You could also run LateGameUpgrades and use their Night Vision Goggles, then use the AC headset and you'd have no concern with bringing a light and a communication device. More expensive, sure, but that's the price for compatibility sometimes

The idea is whatever is in that slot, I dont want to drop, but I want to drop stuff in the other hotbars. and one of the settings on hotbarplus, lets you automatically have the next item in your hotbar in your hand the moment you drop the one you're holding. so you can come back with a full inv and just go GGGG.

we dont run into desynching issues because we're not sorting our inventories in anyway, like I said
it's the rapid capability of picking up or dropping that causes it - doesn't realy matter if the hotbar stuff moves around automatically. Honestly the biggest offender is the one where ye can just spam the drop key fast

the "it can still happen, its just rare" response never makes any sense when you expand on that though, because if you wanna use that logic, you shouldnt use any mod because a crash could happen, even if its rare.

I lowered the time it takes to scroll and lowered the lockout time in GeneralImprovements, and while occasionally i get desyncs, I only ever really do rapid drops like that on company building so it's normally a non-issue

It's not that, it's saying its a use-at-your-own-risk mod. It has a known issue, so it's your choice to do so or not. Whether or not you've had the bug is irrelevant.

And you're right: mods are also a use-at-your-own-risk option. You can choose stability or customizability or comfort, but not always a combination of the above

yeah but doing it through hotbarplus eliminates the need to manually scroll through items as you're dropping them
and what I've noticed is that sometimes when I drop something and scroll at the same time, I get into this weird bugged state where I cannot interact with anything on the ground, no switches or doors or terminal, cant pick up anything, cant scroll, cant do anything. And this is entirely vanilla, too, I've had it happen several times with literally 0 mods installed.
so while doing the hotbarplus "scroll automaticall as you drop things" is certaintly a convenience that speeds up a part of the game that, I might add to whoever said that earlier, happens several times a day in game, it also is my solution to this weird bug
Truth be told, might be a better idea to see if that mod can add a config for ignoring certain items. likely easier to implement overall then trying to shoe-in compatibility with AC. That, or Tactical Helmet.

You need a current instance of your post processing effect as there might be multiple of them if you add them to every moon for example. With PostProcessInstance you can get the current active version at all times and listen for changes of that variable.

I could see two ways this could work. 1 - you code a way to have it set the scrap value to 0 upon being spawned in via. dropship, or 2 - you make it so the scrap can never spawn, and you set a purchase price

anyways, i just wanna ask if changing something in enemies actually get saved. i don't see the enemies category in BepInEx\config\advancedcompany\presets\server\Default.json, and can only find a config of this category in BepInEx\config\advancedcompany\enemies.json which seems like the default values.
From what I've observed, saving any changes to the enemies category in-game doesn't do anything. However, if I do change the values in BepInEx\config\advancedcompany\enemies.json it does save/load properly.

I'm not sure what you mean by LCA, but if I'm not mistaken I think other mods will treat the AdvancedCompany spawn chances as if they were the base chances. So if you had a mod that multiplied the chance of a bracken spawning by 3 and in AdvancedCompany had it set to 5, the end value would be 15? I could be wrong on that though

I think all it is is that it's confusing when multiple mods give an option to change spawn values and just not really knowing how they work. Not a fault of any mod creators of course, just a side effect of there being mods with overlapping features which is unavoidable
I just think the worst thing potatoe did was slap his name next to every info printed in console, everyone going to assume AC is at fault because of it ๐
It's easy to see red in the log and assume that the red is the cause of the problem and not a consequence of the problem
Hey, I'm having a couple of strange bugs, wondering if anyone else has encountered them. A couple of times, dropping an item has caused me to be unable to interact with anything/change inventory slots until I quit and restart. That ones not such a big deal because it seems rare and you can reset it easily enough.

I've encountered another issue too, which is weirder. I'll preface this by saying i have several mods installed but nothing else that changes speed/weight/stamina etc. like AC does. I also never saw the issue until I installed AC. I also havent had this personally but when playing with friends (exact same mods/config) a couple of them started getting faster and faster until it was basically unplayable. We deduced that what was happening was that when you drop an item, your weight is reduced and so you go faster. But it just sorta keeps going way past the normal walking speed. Heavier items make it happen faster

Only issue with inventory I've experienced with AC is whenever the host picks up the Missile Launcher their movement becomes jittery

Basically we deduced that what was happening was that when you drop an item, your weight is reduced and so you go faster. But it just sorta keeps going way past the normal walking speed. Heavier items make it happen faster
I couldnt recreate it but 2 friends had it at the same time
they got so fast they clipped out of bounds ๐

Question; how do I copy the rarity settings from one moon to another? Modded scrap often has 0 rarity on modded moons because it hasn't been configged and I'd rather just copy the vanilla moon's presets over to the other moons.

They're also gonna do a "Verstecken in Lethal Company" this Friday. I used AC to set up a lot of stuff for that mod profile as well, like the one who searches get's some perks to be slightly faster, more stamina, immune to damage, no weight malus, to disable monsters, to change loot table to spawn only stuff that can be used to make noise and flashbangs, longer deadline, instant landing, instant delivery. AC is incredible for doing stuff like that with all the config options you added ๐

That tracks, I think. For a while it worked fine, but there was a change in AC to make it work better with MoreEmotes by resetting bone positions afaik, which caused there to be a conflict with emotesapi bone positions resets
I fixed that like Sunday I think by just doing our bone resets earlier than normal for the terminal
(I only added more keyed values to my animation)
Then might be the number of mods but worked if I remove badassCompany
