Are there any particularly notable incompatibilities with this presently? Would love to give this a whirl, just not sure if it will clash with a somewhat heavily modded setup.
runs great in my 108 mod pack. just config it how you want and troubleshoot any issues that arise. i havent had any major issues with this mod except quicksand only slowing the player down instead of making them sink, but that's gonna be fixed next update of this mod

Hi, is there a possibility to add an internal cooldown to bracken screaming? ghostCodes has an insanity event with breaker flipping and it causes bracken to spam the scream and earrape everyone lmao
What are the acceptable config ranges for ghost girl haunting the walkie? It defaults to 1 but is 0.5 or 0.1 an acceptable value? And if I wanted to disable it should it be 0 or -1?

when using your mod with lethal resonance, if you get necked by the bracken and go in to his lair, there is almost no sound/ambiance, think its replaced by LResonance @azure wedge
If sounds are replaced by another mod that's something I can't do much about sadly.

I don't have a problem with that. Though I'm not sure they'll want to work with diversity since it's a HUGE mod itself to work with.

I commit to nothing, BUT I see no harm in trying! Diversity is super popular and if it’s possible for us to make Lethal Resonance compatible without taking too much from those who don’t use it. Then I don’t see why not!

Is there a way to turn off darkness permanently? I tried it from lethal config but after dying once it activates again
lower the dark setting
I lowered the darkness to 0.26 and after dying it went back to full darkness, but the settings still say it's at 0.26
also a reccomendation, rather than making the bracken completly shut off the lights, make it flicker for longer and then do it
maybe they flicker and all shut off at once when you see the bracken

Any reason my friend would have been left limping for 3-4 minutes? I had broken limbs turned off, low timer for all conditions, and they remained limping till I could push them the way back to the ship and take off
had this as well, not sure if it's the fractured/broken flags, but also spider webs seem to do it too
which I doubt webs have anything to do with Diversity

iirc chaos was using a broken random function so all the webs are the same,
noticed this too, the conditions are odd and turning them off doesn't really remove them
If you're critically injured you'll be limping in vanilla. Though bleeding causes you to not Regen for 5 minutes and that probably why you were limping for a long time
I had reduced the bleeding time down to like 15 seconds, their health remained at 4 for minutes

which option in the config is the blurry screen after walking thru steam
is the latest stable version also breaking worms due to rng? We noticed that worms take really long to actually attack. Their wind up is very long and you can ignore the growling you walk from entrance to ship without it ever attacking most of the time.

config settings are there for pretty much every mod, so be aware theres a lot of stuff that you can possibly change :P
If you end up not finding something, double check, then ask the mod creator

the LethalEmotesAPI does not touch the in game animator and uses a secondary rig parenting/rig mapping system to remain compatible with all other mods that deal with animations
You also can use any rig you wish to in order to create the humanoid animations as it just uses the stock unity humanoid rig system for ease of animation creation.
Maybe an incompatibility but doesn't work like that for me. The person kidnapped doesn't see the items in it's inventory but the others see them on him. The workaround we use is just to teleport the person kidnapped (after succesfully escaping the braken space ofc) and only then the items appear on the floor from where it has been teleported
This has been my experience too, but big modpack so possibly an incompatibility. And none of us have actually escaped the Bracken room so we didn't know about the teleporting thing haha...

the player pulling out a camera feels a bit silly since they don't have one outside of there
also it suddenly cutting to a cutscene after you get caught by the walker feels odd, i think it might actually be better if it just faded to after the cutscene (but with no cutscene)
what do you mean its a protocol camera, it says here in the manual every employee has one of these cheap cameras provided by The Integrity Sector in order to assist them in situations just like this.

Oh i just had an idea, so there is a lack of one of the best parts after getting kidnapped by bracken or whatever you have to pull the camera out from, wouldn't it be cool if the bracken streamed the camera directly to a tv or the lc monitor? before they died?? broadcasting their screams and etc?
or maybe their screams are broadcast on a one way radio
or maybe a muffled echo that plays throughout random sections of the map? im not really sure, but there is a little lack of me laughing or being horrified by my friends final words.

Backroom mod maze is always the same. These stairs are different. They are randomly generated based on the moon seed, And it's endless.

if i may make a suggestion to improve the general 'Fun' of the maze part so it engages the player better, what if being in the maze constantly but slowly drained your health, but there are a few exits
so most of the time it is a death sentence but players that get in there have a reason to rush and feel engaged as they may find a way out (while being drained and chased)
imo that would make it go from an annoyance to a badass excape chase sequence
but you are the maker and you have done so much cool work on it, this is just my thoughts about how me and my friends would view it. dont let me dictate ur vision
How do you make it look so illuminated? I have deactivated full darkness several times, but after reviving it seems that it was activated again, did it conflict with another mod or did it configure incorrectly?

monsters like Bracken and Coilheads don't interpret the LOS triggers outside very well from what I've seen. Rolling Giants even still have issues sometimes.

Diversity is a really good pair with Meltdown and LethalRadiation and Backrooms and insanity remastered a lot of good stuff
I stopped playing with Backrooms because it got really annoying

i said if those mushrooms can deafen people. why not make them hallucinate monsters too. as in seeing their crewmates as monsters since they cant hear them, and would only either kill it or run away. plus adding an actual monster to make them think which is to respond to if Fight or Flight.

I don't know how it happens but calling a method on UnityEngine's random class often returns identical values with diversity enabled.
I spend waaaaay too long debugging my personal fork of an event mod that prints randomized values to chat until I figured out Random was often returning the same values and the game apparently DOES NOT print identical lines to chat it simply omits them

I think the ghost girl haunting broke my controls? She starts chasing me and turns my screen blue and I lose the ability to scroll through my inventory, interact with things, and open doors. I’m not even sure if that’s what broke it but that’s all I’ve got

Puffers won't run away after seeing a player but stay in place, after a bit he'll slowly approach you. This being more aggressive over time. Holding a shovel will threaten it to run away like the regular behavior.

@azure wedge i have a question bout truedarkness, mainly with the intesity config, does it work like 1, 0. or does it work like 1, 0.9, 0.8 etc
because i really like true darkness, but sometimes it really screws up modded moons, so tryna figure out if i can tone it down a fair bit

It really depends on your gamma and pc settings tbh. 0.5 is pretty good for me but your mileage may vary

umm, it kinda does tho..? part of player conditions. ||Being close to steam leaks will give you blindness (blurred vision) just like standing in puffer spores. Although it's sometimes bugged and you get blindness even when steam valve is already closed.||

but i saw on the logs that diversity applied the revamp on steam valves
i don't think that the steam (smoke like) and steam valves are the same thing
i was about to ask if the steam valve has a higher chance to pop off the steam while the players are nearby

Could just add a toggle in config for those that use mods that place slots there. Also, to be honest, styling them as regular slots is not the best idea IMO. Even if fitting stylistically. I can already see some people thinking those are extra slots or something. Not a big deal though I guess.

i had a hard time with it plus combining the Immersive Visor makes it dreadful to find where you are. i was blinded too long that i had to spam scan to see something. when i regained my sight, my friend was nabbed by a bracken in the dark forest behind me like a few inches away
Immersive Visor doesn't affect much in that department. Only adds cracks right now.
