Some item weights differ between file config and created presets still. Before I had some of them lose 1 lb. Now I have file config with 8lb shovel and preset with 19 lb shovel. I'm starting to see the pains for having to deal with both config file and json presets.

Ah, the defaults are not shown correctly it seems? And the values saved are multipliers that get rounded, as I understand? Zap gun is 11 lb, but resets to 10 and is 9 in file config.

You have to equip it with left click and then you Can speak with 'v'. It's always on and battery longs a day
nice job on the time setting. Works flawlessly now. No duplicate days, no skipping days. Values work as expected.
I guess anything that changes time of arrival will mess with days skipping or duplicating again.
I personally use time setting and map size scaling together to balance for the amount of players. Adding map size as setting to AC would be nice (because presets <3) but I'd say it's low prio. Other mods can do it and they are compatible with AC.

IntroTweaks wouldn't cause that.
care to elaborate? only issue i've encountered was big maps causing lag with brackens before some mods (Diversity e.g.) fixed their pathing AI. Big dungeons might also feel empty without touching enemy spawn rate. That's why I don't like balancing it with scrap amount but rather time so you get to explore the whole thing - or most of it.
That's mostly it.
I think some other AIs start having issues too.
Either way, if you want auto scaling of dungeons for amount of players check CoomfyDungeon.

I don't like it for two reasons. Not configurable and as I said it balances map size with scrap amount. That's not a good way to go about it imo.
I makes multiplayer even more OP and it will allow the group to explore little part of the map but get enough loot from it which reduces the chances of encountering (multiple) enemies.
I like the idea of changing branching tho. Wish I could play around with that on my own terms.

Delete your corrupted save file
If you ever want to play around. Try increasing map size while increasing time a little less (e.g. map 3x and time 2x) without touching loot amount or value. It's hard ๐
And I like that a lot with AC because AC provides ways to overcome the challenge progressively as maps get even bigger with the inherent size multiplicator that harder moons have.
I'd want something like that to auto adjust.
I got around to giving the mod a shot this week in a new modpack. We tried it on both 1.0.10 and 1.0.108, with .108 being on stream last night.
This might be outdated, given that it is from last night up to about 1AM CST, and the .109 version came out shortly thereafter, but I figured I'd report some of the issues we had, just in case.

We experienced notably more desync with .108 than we did with .10 earlier in the week. It most commonly manifested in players' perks getting swapped around, and in one instance, a player was unable to properly join the lobby, even after the lobby and game client was restarted, and the mods restarted. It took a new save file for them to join, even though several other players could join with no issues. I figure this may be due to the new netcode being a work in progress.

We noticed that the default value for the length of day seemed like it might be really fast? Like, maybe double the speed of a normal day's length, but to be honest, I can't really tell. A lot of us instantly noticed that time seeemed to be moving by a lot faster. Not sure if that was intentional or not, though.

Oh, something I noticed with my group yesterday. Players that leave the lobby would continue to be displayed on AC's performance report as dead for all rounds to follow.

I'm rewatching the stream and also noticed some other things.

We had instances of some players being unable to hear another player, while others could hear them. We even had some instances of players being invisible to other players. At one point, a player was no longer being referred to in the chatlog as their name, but became "[playerNum4]" or something similar until they rejoined.

We had an instance of bees not being in the same place for clients as they were hosts, and the bees would not move from the spot even after the hive was removed. This was on March, I believe.

A player had a snare flea grab onto their head. When another player in the ship attempted to teleport that player, they remained in the facility and the bug was removed from their head. According to the first player (snare flea'd player), they were emoting with the bug on their head with the More Emotes 1.3.3 mod at the time, using the sign-writing emote, so that may be the cause of that. Player 2 (Teleporter) saw the first player appear in the ship, standing up as if he had just been revived or connected to the lobby, but then they disappeared. This was while the second player was undergoing the [playerNum4] issue, so it may have been involving that, as well. It'll need testing.
I'll try to do some testing to reproduce these issues in a smaller timeframe and with a cleaner log. I'd post the current one, but it's 5-6 hours worth of logs.

not sure about not being able to hear, could be related to the same thing but I know in vanilla players can be invisible to each other and/or being called Player, so that's probably what happened, rejoining fixes it. As for not being able to hear players, do you have a mod called Company Creatures by any chance? It adds a shroom enemy that deafens players but the effect isn't very obvious, if not though then it's probably a bug but not sure if related to this mod or not

If you're multiplying on globalTimeSpeedMultiplier, the timer starts the moment you load the level, not when you land.
So what could be happening is the game is starting at the same time, but by the time the ship is grounded the time is different.
The moment the timer appears on your UI is not when the level timer starts, yes.
What does LE multiply?
It replaces the value of globalTimeSpeedMultiplier by what's configured.
There's also numberOfHours that is configurable in LE.
I didn't check in AC yet.
There's no mention of it so it does not use that.

Any chance you might add the walkie button as well?
Base walkies don't have a hotkey, but the headset item does, V by default
I don't believe the regular walkie will be getting a keybind if I remember correctly

I don't agree with a flash key either. Good compromise would be to have them usable only when your hands arent full.
meh its a game, i prefere people having fun and also have as many incentives to use things, like when we started using the advanced company mod, people stopped bringing flashlights and walkies because no handslots for loot. And then when they leveled up they started bringing flashlights. But still rarely walkies. So its a problem because they don't wana bring stuff when they are very likely to die anyways and also not have the ability to bring back loot incase they would survive.
People have fun in different ways.
Flashlight key is hardly that detrimental.
Extra slot for loot also slows you down considerably.
Anyway, none of this matters when it's all configurable.

It picks up whatever cosmetics mods you're using and puts them there.
So, I thought about the desynci stuff.
I might have a clue what happens and I can probably fix it somewhat. But fixing the underlying error should also be something I work on.
I guess sometimes, when a player disconnects, there is an exception somewhere, resulting in the player not being removed from the lobby correctly on host leading to wrong IDs assigned at connect
As I have my own code to look for the next ID and the game has its own this happens. I will copy the games ways to handle this to ensure both, the lobby and game will find the same ID.
Very minor visual bug but headset on the in-game file preset configuration only displays defaults for some reason
In-game it appears correctly as edited in the r2modman config file, just visually the preset doesn't show up correctly for some reason

Feature request: Could it be possible to reduce the time it takes for the delivery pod to depart after it has been opened with the Delivery Speed perk? I'm using FasterItemDropship for this, but I'd like to remove it since Adv already have the faster delivery.
Did you fix the disco bug in version 109? I had it yesterday night on version 108 when playing with friends in an online lobby. I failed to reproduce it on LAN in version 109, could it be an online only bug? I noticed the bug was the equipment itself flashing rapidly on the player head (only for other players), it not just the light toggling on/off. It also happened with the vision enhancer.

speaking of which I feel like there's currently some min maxing meta strats around (ship) perks. Like respec everything into travel discount just for travelling to another moon and then respeccing back. Or respeccing everything into loot saver after the first day you did not get wiped in a quota. Hell, you could even respec everything into weight reducer, sprint endurance, sprint speed and carry bags when bringing in all the loot at the end of a day. Do you have plans to restrict that e.g. by only allowing respeccing at company building or in orbit (the latter would still allow exploiting travel discount obvs)

I always tell people about AC, it's literally 10 mods in one - so much cleaner and consolidated.
MC is older and by the time AC got cosmetics support everyone already made cosmetics for MC. Same reason we only have one custom moon not using LE so far.
That I can understand, even now though modders are aware of AC but still use MC only ๐ In a way just saying AC should get some more love

I will say I love that you have settings included for Weather Multipliers, I know when I tested weather multiplier settings with LethalUtilities my friends and I had interior desyncs, but I think that was due to the Thunderstore dying and configs not getting exported properly
AC literally replaces the need for Bigger Lobbies, LateGame, Weather/Scrap Multipliers etc ๐ and IF modders use AC as a dependacy, cosmetics etc
Also you can scale UI with AC etc
