with the Oblivion persuasion system you can meet a perfect stranger and be their most cherished friend the first time you finish speaking with them
I hate feeling like I'm gonna come across as playing defense for Bethesda because they really deserve all the criticism they get and more, but even at 100 affinity with an NPC you can't take objects directly from their home without repercussions like you can in Skyrim, and it's not like they really treat you any differently aside from changing their greetings with you, so there's no text to support that you're actually their friend. Just that you near-effortlessly schmoozed them into giving up whatever quest-relevent info or shop discount you were seeking, diegetically within the space of an immeasurably short moment.
It's just funny and ridiculous in practice since you basically show up with some cash and quickly click through the swiveling pie-chart interrupting their voice lines until they're friendly with you

Use general improvements, set up values in config. It also has money per player feature and A TONN of QoL features
the starting credits is only for testing purposes atm. I've heard of conflicts with it so I'm staying back if possible

If I could choose only 3 mods, I'd choose Advanced Company, General Improvements and HDLethalCompany

and no, I cannot tell you why it conflicted before - but it did cause issues and broke my lobby when someone else had it active with nobody else using it

I haven't actually looked at the source but I believe "cripple" is the term that he uses for when he disables mods that conflict with his and that AdvancedCompany already has functionality for, such as MoreCompany or ShipLobby

i installed a couple mods now i only have 3 hotbar slots with 3 on the side being like a helmet, vest, and something else

You have to create a new world and change your default preset. Go to perks there and you can set your "base percentage" of "inventory size" to 400% instead of 300%
ALSO! The perk system allows you to get more inventory slots if you like, and every game you start with 500 XP so you can just buy that perk immediately (it costs 500)
you access the perks system in game with "x"
U can disable that.
I tried it, the thing I didn't like it's when music ends, 0 fading out and you're just standing in complete silence

Lowering the FPS on the helmet cams drastically improved FPS, I run it at max quality but only 5frames and can consistently get 144fps
With like 120 other mods installed
Between music samples, they stop super suddenly (some of them)
I'd make some fading out in the end of them, but that's a ton of work so

Sorry if this was asked before, but is there a way to disable apperances of equipments? I'm trying to make players and masked mimics more indistinguishable from each other, but if players used equipments from this mod it becomes way too easy to tell whether it's player or not. If there's a way to randomly give equipment apperance on the mimics then that'll work too.
Even better, they will soon copy the equipment of other players when using a mod like Masked Enemy Overhaul

It will help mods to solve conflicts
By heaviliy utilizing transpilers everywhere and the approach "decorate, not replace"
Instead of

you read
AdvancedLib.Lobby.GetCost(node);
If you want to set a price for that variable
AdvancedLib.Lobby.SetPriceOverride(node, "mymod", 100);
If you want it to get multiplied by a value
AdvancedLib.Lobby.SetPriceMultiplier(node, "mymod", 0.5f);
You can then at any time remove those overrides and multipliers
So one mod can change the moon price and another one can give you 50% discount
There will probably also be some ways to ensure compability by using before/after
So you can tell the mod to apply an override after a certain other mod because its the behaviour best suited for a conflict situation
Instead of having all mods fight over the variable

also - that damn lightning rod fails at titan in some capacity. There has to be some limit to it

I place mine on the first floor you walk on
No issues
placed one at the bottom near where the deliveries go, that failed.
Next time I tried - I put one at the top of the first set of stairs, and the 2nd one at the top of titan's stairs beside the ladder
I also place it at the house in rend
The lightning rod is a godsend
still zapped people

I don't know if there's a range on the lightning rod - but it fails at height. Really good when there isn't height though o -o

I've only once had issues it with it and that was titan when it was at the very bottom by the ship

I heard the dev of LGU loves transpilers as well
AFAIK all LGU's lightning rod does is make the ship act as one for a relatively small radius
Never had issues with LGU
From what I gathered of the LGU dev they understand that prefix return false is bad
So I wouldnt assume LGU is the culprit here

I have a quick question @solid pivot, perk XP and progress for me seem to be a little weird, ie carrying over to other saves, (and perkXP not getting set to 0 when i configure it). Is this a me/compat problem?

It’s overkill to get in the weeds of the underpinnings of scrap calculations for every moon
moon dev works off [base] (0.4) - and the scrap number on the planet is like 20 but they made it 150% - so 30 scrap appears
Functionally that math doesn’t matter
Because what you’re trying to address is feeling like you’re not getting enough scrap
I was wondering if I set it to 150% in AC, does it go 0.4 x 150% x 150% - or does AC just kick the first 150% into the bucket and makes it 150% - making the scrap not change
It doesn’t matter what the numbers under the hood are, if you want half again as much scrap or twice as much set it to 150 or 200% and you’re done
They increased the scrap by whatever percentage you put over 100%
You’re wasting your time if you’re spending hours trying to analyze the exact scrap calculations because LC itself is really weird about the math

This error appears when a NavMeshAgent (AI) isnt placed on the NavMesh but is trying to navigate with it.
Simple fix: Deactivate the NavMeshAgent if you remove it from the mesh

if the ship gains a point into the perk of the ship landing speed. you must increase 1 at a time. once then land then once again. if you immediately place 2 or more points it bugs out flooded moons. permanently it seems

No, if you're using Advanced Company it's incompatible. Use the headlamp or tactical helmet items instead.
They both provide light in the helmet slot
