I'd say "nobody's gonna notice these little things", but clearly there is a crazy number of people with unbelievable amounts of hours in OG Doom in here that I've underestimated. 
Do you "save as new" or "save", or do you hit "continue"? The profile only saves if you click one of the first two. Try "save as new" and see if it gets reset
EDIT: scratch that, in folder? make it in game, you shouldn't be editing it out of game

@solar girder just create the preset in game, save as new, then this is the file you would want to verify is shared. If the code doesn't share it, this file should work

I've never messed with thunderstore modpacks, so I can't be of much help there, sorry. My packs are insane and custom made for each group, our RoR2 modpack reached about 300 mods and a 10 minute load timer before we finally pulled a few out, lmao.

Did you leave the option on the right checked with the value of the power you wanted? It's supposed to return to default if the box on under "power" is unchecked
Having an issue where one of my players, and nobody else, occasionally is completely unable to close the portable terminal, is this a known issue? My only thought is maybe it's a keybinding issue, like some other button has X as its keybind but I'm not sure
that might have been the issue but im gonna leave it like that

@brazen quail I think that issue began for me when InputUtili got updated, reverting back seemed to fix it frop happening again for me. So someone report that earlier and worked for me

After a lot of testing, Brutal Company Minus breaks Advanced Company's scrap rarity settings altogether. Strangely enough, that's the only value that it seems to break. Enemy weights, spawns, and item value/quantity are only modified during an event and otherwise follow AC's settings, but scrap rarity is just completely ignored even without item events.
Can you disable Brutals scrap settings?
I know with Savage Company you can, you can disable scrap multiplier + credits.

I may give Savage a try, but I really like Minus' event system being multiple potentially smaller events
(except getting extra coil heads inside plus the event where looking at coil heads triggers them)
Savage recently added scaling, they have a point system. You can also edit the events name, etc too

dang I got that error where it says failed to sync ship items properly, save may be corrupted again. Here's the log, I did not alter any pre-game config settings this time and it still occurred when a friend tried to join me.

we kept trying, here's the most recent one, each attempt there was less of our loot on the ship until now there's just 2 left but it still causes it each time anyone tries to join
ah well, ripperoni, perhaps it was caused by us having a very large amount of loot items on the ship

Only one I got is the extend deadline setting being tied to a override to the quota setting, making extend deadline incompatible with ProgressiveDeadline, but even that is manageable

So how does this setting work? I assumed perks would tied to a specific save file but while I was testing things out in another save file and ejected all my perk points in another save file got wiped as well. If you wanted to keep the perk exp gained and lost separate from save file to save file would you need to make their own unique preset for each save?
So I found an old mod profile code you posted and noted you have a ton of mods in it which hard conflict with Advanced Company. Advanced company does what those mods do, making those mods completely unnecessary and an incompatibility risk to use. Did you try removing all incompatible mods before posting here? Every value of Advanced Company is configurable, and if you don't know how I can show you how without issue. Every incompatible mod has a near equivalent, I can also help with that.
It's fine to not understand modding, but we are here to help. Just don't be rude while you do so.
It shouldn't do anything about that... Diversity doesn't even touch spawning entities at any given moment, though it could be compatibility issue with some other mods.

I've helped find multiple undiscovered compatibility issues and have assisted in fixing compatibility with multiple packs. You're disrespecting one of the most respected mod devs, and even then I still offered to fix your pack as I assumed you did not remove your incompatibilities.
If you did read and fix the incompatibilities before trying Advanced Company, I'd love to be proven wrong.

Yes: LethalQuantities has a setting for that, but it does require you to learn a whole lot. It's a powerful tool, but that power comes at a cost of being difficult to use
I do believe it has issues working on modded interiors which use LethalLevelLoader, though
I had to check because I wasn't sure and didn't want to say anything without being sure, but yeah LethalQuantities is usually the answer to these kind of statements lol
LethalEditor can do this but it's a bit advanced, the upcoming rewrite of LethalUtilities will handle this much easier and support modded interior weights too
Will there be an option at one point for items to immediately take the place of a dropped item in the hotbar? Hotbarplus and general improvements has that feature but I see that it doesn't work with advanced company.

Morning guys just woke up
fuck you are right the yippee scrap mod breaks the game when reloading the save
@solid pivot with AC installed and Yippee installed as the only 2 mods the game breaks. To replicate, start a game and exit to menu. When reloading the save the player gets stuck in limbo and the log spams. Work around has been to quit the game out to desktop, then hop back in and load the save.
The problem only occurs when both mods are installed. Neither mod breaks the game by themselves.
is there a way to save peoples profiles, perks, and cosmetics when importing a new profile?
Looks like that's dedicated slot for shoe-related items (e.g. Flippers & Rocket Boots)

additionally im using lethaleditor (for managing custom spawn weights for monsters per moon) and lethalutilities (for some character movement changes, door locking options, round changes, teleporter changes, gear capacity changes and company sell changes). is there a problem with lethaleditor or lethalutilities?
So with fairai, you cna still use it, but it causes issues with the bulletproof vest. If you prefer to have fairai, just disable or don't use the vest. Otherwise, there's a mod that does something similar, LandminesForAll by Sakura which, while not as good as FairAI, might not share the same issues.
i tried landmines for all but it didnt really work for me (a lil bugged) and it doesnt include turrets
You don't need lethal editor, Advanced Company has that feature. I'm not sure about Lethal Utilities, depends on what those changes do. I know that GeneralImprovements by ShaosilGaming is almost completely compatible, and that BetterStamina by FlipMods is fully compatible and would let you change sprint values.
Yes, as stated the issues are with bulletproof vest and FairAI. You can just disable the bulletproof vest in the Advanced Company lobby and there won't be any issues. With both enabled there are many issues.

If it is really an issue, you can adjust the price of the tactical headset to match a flashlight and walkie and it will fulfill both functions. There is no current replacement for reserved weapon, though.
Although it is anecdotal, I have heard of people using reserved slots and Advanced Company, however it is very ill advised.

I really love how popping the dithering has become thanks to my way more advanced luminace comparisions when creating the cube maps
sadly even converting RGB to XYZ to LAB to LCH (conversion hell) doesnt prevent this from happening
There might be a better color in the DOOM PLAYPAL for those dark spots but the luminace check couldnt account for that 
Same with the helmet. Most colors are awesome tho. Look at the bright spot in the middle. How smooth its dithered ^^
I might have to reduce the cubemap to 64x64x64 tho. 256x256x256 is pretty big 
128MB per Cubemap
so they use 256MB of VRAM
Making it smaller will reduce the nuances in color tho
Pixel count isnt right yet but wow, look at that color palette put to good use :D

The colors werent dithered as nicely as with mine. So I created my own shader
It can dither both ways on a single color which is a nice effect as well
Thats the reason the dithering sometimes is looking so extremly smooth

I have realized that the best way to deactivate LethalThings items and other mods with the AC is by deactivating it through the AC itself, since there are objects that can appear even if you have it disabled in the LethalThings Config

I have noticed that in one of the latest versions of the release version of AdvancedCompany there is an incompatibility with the PermanentMoons mod.

What this mod does is that, when purchasing a paid moon, when traveling again the price is changed to 0 to be able to travel freely during the current quota.
This incompatibility starts when you change the moon price via AC.
This and your mod is essential for my modpack playstyle that I have been developing for months, allowing you to change the moon price and various scrap settings on vanilla and modded moons through your mod to encourage going to moons with more complicated climates not giving a monetary impediment to go to the more advanced moons

I am a bit curious as to what effects specifically arise when LCVR & AC are combined cause it doesn't quite list what makes the two incompatible in the compatibility page, based on what I know from other LCVR incompatibilities, it's this:
Items accessed via a hotkey cannot be utilized, which means:
- Tactical Helmet, Helmet Lamp, and Headset cannot be used, you must have an item for the same slot if you want to charge it since you cannot use Alt to access it directly
- The Portable Terminal cannot be accessed, period
- You cannot unequip Boots/Vests by holding down Alt , you'll have to click an item that also goes in that slot to do so
Yeah just checked, got rid of a few things in my list, shared out the profile code again, they all lost their saved presets for cosmetics 😦
The option in file for "Save in profile"... should that help?
I believe I've tried with it both disabled and enabled, either way their presets get wiped 😦
Have whoever is making the modpack be the one that makes the cosmetic presets
That way when you share the code, you also end up sharing all the cosmetic presets too
It's not an efficient solution since everyone will end up with a list of everyone else's cosmetic preset, but it should allow you to just pick and go
Though it doesn't fix if they edit their preset after the fact, they'll need to communicate with whoever makes the modpack if they make any adjustments to their cosmetic preset
It's annoying overhead but is the consequence when you share mod codes
Strange way of staying it, but the praise is warranted. It's come a long way from the earlier builds. I'll have to admit, I used to be critical of it, but it's improved so quickly and dropped hot fixes so fast that all my initial criticisms evaporated.

After troubleshoot, I found out that my Flashlight patch not working as expected when both mods installed. My patch to "ItemActivate" for pointer laser (flashlight) not working. By any chance you know why?

Can state: Just did 6+ hours of testing today. AC functioned fine.
Clear your cache, disable the cache.
and ensure you don't have AC configs (if you had an old version). Here's an example of what should only be visible:
(There can be more under "presets\server" - depending on how many presets you've made for hosting)

Back up configs, and just delete all configs - let everything generate fresh. Honestly always best thing to do when big changes are made.
Just make sure to launch the game, and land on a planet. Then go back to config folder

I've done this before. Backup all configs - then use something like netcode-whathaveit to load both in the program
see if the new one is different than old (not in terms of values, but in terms of what can be configured - confugirable parameters, etc)
if so - move old config values into new, change into what you want
if not - delete new and just move old back in.
be sure to check how many lines there are too - some of them don't change their hecking version number in the config yet they changed the config
(No, I will never not be pissed off at that realization I had when I did my config checking)

What does the probability feature do for both inside enemies and outside enemies? Does it effect the likelihood of enemies spawning throughout the day? If so do higher or lower values lead to higher spawns cause I see that moons like dine and march have a probability of 4 while titan is 2.

Kind of surprised I didn't make the hall for shame cut lmfao, kinda feel I deserved it a bit, wouldn't even be mad. I was at first quite critical 3-4 weeks ago, when the portable terminal was just added. Truth be told, at that point each changelog was indeed lacking in any detail and that incompatibility really felt out of left field, but after I saw the effort to not only fix any issues that were found, but also continued massive improvement my viewpoint changed. At this point Advanced Company and Lategame Upgrades are the only 2 mods that won't be replaced unless they become depreciated.
This is a huge thing, realising the effort put in. Not like trying to diminish any other mod makers, especially if they are tight for time/have stuff going on, but efforts of even like you said LateGame_Upgrades can't go unnoticed and can't be so easily sniffed at because someone wants to hug their mod that's not been updated for 4-5 months and wont collab or put effort in for compatibility. Hard work deserves to be noticed ❤️
Any mod that I could swap out with a more modern, open source version I did. It's far easier and more likely for those to see fixes and adjustments if they're open source, doubly so if they're getting daily/weekly updates when the closed source original hasn't been touched in over a month. I'm normally not someone who clings to mods, which is why it's such a big deal to refuse to give up AC and LGU unless forced. The compatibility those mods have is insane if you think about just how much of the game it touches

If I set Weight Speed to 150%, will this increase or decrease the speed?

i think if you set weight speed to astronomically high value (maybe above 200% idk) it inverts the walking keys, the 'W' becomes 'S' and 'A' becomes 'D' and so on

Yeah it happens in vanilla to if you try input two things at same time to many times and/or minimise the game. Any halting to program even if ms can cause a desync in information sent to clients.

Yeah first problem I encountered in vanilla was landmines not being synced, second thing was me alt tabbing too much and things started not working between everyone like flashlights and enemies where they are for everyone

Currently, I have 6 levels of stamina regen and it is 50% increase per level

For now I will give a button to deactivate all music added but this will of course come at the cost of the items being so cool.

If you pick up an item while holding alt and being on a slot where it doesnt fit, inventory gets desynced

It's not an issue that is so common that it causes issues, it's a rare issue

yes. configuration depends on the teleporter mod. scroll up a little for the exact item names.

So we have been having this issue with advanced company and was hoping you might have a idea of whats causing this
Others used to be able to connect to me as the host but all of a sudden this started happening, we tried removing mods that where new but nothing seemed to fix it except disabling advanced company.
When they join now it just gets stuck on "Loading"
i ran into this issue last week, its not AC doing it but what we found is that some modded moons were some how causing that packet size to bloat by several hundred thousand, and like it wouldnt break every time, sometimes it would only break after trying to go to one of the moons that did it and then any connection after that, even after disabling the moons would cause it, we ended up having to revert our pack and remove a few moons, especially the moon packs

Interesting, we do have a decent amount of custom moons, though everything seems to work after we disable AC, will have to do some testing. Do you remember what moons you disabled?
it was all of the multi moon packs, but we had to fully revert our pack before those were installed and then just not install them again. and i think why disabling AC works is that it just brings you under the packet size just because it does a fair amount, we basically went one mod at a time for a mod pack with 200 mods so i dont have the exact list of ones we removed, i do know the one we noticed it on was "EXD-Expert_Moons-1.3.3"

as its one of the methods I completely replaced with AC

Have you ever played KiraDoom? It's a weapon pack wad that changes your mugshot to Kira Yoshikage and gives you a bunch of fun bomb-themed weapons.

People wished for unlockable items to be configurable. But there is a caveat. For upgrades it wont show in the terminal. Only in the portable terminal. But you still wont be able to purchase them and the prices shown on the terminal when buying are correct. I added this note to the changelog regarding this specific situation:
- Note: As I had to read from other modders that AC is "f***ing" with the terminal and got reminded by their users that my shitty mod doesnt has nearly as many downloads as the mods of the modders saying so, I decided to NOT change the terminal store. It will still show the wrong prices for ship upgrades and still show deactivated ship upgrades because of it.
And yea, thats the world we live in now

When loading a save, all items (may) get wiped except for one bulletproof vest.
This bulletproof vest is invisible for everyone, except the host.
The host cannot pick it up.
This also breaks mods like TooManySuits and suitsTerminal for some reason

What Potatoe said. It won't fix every issue but making them use the outside navmesh causes enemies to at least function as opposed to balling up and ceasing functionality
Since right now, if you spawn any indoor enemy outside, they all ball up by the ship and cry
Cuz they're trying to get back to the indoor navmesh/AI nodes
It's what LethalEscape does for any enemies that leave the facility/spawn via its mod
But LethalEscape doesn't apply that same fix to other mods
This would be funny, Bracken using ship as cover and then snatching you when you go in the ship
he already does that without any changes or anything
the moment you touch the ship ladder u dead from him
Right now if you spawn Bracken outside he just breaks entirely, unless spawned by LethalEscape

I added presets for the people constantly complaining about 3 inventory slots :3
Alternative is starting with 4 slots. Mostly vanilla deactivates as much from AC as possible (with the exception of the jar of potatoes)
