fixed an error which resulted in savegame being corrupted by the bulletproof vest. Yay!
- Renamed the infamous hall of shame to hall of extraordinary gentlemen and made it debug level. So if you feel overly offended by this joke, just deactivate debug level logs.
- Fixed a bug in post processing stack resulting in a null error when beamUpPlayer was called without, well, beaming a player like the method suggests. *shrug*
- Added an encyclopedia with in-game explanation of all added items.
- Changed most application on portable terminal to return to help screen when no output is printed (just exiting store, closing perks etc.)
- Items which are deactivated will now automatically have a highest sale percentage of 0 resulting in them not having discounts any longer shown in other mods.
- Added predefined presets for lobby configuration. Default, Alternative (with 4 starting inventory slots) and Mostly Vanilla.
- You can now configure unlockable objects (ship upgrades & decorations)
- Note: As I had to read from other modders that AC is "f***ing" with the terminal and got reminded by their users that my shitty mod doesnt has nearly as many downloads as the mods of the modders saying so, I decided to NOT change the terminal store. It will still show the wrong prices for ship upgrades and still show deactivated ship upgrades because of it.
- Added GZIP compression to handshake so larger configs can be transferred within steams 512K limit. Compression ratio for configs are about 1:6. So in theory you can now transfer configs up to 3MB.

imagine I jump from lobby with Infernis to lobby with Ganimedes. both mods have "Pickaxe" item. Ganimedes pickaxe is a shovel-esque item whereas infernis' pickaxe is just scrap. Ganimedes lobby -> infernis lobby could potentially break the pickaxe scrap to be a shovel client side
Not to start with NetworkConfig stuff. If they just remove NetworkConfig Hash checks this will quickly become desync hell

Unity keeps NetworkPrefabs with their networkobject IDs in a list. How about removing them when leaving a lobby? How would they go about that? Its a monumental task. Thats what I say :D

Make it so when I connect to you, I request a set of packets detailing the mod pack - then it downloads it off of a database (thunderstore) - relaunches bepinex and then forces connection to the server you just attempted, with skipping intro/menues...

AdvancedCompany certainly isn't lightweight from a code perspective, but from impact on the game perspective it definitely is

Most of the stuff AC changes is configurable and you can basically make it a way to be a mostly vanilla experience
Relaunch of the game is literally mandantory for quite a few mods, especially when Bepin needs to be reloaded which the game needs to be closed for.
Lightweight refers to the memory and CPU footprint tho 
Imagine the mod changes the entire game and makes it where it loads once you join a game then de loads the entire thing

I honestly just think it would be nice to tackle the mod mananger issue, stability with R2/TS isn't great, TS comes with Overworld too. The codes people seem to struggle with, so it all seems like good idea but if it means removing potential for mod mixing - what's the point of a "Mod Manager" if it's not managing but being a gate for mods (and not even security).
So if you pinged into a server to get some modpack, you couldn't just add it in - because the item list needs to be remade for everyone's items to be synced.
I won't touch it as long as AC is incompatible, that's just what it is

It's all possible, what they want to achieve is possible but personally I wouldn't use now knowing they're trying to be "the solution" whilst providing a "mod manager" Hopefully it's gonna be a fork of it and you can have it as a seperate module, that would be amazing then to keep compatibility open rather having to load everything.
I will say, it's a shame that if I want the default cosmetics from MoreCompany I have to install it, cuz its otherwise a complete dud in my pack

It uses RPC messages to ensure all objects are in the same state for all connected players. Player connecting after a change wont get that change as the changes are written to non networked fields.

You can observe this in VANILLA Open a lobby, turn off the light and let someone join. The lights will be on for them 
Same with the storage cabinet. Open a lobby, open the cabinet, let someone join. Its still closed for the joined player.
Eventually hopefully y'all just work on building a open source library that your mods can work from to your hearts content without conflicting each other in unintended ways. 😛

All Late Company is syncing is the weather 
No door states, no locked door states, no animation object triggers, no red locust bees (resulting in them losing their hive and spamming the console with gigabytes of error messages)

mhm yeah, but I believe with diversity weather is far more common/less common, it makes sinking in quicksand impossible, it also sometimes causes issues with bracken pathfinding (it just gets stuck)...
you know what... I did find it odd with the one time I touched quicksand...
I tapped it cause I saw a darkness spot in the corner to the left of the ladder - and was like "is that quicksand?"
I went in and jutted right up walking backwards. chalked that up to just quick reflexes... it was a bug that prevented it though 😢 ?
the creator said they accidentally broke the entirety of Unity's "random" function, which means that stuff in the store will be broken, enemy spawns will be weird, pathfinding might be weird, might cause descyncs maybe... etc
bracken doesn't seem to have pathfinding issues though in mine - moreso it seems to be really damn aggressive eventually... also doesn't pathfind well in the more_interiors moon but that's just a custom interior

I couldn't put my finger on it - but it seemed to multiply certain targets
If there was a thumper - there's 3. If there was a spider, one would always exist - that kinda paranoia I had.
But I didn't have anything but a gut feeling tellin' me these spawns were just weird..
