is there a possibility that there can be an option for the head mount to be toggled/made invisible through config? I understand why it's there but it looks a bit goofy with modelreplacementapi models because it ends up being embedded in the face or hovering in front of the eyes

I am only adding configs over configs
I just wanted to extend the endgame but now the mod has become my endgame.
But maybe I am just a bit depressed rn.
IMHO, you shouldn't have started development by combining a bunch of mods. If you had one mod for perks, one mod for equipment, then life would be easier, and people would add everything else using other mods. and now you have made one mod for all occasions and are forced to configure every detail of it, instead of adding features
I am not forced by any means, I feel forced because I want to make people happy.
I could just say: It is like it is. People who have played with only AC get my vision
I should maybe just see everyone else as having not the same taste 
Then save the config stuff for later. You're not getting paid to disassemble the entire game and make it modular. Making every aspect of moons configurable shouldn't be on you. And it's always something you can do later. Prioritize developing what you want to develop and if people ask, say "It might come later but it's not a priority right now". That's it, conversation done

People underestimate how complex the new lobby system is

Don't get me wrong, I love that it's so compatible with so many other mods, but at the end of the day compatibility should not be your only focus
I personally dont like LGU but I see their vision and wouldnt go there and argue to make all items less powerful

My big ones are LECore / LLL and that's pretty much it, I can live without basically anything else if needed
The fact that they have config capabilities makes it possible to do that (imo)

Its depressing as it feels like nobody is playing with AC. Even tho I know better.
But it somehow feels like silent critique. And AC is my work and so I feel my work is rejected.
Them retracting after a bit would add another layer of difficulty in using them

People are just used to the popular mods
I personally like the concept of having to "give up" a slot to use an item
Remember, people take the path of least resistance, they go to the first page of "Most downloaded" and add from there
And unfortunately, for people who use cosmetics, Advanced Company users often still have More Company for the cosmetics

I like the reserved slots to be a bit more expensive

You have to pay for it but also get nice cosmetics :3
I mean the tactical helmet is sick
Since when I first tried the mod I admittedly didn't like how they were just appended to the hotbar
I dislike the concept of free slots for specific items... its literally removing the game mechanic of "sacrificing" a slot for an item
But they're so good now 
Equipment slots are still free slots for specific items tho :3
But they come with downsides
AC has options for each slot which is awesome
A) more expensive items
B) tactical helmet is heavy
C) you lose access to that slot unless you pay the increased price by A
Dying is more meaningful
This is the same reason I don't like radio hotkey, cuz it's so much more immersive to have to drop your two handed item and swap to the radio while hearing a Giant stomping around
I wouldn't be as happy with this thing if it was just one item (ie just rocket boots and no flippers) per slot
losing your rocket boots on day 1 when you dont have the money to just buy new ones feels bad

I have so many awesome teamplay ideas for my game I wont be able to add to LC
We’re going to be a group of 7-9 people Saturday and we made our modpack with Advanced company as the base game first. The gears, (headlamp and the sweet tactical helmet for exemples) and perks were what people wanted to keep the most.
Imagine a keycode door or puzzle in a room where the solution is found somewhere different in the map
So communication is key
I also had some ideas regarding world generation
I really want to have floor plans in some interiors
which actually reflect the generated level
So one can help by staying inside at the floor plan
Stuff like that :<
LGUpgrades is actually sort of trying to implement that (but getting absolutely hated on for it being too "computery")
Cant work on those, they are just not viable as a mod for me
Anyways it's like 6am and I shouldn't be awake yet, I must dip

A flash vest that you can stun things. Trigger by pressing a key, one time use, instant. Plus be a good vest to clutch teammate out of a lethal situation.
I'm hesitant about too many one time use items
Could be one time use, or make it with a battery and you need to charge it every time you use it.
Battery powered might be better
So you can’t overuse it inside and going in and out is not efficient.
And we know how the company feels about inefficiency

you have to do it like this
it varies depending on the internal moon name of the modded moon
interesting, so how do you usually find these prefixes? ask the mod developer?
when you check moons
they should have those prefixes
but I think LLL removes those and format it in their own way
But you can just type the moon name, press Enter and this will show up

Atlas Abyss requires LLL instead of LE+LECore. For me it worked just fine putting "Atlas abyss" but I dont have LE+LECore in my modlist
i have LLL and LE+LECore. I tried doing what you did and it's still not working. now the problem is I put a price on Atlass Abyss for 800 but, on the terminal it only says 419.
atlas abyss has a packed-in dll that sets its own price, they made it disabled by default now but you may have a version where it was enabled still
there will be a cfg file for it in your config directory

Potatoe I hope you don't feel discouraged on pursuing your creative inspiration - I think it's only a matter of time for people to catch on and appreciate the stability and savvy coding for larger lobbies, let alone the other quality of life you've done with reworked systems like item placeholders to eliminate shuffled arrays and the like.
I can only imagine the deluge of DMs and emails and pings from people who blow right past FAQs and whatnot, but for what it's worth there are a lot of players playing with big groups of their friends and having a great experience free of desyncs and other headaches thanks to your work and that number is bound to increase more and more.
LC's still so early in its modding infancy comparatively, but as it trucks along the number of people you've helped have an excellent experience will continue to grow exponentially. It is apprecaited!
I would like to express my gratitude to your work, it's amazing and I love it, really nice work.
I know we're just a small sample size but thanks to AC we've been able to play with groups of 8 people flawlessly and everyone -loves- the perks and accessorizing with headlamps and rocket boots and so on -- I think we've probably played 40 hours with AC multiplayer at this point, so collectively between the lot of us > 300 with a vastly improved experience.
Our only encounter with instability was unrelated to AC -- there was an update for Skinwalkers where they experimented with trying to keep the audio records in active memory instead of writing to the disk and it led to all sorts of weird issues; outside of that (which was fortunately promptly fixed by the Skinwalkers devs) we've never had any problems with desync or lag or anything and thats fantastic.
Same on our way, and I like your pov about ur code, I also have some open source projects and "closed" but free and I'm 100% sure someone it's gaining money with my work, because it has 2M downloads, and for sure someone it's selling it

Yeah they were trying to store in memory .wav audio clips from every player in the game across the entire session (since skinwalkers will pull audio from any of the days / moons you've been at throughout the session)
I have 36GB and use it to just play extremely low-fi games like LC all the time
There is even CL40-5600 >.<

hey potatoe do you think you could add a feature to the tactical helmet that makes it not unequip when attacked by a Snare Flea? with the other headslot items it makes perfect sense that they would fall off when attacked by one but the tactical helmet is designed to fit the form of your head and is strapped on; it doesn't make a lot of sense that it somehow slips off when the flea falls on you. maybe it could also cause the flea to take longer to kill you?

The rollover mod is already ostensibly a cheat, so you can think of the bonus exp as like a reward for being ahead on the quota. When the quotas get bigger and you stop having this benefit, you really feel it.

There's default for the vanilla tools, you can add other entries you want to adjust. If you're looking to incorporate the balanceditem mod just reference the weights they chose and enter those item names with those weights. You really only have to do it once, and then you've eliminated the need for a second mod (and also the potential for conflicts over things trying to modify those items)

random question, since I was discussing maps 'n map names, prices, values, etc with someone else . -.
is it possible (currently, or in the future) for a map developer to have their map be detected by your mod to have prices 'n name pre-set to what they deem is balanced? Whether yes or no, can someone make a "map pack" of sorts that has like 10+ moons, and upon loading for the first time - is there a way they can just force a config of yours to be the way they see deem balanced (by having it "default" but the moons section is edited to have all the custom moons)? ... could they have it just detect where the moons section is in this 'config' and have it edited so even if you update it and change things around it still would work? o- o

Your most practical solution is distributing a preset that has those values
Having this run active hooks when other mod moons turn up is a recipe for conflicts and people complaining when they don't realize / understand it's happening

If you want to include one that has definitions for all the moons in the pack, all you have to do is make a preset file with those values and have it land in that folder as part of your pack. It won't do anything without AC, and if you get AC it will show up as an available preset.
But you can't make a preset that's going to dynamically follow variations of moons. You could make a preset that defines every moon you can think of, though -- entries for moons not present simply won't do anything.

There's no actual standard for how maps hook into the game. LE & LLL are the most common, but there are mods that use their own DLLs to do it and other weird methods.
Some maps include dlls that define their own travel costs and scrap values so if you try to develop a mod that factors for all those considerations it's a lot of extra busy work for very minimal benefit vs. 'If you don't like the values, add a line in your preset and change them'

You're referring to Atlas Abyss, it's defaulted to false so that other mods can change the travel cost. It's there so that if you don't have another mod that does that, you can still customize the value. That's all.
It is only there for a scenario where the user does not have any other way to change the value.

Without changing anything at all, if you have LC with just Atlas Abyss in this example, it will cost 300 credits to go to Atlas Abyss.
If you want it to cost anything else, and all you have is LC with Atlas Abyss, you have no way to accomplish that.
You can, optionally, change that config from false to true to say "Yes, I would actually like it to be a value other than 300."

Then anywhere else you tried to change the value would be overrided and make it the default value of 300 again if you never went in to change anything else.

if the mods load in order, maps load first and set price - then AC comes in to change it when the main menu is there and preset is made and "Save/Continue" is clicked

Oh yeah regarding inventory desyncs, sometimes, my friends encounter an inventory bug where they can grab more things than they should (e.g. 5 slots only but they could grab 8 for some reason)
Seems like a sync message went into an error
I have to play more to find those errors
I speculated that it's some desync issue
Dropping your items and picking them up again should fix it tho
