The only mod of his that ever caused me issues at one point was ReservedItemSlotCore
Also he is a super chill mod dev and usually is quick to fix things if you make him aware of issues

I believe its specifically the sync Emotes. it puts the player in an A pose if theres desync and breaks most animations
you can still emote but it forces the player back into an A Pose

Is there a command to reset all player perks as the host on a save profile? I finally got my modlist in a happy place and deleted the save in slot 1 and started a new one but a couple friends that were helping me troubleshooting still had existing perks from the troubleshooting phase. Is this a bug? To have perks linger through deleted saves?

You can run flips fine for the emotes but once desync starts happening, its when there are major issues.
It could be the fault of any of ur other mods...

I'm just sayin that when animations break (Specifically from Flips Mod), it fails to pull up AC's portable terminal because the arms do no align to the location they need to be for the terminal to appear. Which can be fixed regardless of whatever is breaking the animation

that would necessitate mucking with the terminal code again and the whole point of the personal terminal was to pull out of that entirely so that other modders and mod users would stop blaming AC for mucking with the terminal ode

Not exactly. The idea is that, by default, player xp is saved to their OWN games. However if you create a lobby and deselect the box in the xp settings, player xp (for that save file) will be saved in the HOSTS save file
Eliminates the headache entirely, though, my only "gripe" is, when I disable other mods store items, LGU in this case, they still show up in portable terminal

Also, MoreEmotes is known to create this kind of issue too.

You can use this mod to remove some logs
But this will remove log levels and your logs might not be valueable for debugging

That can happen in vanilla, it's just much rarer early on. There's a chance of things spawning every couple ingame hours that starts low and increases over time on average
If it's happening every time something might be wrong, but it can happen

Just ran into this issue, my perks got mostly reset except for 5 points in strong arms and 1 in carry bags
(i had 6 points in strong arms and 2 in carry bags and more)

one of my friends grabbed the light shoes and instead of the speed buff, it dragged his speed to a crawl like he was critical health limping and he had to be teleported back to the ship, might have been caused by lategame back muscles as that upgrade often has calculation issues that give speed boosts or fail to take weight away when they are meant to

if AC had an option to switch all the player upgrades to be shared for the whole team (like ship upgrades) and an option to switch to purchasing with cash from loot instead of XP, I'd definitely disable a LOT MORE stuff in lategame upgrades
it's fun to make bank on a great quota week and then deliberate with friends over the smartest possible enhancements for the crew, I don't like the individual player buffs as much, that's why I mix and match lategame stuff with AC stuff
My mod is okay as it is

There's really not much you got to disable in LGU also LGU uses your Credits.
well I'd disable back muscles and bigger lungs and running shoes for starters, since AC ahs the same upgrades if they were bought with credits instead of XP
AC offers way much more in terms of perks, no reason to have the handful LGU offer that don't really do much and can't customise how you want imo.
You can keep Beekeeper and all that in LGU Store. Useful for that stuff
like I said, I like that the upgrades are bought with cash not XP

I actually agree but sadly I don't always play with the same group of people, they aren't always available, so it's nice to bring someone else in as a substitute and they still benefit from the crew's purchased upgrades

a simple option that bumps that person's XP up to what it would be had they played from the start (if save progress is off and tied to a specific savegame) would be a pretty lovely solution imo, then I COULD get rid of a lot of semi-buggy LGU stuff in favor of AC and not have to worry about whether or not we can even play if our mule/shoveller/sprinter is unavailable that night

You can use your perks in other saves, you don't restart unless you set it to save to profile.
Imagine asking a friend to try a new game with you but you think "starting" the game holds you back.
I don't think you understand, the problem with this is that you could start a new game and still have all your old upgrades from a late game because it saves to you specifically, not to a savegame. Dunno about you but everybody I play with finds it extremely unfun to have near-maxed out upgrades from a game that went 80 days at the start of a fresh save, you just breeze through everything until mid-game where it starts getting tense and therefore fun again
Then don't save to game file save to profile.

no I was saying I would use AC perks to substitute more LGU stuff IF said AC perks could be switched to being bought with cash instead of XP, and the only reason I wanted that is specifically so people can jump into games they didn't start out with and still have access to the same upgrade potential as the rest of the crew, that's all

I have no idea what you done to your game. Delete everything, clear caches - start fresh.
Only issue with AC out of box is @solid pivot needs more RGB
on the topic of team roles, tactical leveling choices, and mixing and matching mods to enhance the team dynamic, ImmersiveScrap + LethalThings (disable the Utility Belt) really makes that sort of nonsense a lot more practical. the better melee weapons from ImmersiveScrap function as a decent stopgap for players who don't spec into melee and still lack a shotgun, but when you put a bat or an axe into the hands of someone with heavy runspeed, damage resist, crit chance, they solo the facility wearing a rubber chicken mask. when your bro who only bought inventory slots and weight perks also benefitting from a team investment on battery life strolls into the building holding a hacking module & remote terminal, you don't need a ship guy. on the flip side, when your team's fighter gets their neck snapped by a bracken, you feel that much more vulnerable. your team is exposed to new threats they were being insulated from by a firebrand melee specialist. when your hacker dies, you have to secure their equipment because it's expensive and useful.
until either one of them didn't die to a bracken, but just stepped on a teleport trap (or not) and fell off a cliff -u-

cause depending on where in teh snow you land, you'll take fall damage from catwalk due to it being too low

so you could chase behind it smacking it, it can't really change targets
Make webs slow you down for like a while so youre only a little bit faster than the spider while running

i mentioned that because i'm about to regurgitate an idea i first expressed there; i think bunker spiders should be able to hear player footsteps from a distance away
if the programming isn't too hard it could be like, within an aoe around each of its individual web placements the spider can "hear" you
so it has like remote hearing for its web

I think coilheads, given their radioactive lore note, should have some AoE effect where being within 2 or 3 meters of them for a bit of time does some damage
people struggle enough with basic webs -w -'
if it wandered off for whatever reason and left the web unattended it'll come back if you pass it even if you didn't touch it, and if it's chilling there in the web but just out of sight it might scoot into view when you step too close

Tbh i dont find coilheads too intrusive, you can usually manuever them enough to get out safely on your own
maybe you just shine your flashlight for 5 seconds in its face, boom. Disabled for 30 seconds
coilheads are literally the most problematic enemy

so like when a spider bite u you take 90 damage or something ridiculous like that and i think that's interesting because it's usually enough to critically injure you and that comes with an immobilizing debuff, so it's as if the spider used a paralytic venom on you, but the problem is that that's not really true because if you for example trip over a circuit bee nest and get stung twice on the way in the spider just one taps you from around the corner with its deagle and that's really stinky and lame so what i'm thinking is the spider when it bite u should apply damage over time and a slowness debuff so it's like you're envenomated but if you escape the spider you'll be left at like 40 health or something
Alternative Spider: Make it a blind in-door enemy, with 2 types of webs, large webs, and smaller way less visible webs, each with a sound-que (though a noticable smaller one for smaller webs).
When stepping on a large web, spider immediately travels from its "home" to that web at fast speed, at that spot, it is blind and deaf, but can "see" anytime a small web is collided with, if it is close enough (lets say 3 mts), it can immediately pounce on the player and deal a fair bit of damage.
These webs would encompass a very large part of the facility.

anyway the spider has a really cool behavior in vanilla where if it sees you and you went close enough to it, when you back up it will match your steps
so you take one step back and it steps forward, but it's not chasing you yet.
Spiders IRL first sense of prey is movement. So maybe make the spider pick up on movement more than anything else while its in chase
it doesn't actually start running at you until you turn around to run away or begin sprinting
it should still be able to see a little bit so it can continue doing that
it's very cool and creepy
in vanilla (which is probably one of the last things I've learned about enemies in this game) - if you catch it in the act of making webs and it hasn't gotten into sleep/pounce mode - you scare it
this is why if you notice a spider come out and start making webs but get to it - it turns to look at you and is just paralized in fear
I thought it was flavor text in the lore, but it's an actual thing
so it's technically safe to get towards a spider when it's making webs and moving around - cause it isn't ready for you yet
